Not really, you can moonwalk for as long as possible until you get your ability canceled and then just charge hit while turning camera a bit so he doesnt blind you, with the new hunter perk that increases your speed when you charge.
Minds Eye is actually EXTREMELY weak to clerk, because if she gets a recording of her vaulting, it takes a long time for the recording to finish. Same goes for vaulting pallets, dropping pallets, etc.
id say that its a good 50/50 imo, saying this as someone who has mained tme since 2020 and been an a badge for over a year. the pros are that both rely on mind game, that helena can boost the stalled cipher rush, and that most part of kiting as helena is looping. the cons are that clerk can see you as you're being recorded, can stop you from vaulting (no redemption often unless you're v careful during the recording) and that her hitbox is a pain in the ass to counter - quick, short, yet somehow very wide and long enough to be problematic during pallet camping and shorter loop spots. in conclusion, helena counters clerk the best in kiting areas with high walls, same goes for almost every other hunter against her.

If im chasing her and she’s close to me ill just put a recording on her and go immediately through the pallet; if she drops it on me then i’ll have an instant pallet drop from that so it’s worth it cus with 2 pallet drops i can get tme instantly, if she doesnt drop it i’ll get a hit which is worth losing a recording. If im not close to her i will try to use the recording as peeper just until i get close to her and do the first strategy. I faced some tme that always pick their spawn in good areas like god spawn in moonlit, factory on arms etc. but they rarely kite me past blink.
Been a top 50 clerk since her release( now top 15) and she’s not weak against decoders except for composer cus he can create distance if the clerk start catching up but if you are not chasing him then he will for sure not be able to decode at all cus you can easily record him as he takes longer to get out of the cipher. Mechanic just dies too fast against clerk and then the bot can be recorded so you basically negate her tie potential, she just becomes a burden honestly. Prisoner is also weak in terms of kiting and if he’s not kiting you can block him from decoding, but at least he can create connections for others to finish ciphers, which could come in clutch; he also can mess up you spy ability if you picked the wrong cipher to spy because of his connection. Minds eye, easy to get down, easy to block from decoding. I used to think that explorer is good against clerk and he can be but not if he wants to pop the last cipher with a page cus that animation is pretty long and the clerk has a lot of time to cancel it and then just use that decoding in reverse to slow the cipher or pop it if the clerk knows how close that cipher was to being popped. As for the other counters you are correct, i’d have to add any strong transitioner like patient( insanely good if you face a pro patient), acrobat, toy merchant etc. If you wanna beat a clerk, the answer is not decoding, it is strong transition characters, harassers and supporters and then use accelerated decoding to decode while she struggles to down someone. If you still want to play decoders you need to have at least 2 in your team and a forward, this way you can harass the clerk while she is chasing one of the decoders and the other one can cipher rush.

as a really good clerk, clown actually counters her as he makes it unlikely to get recordings if he uses his rocket seeing as aiming the hit can be hard when he's at a distance, minds eye is sorta odd? her decoding actually does counter clerk to a certain point but recording minds eye makes her vault so slowly which in return also makes blocking pallets or windows even more effective so
They need to release more characters in 1 year ..but that will probably never happen...I wouldn't be surprised if we will only get 4 characters this year
yk they actually did do that at one point they were releasing like 2 / 3 characters a season but i think they noticed that they cant continue like this so now we are getting more S skins for our mains
It will never happen again because there’s too many characters and each time they release a new one they have to go through each character and see how their ability interacts with that specific character.
Im a prof main and i think he is very underrated. Even if he is weak to stun, he can rescue detention, he can help and bodyblock. His passive dodge very well Hermit, bonbon or galatea statue. The defense is the best attack as we say.
The weakness ranking with clerk I actually disagree with. I can confidently say she counter a bit of characters especially characters that have any interaction speed debuff. Like TME has a -30% debuff and clerks record decreases it by 20% so thats 50%

As an S badge Weeping you're mostly right but there are many exceptions, wp is good against bon bon as he can stun on chair + create distance which is the best strat to kite a bon bon, he is a hard counter to spider as all of you have to do is just run into the open and she wont ever catch you, he is one of THE strongest characters against clerk, he was even picked R1 in IJL finals by zeta TO COUNTER CLERK, his support is insanely strong and even with clerk being very fast she gets countered by transition kiting, which wp is very good at, he also counters geisha because if she dashes you just speed yourself up and then she is not catching you, lastly he is good against ann because she can never catch you, if you get a cat on yourself and she tries to explode it you can speed yourself up to get out of the explode range (+ He has good support against ann)
Clown is only good against slow hunters, fast hunters and control hunters can deal with him, you can use ur rocket as stun, but if the hunter has good reaction time weeping clown simply won’t work
@@jogyIDV both, if the hunter has a fast movement speed and has a good reaction time they can easily dodge or disrupt you, since the rocket deployment animation is long enough to give the hunter a hint
I would say psychologist can also be pretty weak against hermit (if she's not first target) bc she can lose her "extra health" without be needing to kite and that limits alot the majority of time and losing valuable health or forcing her to use different strategies from the usual, if she want to avoid it she would have to rotate until find a cipher machine not affected and it's very risky to heal when you have the mark also if hermit notice this he can easily interrupt it from afar
thats exactly the reason why phsycologist is good against hermit, her health is useless if you don't use it her extra health makes it so it takes more hits for the kiter to die

