Hey these all look like terrific cocktails! Not being a huge Rum or Tiki fan I would go for the Daiquiri! I do like one here and there in the summer or on a trip like I just had in gorgeous Maui for 2 weeks! Outstanding! Bliss!! I did have a Tikified Mai Tai while there and a couple of delicious Daiquiries! Your Daiquiri looks and sounds lovely and delicious! I don't think I have ever had Fassionola syrup! I will try it! My husband likes a Stinger sometimes but for my size - petite - it would be way too much. I found some terrific scotch in Maui! Stirred cocktails and scotch is where I am at these days!! Awesome video Rob! Enjoy those high ABV drinks!!! 🙂Have a fabulous weekend with the family Rob! Your little one must be growing like a weed as they do - well all kiddos!! Cheers!!
Thanks Christine! Definitely try the Fassionola! Either my recipe or you can buy it from cocktail shops! It has a wonderingly complex flavor! I do like my TIKI cocktails in the summer! But I try not to have too many as they typically have a lot of sugar! (And alcohol 😜) …gotta balance it out with the nice sippers Cheers!
Could you do a video on the history and culture around tiki cocktails? The drinks seem so flamboyant that there's GOT to be some stories and history there beyond people wanting to get blitzed.
Definitely, many of them just taste like tiki… that’s why my favorites are the ones that stand out with unique flavors! Like the Naked Ape with banana and cinnamon.. very tiki but very unique
that seems to be a theme ive seen while researching cocktails.. alot of them are just swapping passionfruit for fassionola.. I'll check out that drink! cheers!

Yes tiki goes nuts with ingredients! The Hurricane is fantastic and packs a punch!

There’s definitely a trend of simply making drinks with passionfruit syrup and replacing the passionfruit for Fassionola… it totally works!

If you want to make it non alc, what should I alternate instead of rum?
Each of these is very rum forward so the only substitute that wouldn’t drastically change the cocktail is a non-alcoholic rum.
Fassionola might be worth trying out in a Cheif Lapu Lapu.
Substitute the passion fruit syrup with fassionola. 🤷🏻♂️
