For this you'll need atleast 1 sorting system per side, possibly 2 sorting systems per side if using the max speed lava ticking version. you'll want two filter for nuggets, 2 for gold, 2 for flesh on each side. then send the swords into lava or a smelter:) ruclips.net/video/ynFvc000KNM/видео.html
One thing I learned is you can stack the portals on top of each other and repeat the circuits for better rates.

Could you recommend a sorting system setup to use for this. When I built one of these with an equivalent output in survival, I had to split the output into four separate hopper lines, each with non-stackable filters, just to keep the swords from clogging the whole thing.

I'm glad to see that you're finally experimenting with these gold farms. I designed one years ago with four ticking portals and it produced 1400-1500 ingots per hour of running the farm it was insane.
You can stack these farms btw, for anyone wondering, just be careful with the amount of exp orbs and items it produces when you stack it

I had just built a stacked gold farm with 16 portals 👀 a week before he released this video. It's broken off into sections 4 portals per section, and each has its own collection/sorting system. Yet, I still need to find a better way to sort through the items. It eventually gets to many swords and starts breaking the filters, and then all my chests are filled with swords
@@MrFailTube All my things go through one stream of water and I sort only nuggets and ingots, the rest into the fire. It was probably possible to send them for smelting, but I’m happy with the current income from the farm
@@obscurin6859 yeah if you send the swords into fire it'll help massively with FPS and lag reduction. You'll lose potential nuggets smelting the swords, but it's worth it. That's what I used to do before I switched over to Java back in May. And once the broken bones in my hand heal I'll go over to bedrock, design a new gold farm and post it, if I find a way.
Last year I also built one with 4portals and it was insane. 30lvs in 40 second and over 2500 gold. You can actually reduce lag by building it on chunk border

If you are building this on a realm, extend the snow bucket circut by one block and add a repeater in order for the portal to spawn before the snow breaks it. Some realms have server lag which causes certain farms like these to break. Hope this helps!
where do you add the repeater? my portal only lights a few times and then stops, I think cuz of lag, I tried adjusting the tick of the current repeater

Very happy with this build. Mine absolutely churns out experience and gold. My sorting system is a monster though. I originally tried to have mine smelt down the swords but that turned out to be more trouble than it was worth so I incinerate them along with overflow rotten flesh. Can't wait to see item sorting systems after crafters are introduced.
Shouldn't be too hard depending on the size of the farm. I built one with 8 blast furnaces and a lava farm for fuel

Maybe you could attach an item sorting system? Could help funnel swords into blast furnaces, seperate the loot, and makes it available to be upgraded in 1.21 for auto crafters to turn all the gold you get into gold blocks for better storage
I was thinking the same thing, I think the best bet for that is an Allay sorter, although I know those can be a pain to come by :/
Quad speed minecart filters are surprisingly cheap and work reliably now.

@@lukaskirkegaard28 you'd need a ton of allays because they are slow. Also which would cause lag. Also the only non stackable is gold swords. Quad speed water stream with minecart sorter. Crafters to turn nuggets into blocks. Smelt the swords, or just burn them, they add up but they tend to clog.
If you put a sorter under the farm , be sure to double up the items that are being sorted because of how many items this farm produces
Don't forget with the crafter you can automatically turn your gold nuggets into gold blocks

A small trick to know the direction: place down a horizontal lever, the direction it points at will be south/east

I've used a type of farm like this for almost 2 years, I put a twist on it and made 4 portals going into 1 kill chamber, to make a xp farm, can get from 0 to 30 xp in like 2 or 3 mins on hard difficulty
I have found the overall rates; (this is for 1000 pigmen which is about 17 minutes) if you use looting 3, have multiple clerics (you don’t have to cure them), this farm will make 31 emeralds, 36 gold blocks (if you smelt the swords, which, in blast furnaces, will take 24 coal) and will get you 17040 xp(level 77)this does include the trading and the bonus xp from smelting, in an hour this farm will make 12 emerald blocks, 2 stacks of gold blocks, and to level 137, but you will need 87 coal.
Ooh, I have stacks and stacks of charcoal, I only use normal coal for trading
I just built this thing, in a huge cave that happened to be under my base area. this thing is obscenely productive. I almost feel bad getting that much kills and gold loot.
Instead of the chests, I ran a line of hoppers past some item filter circuits (needed 2 of each because sometimes it would overload it and gold or flesh would slip by) and dump the gold swords into a smelting system, double chest splits into two double chests which splits into 2 furnaces each with a load of fuel feeding into from the back. it's a slick setup that I couldn't have done without your tutelage master.

