Oh Alastor cares a lot, not about Vox, but about being perceived as the winner of their feud. He specifically waited for Vox's notice and assault to ridicule him in public. He cares. A constant about Alastor is that he likes to pretend he's above it all and it's always a lie. That's why the animators made his eyes so expressive so that you'd always know what's behind the smile he plasters.

Fun fact: during the duet of Val and Vox, there’s a picture of Alastor cut out on pinned on a wall, BUT if you look closely you can see Vox standing next to him. Funny thing is is that the picture looks good and doesn’t look like it’s glitching or anything.

Here’s my theory about the beef behind VOX and ALASTOR:
Me and a friend who ALSO watch Hazbin Hotel think that maybe Vox DID have romantic feelings for Alastor sometime in the past and said something along the lines of “I love u” and “can you join the Vs so we can be together” and maybe that Al said no because he’s Asexual.
BUT, he might not KNOW he’s ace since he didn’t know what that meant in “Hello Rosie” and simply felt awkward and simply put on a bold smile and declined Vox’s feelings. And because of his usually ecstatic demeanor, Vox took it the wrong way.
You're not the only one. I think Vox wanted Alastor on more than one team.

To clear up a few questions - yup, Hazbin is set in Pride! Sinners aren’t allowed to leave the Pride ring, the rest of the rings are hell-born only (which is probably contributing to Sinner over-population; I wonder if they’ll campaign to allow Sinners to traverse the rest of Hell in future seasons?) And Sinners, like demon royalty, can only be killed by angelic weaponry, so if they’re hurt by fire (or ripped apart by Valentino lol) they can regenerate, but it’s a slow and painful process (That’s why Velvette says “I can’t wait for her to put herself together” after Valentino takes out his anger on one of her models)

One small correction, I'm pretty sure hell-born can move across the rings. In Helluva, Millie and Moxxie are from Wrath but their business is in Pride (for obvious reasons since sinners can't leave the ring and they kinda need sinners). And we seen Vortex and Verosika work in the same building, which again, is in Pride. Before Hazbin, no one really knew that hell-born aren't supposed to be killed during extermination so a lotta people have drawn comics and stuff if IMP were caught in the crossfire and one of them dies. I've seen a pretty good comic where Moxxie dies. Even now with the new info that the exorcist aren't supposed to kill hell-born, they probably don't care and do it anyway.

I would assume that sinners can leave the pride ring with permission, or if they can prove legitimate business.
Valentino probably knows Osmoeus, and Carmilla probably has a working relationship with the sin of Wraith, even if they don't get along.
Similarly, a hall pass from Charlie might be able to get anyone anywhere.

6:53 Hazbin Hotel takes place exclusively in Pride.
It's mainly due to the fact that most of the cast are Sinners and Overlords, so unless Charlie or Lucifer (perhaps Vaggie even) need to go to any of the other Rings, we will mainly be seeing Pride.
I would like to add that Pentagram City and Imp City are the only known cities or urbanized areas of Pride that we've been shown except for the neighborhood where Stolas lives.

FUN FACT: Vox, Val, and Vel's group is apparently spelled Vee's not V's. Vee is also a term for a poly relationship where one person is dating 2 people but the people they are dating aren't with each other. SOOOO Vox is dating Valentino and Velvet but Velvet and Valentino are NOT dating. Since Al is Ace that could be why he denied them along with thinking radio is superior of course!

Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, I believe both take place in the pride ring because sinners are only allowed in the pride ring. They are not allowed anywhere else in hell. The reason for this is that sinners are given special powers when they arrive at hell, which makes them more powerful than hellborns, imps, and hellhounds. Since they pose that much of a threat to the other citizens of hell, they are confined to the pride ring.
I love how both my and Elijah’s reaction to sir pentious going flying after ripping Alastor’s coat is just “weeeeeee 😊😊😊”
To clarify on the question of what happens to the sinners who we see burning and stuff, if a sinner dies in hell through normal means, they'll simply respawn/regenerate back in hell after death, it's only possible to truly kill a sinner in hell through angelic means. That's why the extermination is such a big deal, and generally speaking the overlords don't go to war with each other even if some hate each other, because they generally don't have the means, don't believe they have the means, or don't think it's worth it to reveal to others.
The only other case where a sinner demon may die for good is if someone had them under contract and ripped their soul apart or something, and even that is just a hypothetical, since we don't know much about contracts, but it's heavily implied overlords may potentially be able to kill those that they have under contract, or potentially subject them to a fate worse than death.
There is only one sinner demon we know of that is able to kill or at least permanently incapacitate other demons, and that's Alastor. Though how he did this is unclear, we technically don't even know if he killed anyone, or if he just permanently held them prisoner and tortured them, there's a lot about death we don't know in this world we don't know, but what we DO, is that it's extremely difficult or specific ways that are able to permanently kill demons, at least the immortal ones, like sinners, overlords, seven sins, Lucifer, etc. Hellborn demons seem weird, but generally speaking "royal" hellborns are like sinners, immortal to all conventional forms of death, with the exception being holy arms, while non-royal hellborn like imps are just as vulnerable to any form of damage, though they can also age, but have indeterminate lifespans, seemingly living longer than humans, but they DO still age. But potentially live close to twice as long.
We really need more info on how death and stuff works though, feel like that's gonna become important in season 2 though.

The war of the entertainment mediums! Radio, TV, and social media all have their set of flaws and it clearly shows in their personifications in these characters they represent.
Hazbin Hotel takes place soley in the Pride ring. and thats the ring where the sinners go. everyone else in hell can travel between the other rings, but sinners can't leave Pride. the hotel is on the outskirts of Pentagram City. Helluva Boss as of right now has episodes that have taken place in all of the rings except Envy.
6:55 okay so Sinners are only able to go in the pride ring, since the original sin was Pride, which is where the hotel is. The rings as a concept actually come from Dante's Inferno which features the rings of hell that are meant to basically be for worse and worse sinners as you go down, this was kinda changed from the book to the show since now sinners are only able to be in one ring but hellborn demons can go from ring to ring with some species being from specific rings (hellhounds=gluttony, succubi and inccubi=Lust, etc)
So yeah the show is set in the pride ring! This and Helluva Boss draw a ton from different religion inspired stories (the Ars Goetia for example are all real and from the Book of Solomon) but yeah it's really cool!

That’s incorrect. Only sinners are completely confined to the pride ring while native demons can come and go as they please. Imp city is in the pride ring just a different place from pentagram city with there being 9 circles, or major cities with pentagram city being the first circle and imp city being the second circle. So in helluva boss the episodes mainly have them dealing with the other rings of hell and native demons and leaving exploring the pride ring and sinners to hazbin hotel so they can be separate but in the same universe, especially since helluva boss was created as a spin off to explore the rest of hell while saving the pride ring for hazbin hotel which was still being developed. Originally hell was only the pride ring but to put out content between hazbin hotel being created they created helluva boss and then created the 7 ring and deadly sin divisions