I've countered weeping clown with the ripper several times with the foggy blade. One time the gate is already opened and he tried to go to the gate with his rocket. But at the time, he's already half a health so I just aimed my foggy blade at him and bam. Got a tie but it's better than losing.
Well kinda have to add to weeping clown that he is weak against Ann aswell! Simmilar to Geisha, Ann can catch up fast BUT also just use cat explosion and kick weeping clown of his rocket. I would also say Ann is somewhat good against Antiquarian. Not only that Ann has her cat explosion from the beginning of the game and can always use her cat and jump, stun and cancel powers even after beeing hit. When Antiquarian has a cat she can't get close enough to Ann to hit her, without beeing stunned first. I rightnow main Ann and Antiquarian so thats just my extra ideas I have to add.
Weeping clown acctually IS a good counter to Ann! She can't catch up with her dashes and if she tries to explode the cats you can speed yourself up and escape the explode range and it WONT kick you out of the rocket,+ his support against ann is not bad

ench is really really good against hermit because the other day i managed to long stun the hermit just as i got stunned the timing was really hard to get and it was more of an accident but a good one nonetheless
Yeah but the can be situational. Most of the time, A Good/Pro hermit will be able to stun the enchantress far before she can stun him since her range is shorter.
I also think photographer is really strong against composer since while you are decoding you're really fragile and it's really easy to being jumpscared by him
It's not related to the video, but sometimes, for having played the forward and the batter, I have the impression that the batter is better in every way, but everyone says that the forward is better. I don't understand x)
Forward is better than batter because of his flexibility, forward can do long stuns create a lot of distance with his ball and mainly harass even if there are walls in front of him etc, batter used to be VERY strong, but he got nerfed so much that you have to be very good at him to get value, he needs a clear line of sight otherwise he isnt able to support, thats why nearly everyone conciders forward better :)

Batter needs to be really close to the hunter to get the rescue and the stun is much shorter (or in some cases no stun at all). Forward can be riskier if you miss but is much stronger when it comes to securing a strong balloon rescue! (I think)
I think I'd put Clerk as good against Mechanic instead of weak against Mechanic, because Mechanic really suffers from Clerk being able to record her bot while Mechanic is distracted decoding her own cipher
Honestly while having only 2 new hunters in 2022 helped survivors adjust to meta changes without suddenly shaking things up too much, I feel like it's pretty disappointing for hunter players lol

the doll also has polarity and it can actually be an advantage as well as a huge disadvantage, since if Hermit finds the doll first he can use a strategy, Charge the doll with polarity and give it two hit (this will depend a lot on the situation, but in hypothetical cases) and from the beginning he will manage to have almost his load of presence and the rest of your team with fraction blows. Many possibilities.

Clerk is pretty strong against everyone, because she affects everything in the game. Windows, attacks, pallets, ciphers, and etc.

imo, it’s amplified by the fact that Helena needs EVERY tool in the area to kite decent.

It's not related to the video, but sometimes, for having played the forward and the batter, I have the impression that the batter is better in every way, but everyone says that the forward is better. I don't understand x)
Forward is better than batter because of his flexibility, forward can do long stuns create a lot of distance with his ball and mainly harass even if there are walls in front of him etc, batter used to be VERY strong, but he got nerfed so much that you have to be very good at him to get value, he needs a clear line of sight otherwise he isnt able to support, thats why nearly everyone conciders forward better :)

Batter needs to be really close to the hunter to get the rescue and the stun is much shorter (or in some cases no stun at all). Forward can be riskier if you miss but is much stronger when it comes to securing a strong balloon rescue! (I think)
Antiquarian is pretty good on Guard 26 Its Because she can destroy the bombs that guard 26 put to camp the chaired survivor
But clerk can just keep pressing the record button and see the record thing above the explorer head

For clerk. Magician also counters her bc with 3 wands he can completely negate clerk abilities

I think I'd put Clerk as good against Mechanic instead of weak against Mechanic, because Mechanic really suffers from Clerk being able to record her bot while Mechanic is distracted decoding her own cipher

i think mech strong against hermit because she can share damage with her doll 4 times
which mean first kiter stay long and if she and her team share damage together she never get decode debuff because share damage will count as chips
and she can heal herself with doll & rescue with doll if doll have Polarity i think?
the doll also has polarity and it can actually be an advantage as well as a huge disadvantage, since if Hermit finds the doll first he can use a strategy, Charge the doll with polarity and give it two hit (this will depend a lot on the situation, but in hypothetical cases) and from the beginning he will manage to have almost his load of presence and the rest of your team with fraction blows. Many possibilities.