Hi guys, an important warning here especially for those who play on mobile, don't build the slaughterhouses between chunk lines or even on the side of a line, because even though it doesn't generate lag, at times the slaughterhouse freezes and disables due to being or on top of or next to a chunk line, if you leave AFK, you'll come back with your maps full of mobs. I hope this comment stands out to alert everyone :))

yes, it happened to me, I moved the farm, and reduced it to a slaughterhouse just because I can handle it, and I discovered that not only the chunk lines but the position of the portals also affect it, there are places that generate fewer pigmans, I moved to another location and discovered There are places that generate pigmans excessively, I haven't quite figured out how it works yet but I'll investigate.
I always have the commitment to build Silent's larger farms but I'm loving these smaller versions he's been releasing. Perfect for new worlds!

I love this type of gold farm but I'm tired of dying everytime I try to take my normal portal to the nether and die loading due to this farm I wish they would fix this issue its so annoying on hard difficulty.

Thank you so much for this, I have been working on an afk zone in my world as I have been so busy with school and work, I still want to do something in my world while not being actively there, very thankful for this, I think I will feed part of my bamboo farm into a super smelter to smelt all the swords
I always like ur videos cuz not many ppl have tutorials for bedrock edition and ur ones are easy to build with more items than any other farm and the raid farm u made was amazing I works perfectly
The crafter will be useful for farms because now anything they craftable can be crafted into anything say like gold for example when golden nugget fall in from zombie piglin farms
This farm immediately came to mind when they announced the crafter. And you can safely craft ingots at max speed with just dust and glass and comparator, load at double hopper speed, 1w vertical tileable.

I use a slab to let the exp flow into a water stream so I can afk further away, I think this is more optimal so you can have an enchanting setup at your afk spot. Didn't know you could light it on the sides like that though, that could further improve my version!
I built this opposite my hostile farm so I can get all the XP and items in one place. Tricky to keep items from bouncing, need them to hit the bubble elevator at exactly the right speed.
Could you tell me where you put the slab?
@@ogl3eastmode948 put an upper slab on the level of the water across from your water source so that the experience flows towards it, then you can have packed ice leading into a standard water stream towards your afk spot

I was using as xp farm mostly for enchants before but now instantly repairs anything with mending. *_(everything you have instantly goes from near breaking to new at once)_* the redstone is a bit messy and big under the hood no matter how i tried to design it😂 but look good from outside i think?! I've put the whole thing in sky right before we reach the build limit, nobody will see it up there but it will create lag a bit and it's like a ghost. it's the upgraded version of the ones that I've built previously and improved it over time from my older worlds...
Unlike this one in the video though *(SILENT DOES NOT MISS!🔥 don't get me wrong, he builds CLEAN AF)*
The one i use, has full lava sources on every observer and have wooden doors and i used buttons and signs for places that has chance of catching fire but has no use, it doesn't retract the lava and it's not necessary because that makes the portal light faster after breaking, also with redstone i can disable the portal and the observers separately or all together so it won't have anything or create lag when its off, the portals won't light even if you use flint so... >_x
It has a few buttons and levers each with lamps showing if that part successfully got to work after you did whatever or not, its near the trident killer where i afk that controls the whole system like a controller on wall if necessary. *_come on silent, you could make a CRAZY one for us too! I will like and comment on the video myself! Make one pls, These are great and useful but early game man!_*

Anyway, It has a high spawning rate to the point we nearly need every bit in the mob cap we have so its up there near the build limit. *_(its way more lag friendly than normally, trust me on that!💔😀👍)_*

