Vox actually IS the de facto Internet Demon because you can't really have the internet without video-based hardware like screen displays, and Vox is the leading manufacturer of electronics in Hell; he might be erroneously called the TV or Video Demon, but really he's more like the Electronic Demon. Vox's biggest strength is that he's incredibly progressive and innovative, and he's one of the first of the younger Overlords that filled the power vacuum left by Alastor's terror campaign through Pride decades ago, so he figured out that the best way to get a leg up was to diversify into all manners of electronics instead of only sticking to TV, which is why Vox likes to think himself superior to Alastor; the Radio Demon may be older and stronger, but he's borderline technophobic and only sticks to what he knows and what's given him power already. Of course the irony is that Alastor's control of all things radio is actually a massive threat to Vox's empire, not only because radio is a tried and tested medium, but because a lot of Vox's modern tech relies on radio signals to work, whereas Alastor's radios can function even without Vox's networks, or even without direct access to the electrical grid that Vox has plugged himself into by way of battery-powered portable radio devices. Velvet is the Social Media Demon that keeps up with all the latest trends and fashions, and essentially has her hands on the power of influencer culture and the vast amounts of information that funnels through social media. She calls herself the 'backbone of the Vs', and she's not entirely wrong because Vox himself can't keep up with all of the social media nonsense she runs, and Valentino is too narrow-minded to stay relevant forever despite his stranglehold on the porn industry. On that note, Valentino basically has a monopoly on porn and film in Hell, to the point where it might be more accurate to label him the Film Demon instead of just the Porn Demon. All of the TV shows and movies that Vox runs on his network come from Valentino, so while Vox hosts it all, Valentino is the one really in charge of the entertainment industry in Pride, and he also has his fingers in the drug industry as well since he himself is the source of a drug that he proliferates throughout Hell and gets people addicted to.
Thought I'd toss my hat in for a quick clear up: Vox is actually in charge as he is the oldest of the Vees (Longer a Sinner has been in hell = the more deals made = the more power) it's just that the hold of Voxtech grew when he joined up with Valentino and Velvette as they brought Pride's Porn industry and Social Media/Fashion under their shared control. And surprisingly Vox is the level headed one in the group and, fun fact, Velvette is the youngest Overlord of the Pride Ring.
The Vs handle different aspects of media. Velvet handles social media, like tiktok and twitter, valentino is the adult industry. Vox handles television programs and acts as their center piece as it's his tech and his screens the others put their content on.
It's been speculated that the reason why Vox lost his signal but Alastor did not, is that all of his technology still relies on *radio waves* to send their signals. And as a result, no matter how much more "advanced" Vox is, in the end he's always at Alastor's mercy.
Not really, it's just Vox did it himself, you see, Vox can affect electricity directly or inadvertently through his emotions, since he was live streaming that time, him raging caused the entire Pentagram city blackout as the result.
It’s important to keep in mind that Alister loves attention, so it would make sense that he cares about what the papers would say. He might also hold the papers, a more dated form of communication, in higher regard than the news (which is why he’s not necessarily worried about Vox’s smear campaign) Also, Vox and Valentino seem to both equally be manipulative in their relationship, and not necessarily one over the other. I do definitely hope you'll make commentary for the rest of the series. This show is totally awesome!
I'm looking into a way to react without crossing my line on original, off RUclips, series.
Just do the reactions from Prime versions and edit them like other reactors have. Also, the power in Pentagram City went out, not the whole Pride Ring. I'm pretty sure Imp City is fine wherever it is in Pride.
Velvette is the Internet Demon
And the backbone
She’s the social media demon
IM SO GLAD THAT IM GAVE THOSE GIFE SUBS DURING YOUR STREAMS @Airier SOM PEOPLE CAN SEE THIS KINDA STUFF.
And thanks again for that. 😊
I thank you man for that
we appreciate your service
@@Airieryou’d better start using that prime subscription for more of this show with us, because trust me, it gets so good dude. Twitter can suck it, lol.
Never rely on RUclips Auto-English captions, they don't translate words well.
You watched the 11 first minutes, the rest of the episode is on Prime
About Vaggie being short compared to Charlie: Charlie is roughly 6'6". Vaggie's just a little shorter than that. All of the characters in Hazbin Hotel, aside from tiny ones like Nifty, Razzle & Dazzle, are all obscenely tall.
Airier: What's a donkey show? I have no idea what that is...
Me: GOOD. Keep it that way. Spare yourself.
"What's a donkey show?" Is a question I've seen one other reactor ask. She looked it up and regretted it. That was hilarious!
Pause king strikes again
I like when people pause instead of talking over the action but when you pause every frikking 10 seconds just to see BS in the background it really ruins the flow of everything.
Yeah, I did that a lot on this episode. So many squirrel moments with background details. 😅
When Vox said *I gotta send a message of who’s REALLY in charge of things now* bro really said *not you probably*😂😂😂
Actually when you referred to internet demon there is one and that is Velvette one of the other Vees the girl who was talking to Vox about calming Valentino. Shes in charge of like the social/media influence with fashion and other stuff. Vox is in charge of the TV which in turn help Valentino with exposure on his s%x industry
i mean being analytical is good and all......but not EVERY little voice change or flicker means something, sometimes things just exist for effect.
damn the stop the episode right before the epic Line from vox
I really want to see your reactions to the rest of this episode, and all the others. Even if they need to be edited for copyright reasons, just having your thoughts would be a treat.
