I love this song. I was introduced to Webby with it. His first verse is beautiful, and this video is so powerful BUT. I always count down the moment until the most energy filled artist ever, in a duet, to ever exist, to begin his verse. It doesn’t matter who he performs with. Ren is the most polarizing artist in a song involving somebody else. Ren is the freaking GOAT!

His album - Last Wednesday dropped on Christmas Day. It's FIRE AF. Chris' Dad is the guitarist on this track. He's KILLING it. Ren made it, Chris, probably not. So many layers to the "denizens" of Purgatory, from the N@zi and the AA man playing pool (if you notice, the AA has a klan member hanging from a noose around his neck) to the bartender with his head blown off. To the 1% Biker Dude and the AA lady. So many stories there. Baggie in my pocket, the drug of the day, baggage in my closet all the crap that he's been carrying around in addition to the baggie. Webby is a whole other Rabbit Hole. I can't stop playing Last Wednesday on a loop. Tale of 2 Kings and the Last Wednesday (Intro) are FIRE! The whole album (all 28 tracks) are worth the time to listen. I think he has videos for most of them. His style is pretty eclectic, ranging from country to hard rap.

I think true genius comes in when the composition and the lyrics tell the same story and Ren is really good with that! Not sure if that answers the question?

They don’t write or compose and definitely dont have a hand in the videos. And Ren does all of those tasks. Do u know of any artists that do everything like that??
I don't know a lot about Purgatory beyond the colloquial usage, but I feel like it's significant that Ren got to go back but Chris didn't, and Chris is the driver. He's got more to answer for, and it's more important for him to "put down the drink" to get a second chance.
Based on the clues, I'd say the woman with the cellphone was making a call while driving and ended up smacking her head into the windshield. I've watched Emergency Medical Service videos where they call that particular head injury a "bulls-eye", because that's what the windshield ends up looking like. They seem to have put a lot of thought into these characters. Also, the song reminds me of "Hotel California", and the bartender reminds me of the movie "The Shining".