Also i improved the trident killer on effectiveness and timing...
It uses one trident killer only, 8 pistons, 4 on top of 4 same ways.
rewired it for timing, the 4 pistons that are pushing the tridents are waterlogged (why not use the minecraft bedrock's exclusive?)
The pistons push the trident at the same time with the one that is kinda in front of it, kinda mirroring themselves in moving so 2 cycles at the same time *_( it improves the effectiveness on using more tridents and using the impaling enchant)_*
the 4 pistons on top are not waterlogged and each of them are linked with the one under it, so 4 pistons move at once, every side has 2 pistons on top each other and 4 working at once then goes on another direction to do the same, like this:

pushing the mobs in to tridents together and better *_( if the rate gets high enough and it lagged you'll know why i did that, they will jump and avoid the pistons and avoid getting killed otherwise!)_*
Also under the ground i used 4 hopper minecarts on 4 hoppers, 2 goes to one dabble chest and the other 2 another one of those. *_(Mirroring👁👃👁)_*
Both those dabble chests linked to 2 separate lines of item filtering systems. *_(So it won't get laggy because of items that haven't picked up by them and the system won't feel a thing)_*
hoppers that captured the goods can link to the chests that belong to the same thing. At the end it has 2 separate dabble chests again one for each end, those gonna get the trash. those are both linked to one dropper each, using the fast item filler that is with 3 hoppers going in to one dropper (silent already explained it!) and with detection system *_( don't sleep on this, put a proper one, so it doesn't lag or break and stop working if the chests, hoppers or droppers are full and so they'll be done with the trash the fastest, before the chests have a chance to get full and avoid blowing up the filter system with items causing PAIN trying to get it back on)_* >_< !!!
The trash can burn with lava or fire so i used soul sand that has blue flames "Soul Fire" get it?😎😂 and it won't go off or spread ever! its my kind of fire anyway, its in a tall glass thing that i thought it looks good enough.
But now I don't even know what do i do with all these stacks of gold blocks i have anymore! This... is bad?, give me ideas!😢 I have that instant trade thing with piglins like 64 gold block worth of ingots goes poof in seconds! Or just build something literally but using gold block in any form, I've built gold beacons for all potion effects at max on my older world but not this one or anything good you think! Tell me, definitely you'll have something i haven't thought of, i know THAT at least!...

was looking to beef up my gold farmage and the sheer amount of items i'm getting is insane! great design and really easy to build (i had to do it twice because of the bug) and the gold i get now is easily more than double my old farms! to those looking to hoard all items just be sure you have a fast item sorter or lots of space for backlog

I already have a gold farm, but I had no idea gold swords could be smelted into nuggets! I've been manually discarding them into lava pits, and yes, it takes forever. So thanks for the time saving tip, even if it wasn't the one you meant to give! :)

If you just want to dispose of the swords use droppers facing lava cauldrons with observer clocks.
Put about 4 or 5 blast furnaces after your doubled item sorter need sorter sorting 2 or 3 of the same item to keep up with drops so they dont go into the blast furnaces get alot more gold nuggets
I'll just add that I've built a gold sword super smelter for my old portal farm and even with an op lava farm it's not worth the effort to keep them fueled and unclogged. Just build more portals and run the farm longer. With a smelter going it's not really full afk anymore. I don't even run mine for gold, it's a byproduct of XP.
Literally just build a random gold farm today, but me and my friend agreed to build this tomorrow because it’s just too good!
Just built this using fire spread. My portals length is east/west. The fire is spreading perfectly fine north/south to my portals. Its working great. Barely seem to get ingots, more swords/nuggets/flesh, but it works.

Thanks for that tuto...i made some change to make it like a modul to be able to add more portal by moving the 2 killing chamber to a solo one both water stream lead to a bigger water stream who drop in the killing chamber so i could add portal like i want:) and for sure a central lever to start the trident killer the lava and the dropper that drop the overflow into lava to be sure it never stuck by sword
Small Tip, Place buttons along the obsidian on the side the pigmen spawn, this will increase the rates by a lot, I don't know the actual reason, but it massively increased my spawn rates by like 5x if not more
It runs faster with timed pulses from the dispensers. I use a 2 tick repeater clock with 8 max size portals.