14:26 I inhaled air the wrong way when you said it like that omg 😭
12:20 Valentino has multiple accents but yeah one of them is Latino/Spanish.
Wow literally summarized valintino from just text way to go
Velvette is the internet demon…effectively
Many other reactors have been able to review the other episodes with a bit of editing, pausing, and a less intense overlay than the one you used.
Please do check out the rest of this episode!!
There's so many great moments in the second half!
Just a note Velvet, the girl in the V's, is the Social Media Demon. So she is the Internet Demon really.
20:43 thats Velvet lol
That's only like half the episode, not sure if you're aware.
You didn't even watch the whole video, did you?
Angel’s contract is something like full control when he’s in the sex studio. Thus the gaslighting and drugs to keep him coming back. But Angel has been staying at the Hasbin, rent free, so he doesn’t have to go back the studio to make money.
If you have to ask what a donkey show is, you do NOT want to know. 😂
A) you might want to stop pausing and going back every 2 seconds and B) this is not a reaction to the entire second episode.
I thought a lot of Alasters distortions was just proximity to his microphone cane
Just some fun facts you can hear Valentino squeak becuase moth can squeak, and Alastor isn't just a deer but a Wendigo.
They can!?
😯
I didn't even know they could make noises.
@@Airier certain ones can
18:46 i think you're looking too much into the distorsion thing. It's not that deep
no one is in full control the they work together ,every voice is changing when they are angry
Papers came before radio.
Why did you cover up the video?
I'm pretty sure the whole point of the meeting with Adam, before Lucifer even got charlie to go in his place, was to tell them/rub in their faces that the extermination was going to be in six months. Adam just likes to hear himself talk and chose to break the news in the worst way possible for his own vindictive amusement.
Technically the blackout only happened in pentagram city. There are other cities in the pride ring like imp city where the immediate murder professionals have there business In helluva boss.
Valentino and Vox are an on and off again couple
A very toxic couple
If you're do the rest. Do a similar format to this and it broken up (even not showing the footage at all and maybe a timestamp to sync up)
Then you can hopefully do it all for these. Love your reactions. I've seen several people do it as a time stamp and sync. Then watching along.
Like I mentioned on the poll, if you have a moral problem with reacting to the content behind a paywall you can just use a timer instead of the video. That way people who have it can follow along and those that don’t can’t. Plus it’d remove any potential copyright issues.
Will you do another part to finish the episode ?
Is the game from EA you're talking about Alice asylum? Because I'm still livid they brought that project to a screeching halt, I wanted that game to happen so bad 😭💔
I had the unfortunate chance of being too curious while watching this episode with a friend of mine
All im gonna say is that a donkey show has something to do with beastiality
i did the same thing
i just sat there for a while.... processing... and wondering where the closest booze was
@@theirishviking9278 FELT. I actually felt my soul leave my body
Meh, I've been forced to see worse.
I wouldn't try to find some secret meaning behind their change of voice and distortions. I think it's just a mean of expression, just like intonation. And they can use just as a mannerism or to emphasise something. + they're media people, so it's logical they their speech is more energetic filled with specific intonations.
the vees (and specfically vox) are my favourite characters in the show.
I'm pretty sure that Vox actually was happy, thinking that Angel Dust had left, because he doesn't really like Angel Dust. Why, you might ask? Simple! Valentino and Vox are partners, husband and husband.
And Valentino fucks and obsesses over Angel Dust all the time.
You can see how Vox would be freakin' jealous, right?
They are both toxic people in an extremely manipulative relationship. Val is the main source of the toxicness, while Vox is the calming, better influence (more or less... definitely more or less)
The Vees relationship is hard to explain, but well, it's was a thing that Vox actually dating Velvette and Valentino.
"Valentino and Vox are partners, husband and husband." Please don't spread headcanons as if they are official canon
@@Ashurman666 Well, excuse me.😕 I just looked it up now. They *had* been husband and husband in the original lore.😤 I'm just a little out-dated, coming back into the hazbin hotel after four years.😖💀 The Instagrams have been rendered non-canon now.😒🥺 I was not doing it out of malice or purposeful carelessness, but instead out of ignorance, so please don't attribute my comment as such.🥺❤💛
Edited for grammar: replaced a comma with a period, and capitalized a word.
Valentino is Angel dusts boss
The song battle of Alastor and Vox is a panger.
BTW, Vivzie confirmed in today's live stream that the Pilot episode is still canon
18:36
Pretty sure it depends on their emotional state. Like Val for instance. He seems to adopt a more European accent when he's calm.
I would highly recommend you to pause at least twice as less as you usually do, it would definitely make your reactions more enjoyable to watch and your theories better structured as you shouldn't waste time to guess everything which is explained in next sentence.
Dad is that you
I think Alastor is a wendigo
viv said alastor's not a wendigo fake fan
10:03 he's moving through electronics
looking forward to seeing your reactions to the next episodes.
I think Vox was excited about Angel moving because he's jealous of how much time Val spends with him.
That watermark is brutal
Trust me everyone else I have seen has had way way worse
@@patfre IDK most I have seen were better. I mean they do cut out some stuff so in that way it can be argued that they are worse the watermark (if they use one) tends to be more see through than this.
What? I have NO idea what your talking about! *left eye twitches*
Valentino is Spanish. Easy mistake I thought he was Italian at first.
Oh hey, same.
3:51 trust me when i say you don’t wanna know what it is
