Im really enjoy how much wiggle room is given to solve puzzles
If you walk around to the back of the mountain, there’s actually a dry area that you can just climb up
Yea, i was stuck trying to find a way to the ascend shrine. Trying for 10 minutes to scale the mountain. I reloaded a save and just found a giant tree root behind me that lead me straight to the shrine 🤦🏻🤦🏻
@@BreakofDawn I didn’t see it. I did later see it in a walkthrough. RIP.
I probably could’ve backed up a save, but hindsight is 20/20 and my way was so much.
I'm taking my time with this game and there's so much stuff to do. There's a maze where you start on Hyrule then in the Sky and then in the Dephs. It was very cool.
11:14
I did exactly this because i could not find the way up there.
You cannot convince me this is not the best way up there then going behind that dumb waterfall for ONE patch of rock to climb instead.
Fantastic as expected. So glad this wasnt a scarlet violet situation.
Having double the development time helps a lot
Scarlet Violet looks like a 10 dollar game that you would get from a garage sale compared to ToTK
I absolutely love this game, I had a sneak peak to see just how big the map is and it's massive. Someone from ign completed the main story around 80 hours and he only finished 35% of the entire game! 😲
15:15 oof man as soon as he pulled out the flames I knew what would happen, but it still hurt to see
The unicycle didn't work because you glued the spinning part of the wheel in place. Like on the previous part, it had to be attached on the side.
Funniest part was looking at chat and seeing people say that TOTK (the game they’re never going to play) is the exact same as BOTW (the game they’ve never played).
The entire time I've played the game so far I sit there thinking "how is this a switch game." It looks incredible. There's so much variety to the world. Mechanics give multiple answers to obstacles. It's insane this game is on switch lol..
Anyone who ever defends pokemon for being on a "low tier" system. Needs to play this game.. it blows my fuckin mind they made this on the switch. Masterpiece.
I lowkey feel bad for Nintendo fans lmao cause their standards are rock bottom, you're right about this game looking good for a console that's weaker than my phone i had 3 years ago but saying "it looks incredible" is insane, for a 2023 game i was thinking the opposite
The game genuinely does look good, you don’t have to like how it looks but acting like people only like how it looks because their standards are low is kinda dumb
@@xDbrad You know it's the artstyle that counts, right? That's what people normally refer to. I'm sure Nintendo fans know what better graphics overall looks like when Metroid Prime Remastered is on the same system and looks and plays like a PS4 title.
@Dbrad its not supposed to look like elden ring or red dead redemption 2 or anything, it's an artistic game that does genuinely look amazing.
@@xDbrad while u r crawling around the comments wasting life hating they are having the best time of their lives. Who is the sorry one here?
Okay but when you put the unicycle upside down it looks like an airship with the wheel as a steering wheel
you can fuse rock to rock, but you have to pick up non picked up rocks first and place them down if their even like a little lodged into the ground
Wow! It looks absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to get on that grind for 12 hours
My farts are better than Charlie’s farts.
@@anon1403 Totk funny moments RUclipsrs gonna be wilding.
@@anon1403 I might try and upload funny clips myself.
That link impression was 👌
I completely agree with Charlie. A well defined style and nailing that style is always better than "graphics"
I dont need to see every stitch on their outfit, just give me a bunch of em.
didnt look like it from the trailer reaction, i love this man
Charlie making an airboat in Tears of the Kingdom is the most Florida thing ever.
Fun gameplay and content is all it matters. The frame rate just needs to be smooth as well. Anime graphics are fine enough.
Anime. Graphics.
Bro just called cel shading anime graphics
@@Jenna_Talia He probably calls movies like Del Toro’s Pinocchio and A Scanner Darkly cartoons too.
@@Jenna_Talia😭😭
0:20 i know why this person wants an hdmi splitter cable, because capture card pass thru only works when the capture card is powered, so for a hands off capture card experience that does not require the capture card to be powered on (or the computer its plugged into) you split the hdmi before it gets to the capture card.
HDfury makes some good high end splitters that you can use to solve this, with lots of extra features that allow you to finetune the hdmi signal.
"link, are you ok?!"
my brother in christ there were 3 keese
I really like the building mechanics in this game, I thought they were gonna be cheesy but it fits well
Zelda Tears of the Fortnite
@@frouvoxes yup

0:46 this is true. For Switch games, I care more about art direction and overall fun factor. Nobody is expecting next gen graphics on a dated chipset. What they can pull off with the limitations of the Switch is crazy. All of this for only 16GB is crazy
LOL! That's exactly how I got up that cliff. I even did the same trick to get up on that platform before it. I counted 10 logs I had strung together.
I like how it went "Saving" right after he trashed his monster truck. 🤣
@15:12
amazing game holy shit im addicted again, being back in the world of breath of the wild with everything refreshed and continued is PERFECT!! these 2 games work together so well
this confirms that Banjo Kazooie nuts and bolts was ahead of it’s time.
The Link sound simulation garners a chuckle for sure - "GWYEEEAHH"
my favorite part was charlie's drive-by by fire in his all-wooden monster truck
This really is a great game. I didn't pre-order it, but you better believe I took my happy ass into Gamestop yesterday and grabbed it. Just the tutorial island took me a few hours, between exploring and dinking around with stuff. This game is gonna clock in some Skyrim hours.
there is something about charlie's thumbnails and titles that just gravitate you towards watching it. the close-up thumbnail shots are so effortlessly clean and downright funny from time to time. thanks charlie for being one of the few youtubers out there that doesnt change.
Edit : a great example of a classic charlie thumbnail is the wild berry karen video. i remember the freakout she had and it cracked me up.
You can always tell when its a charlie video just from the thumbnail
5:01 Io was so cute, using her head to boop the mic up
The dragons. You can ride them. They go down into the chasms and you can ride them down there too. Be sure to wear proper clothing or weapons because the elements they give off, will eventually harm you. Oh and… Make sure you hold on when they descend and ascend from the Chasms. But yea, you can enjoy the view going down and exploring the depths on a dragon. Super cool.
Damn, I’ve never played a Zelda game but the praise this is getting is making want to play all of them at once
They’re all at least pretty good. Most are really good to amazing. This one is way different than all the others besides breath of the wild, which is a good place to start as it takes place before this one. A link to the past and ocarina of time are also great games to start with. The original is good too if you have a guide.
@@jimmybob5541 bet, I plan to play all of them then
@@AntagonistVR I hope so they’re fun
@@AntagonistVRdon’t forget twilight princess 😭 the story writing is really good compared to most Zelda games, don’t let the slow start discourage you
@@AntagonistVR don't burnout yourself start with this one and take a break before next game
The graphics on this are very nostalgic, happy u uploaded the gameplay!