I would just like to say keep up the good work.
i found that the tridents will sometimes glitch into the hopper collection system, they wont go into the chests they'll literally stick out of the hoppers like you threw the trident at them. so if you see your pigmen arent dying, dig down to your hoppers where the trident killer is, and walk around it until you collect them.
Just a tip,keep the rotten flesh to trade with cleric villagers,they take 32 per emerald so its great at getting rid of it and extra emeralds
Do this while afk:
-room to keep you safe from mobs with windows so you can see
- Hold a looting 3 sword
-Be in hard for higher (1.5x) rates
-Build two lava lighters to light it faster

I used an observer pointed at the portal which activates the powdered snow dispenser. Resulted in a more reliable turnovers of portal activation and destruction.

by the way for anyone making this farm and dosent have spare tridents, you can swap out the glass in the killing area with a ( on the bottom) slab so you can kill them with your sword
I found a new glitch/hack to get tons of emeralds. Bedrock.
Find a pillager outpost, set up a pillager farm (pillagers spawn, walk onto a water trap, magma block = death = drops.)
Set up a villager(s) next to the outpost. Start a raid. Trap a raider in a boat next to the outpost. All the pillagers from the outpost will now have pillager raid drops. Go about farming and building while pillagers spawn and bank crazy amounts of emeralds/gear/enchanted books, etc until the raid times out. Start another raid and repeat.
I just discovered this. During a 3ish hour period I collected 2 stacks of blocks of emeralds.

I have one I made myself with 4 portals except I burn the rotten flesh and swords they take up a lot of room although if I wanted I could store the rotten flesh my main issue is the item sorters not keeping up and items stay inside the kill chamber when I use it for an extended period of time although it does generate A LOT of gold
One thing I don't get about the lava-lighting portals is why it works with doors, with 3 trapdoors (as in you farm) but not with a single row of trapdoors (tried this some time ago, was very frustrating).
Still, these gold farms together with a iron-farm/trading-hall are THE most important builds in any Survival Minecraft world... it allows you to bootstrap back to good tools when you died and cannot retrieve your stuff.
It should work with a single row of trapdoors. But sometimes it doesn't. But I fixed it by putting solid blocks over the trapdoors. Go figure.

So a sorter that would seperate all items with a blast furnace connected in line to smelt all the extra swords... i use a different variation of gold farm same principle. But i capture the swords and disenchant for the short xp i can draw off them. Since the kill chamber and collection is all contained i still get all xp as well while zoglins are killed... the disenchanting isnt much but its just busy work so I'm still actively doing something. I love Silents content!! PieIsTheBest!

I've been using Jzplayz version of this ever since the xp glitch was removed, but that has slowly been nerfed throughout the months that it's been out. This one looks a lot more efficient than the last one. Imma start using this instead.
So when extending and moving it out beyond the chunk into the next will there be redstone problems?

At first I thought this is a two-man farm. Thankfully it's not and it is an overworld farm. No need to trot over to the Nether and bridge over huge lava seas just to make a gold farm. Thanks Silent.
On my device on Bedrock the Lava version Comparator clock is too fast for the Powder Snow Dispenser and it doesn’t work. Had to switch to a Repeater clock on 1 tick.
Why does it work for you? Is there a setting or is your device simply more performant? Also is there another maybe faster clock I might try?

Silent i built someone elses gold farm in my survival world only because it was designed a way i liked even though i only use your redstone farms because you are the most thorough. Anyway i used prowls goldfarm and the redstone wasnt consistent. O the amount of hours i put into that farm. I have learnt a valuable lesson

hoppers can only move 9k items/hour so without advanced storage tech you gotta split things up
I have four portals over one long killer, works great, have quad speed water stream sorting, may expand to 8 portals if I get bored but rapidly diminishing returns as you add more portals.
This is a brilliant design. Bathing in gold now

my nether portals will sometimes not go on fore a few secconds(its not consistant) and i'm thinking its because the powderd snow comes out too fast. how do i fix this?

PSA if you're on Realms: This thing can hit lag issues. If one of your killers crosses a chunk boundary, it can shut off periodically, forcing you to restart the system. If you're running a water stream item sorter, you'll want/need to have multiple filters per item since it can lag skip over hoppers.

Lately I’ve been building trident killers where theres a solid block in the corners and observers directly facing the piston (because i forgot how id seen them built before). I find it works fine but I’m curious as to if there’s a difference between this and what I’m doing? (Edit: I wrote this before seeing he needed space for a waterlogged stair)

Tip if you start the farm and go on hard you will get lots more pigmen +lots more gold
