- Devin's 2013 Focus ST is the model of a well-rounded car. It's not heavily modified in any one direction, but all the bases- handling, power, and aesthetic appeal- have been touched on, quite tastefully.
With a pop, crackle, and loud turbo spool, Devin's car is the answer to anyone who says that front-wheel-drive can't be fun, or who thinks Ford only makes muscle.

4 years after seeing this video I finally bought a 2017 ST. I love it.

I bought one of these a couple months ago. After liking lots of pics on Instagram, Devin's page showed up. He's one of the few I follow for ST stuff and has to be about my favorite one there is. Glad this car got to be featured. Total beast

My favorite color for the ST!
This ST looks so good! even straight out the box this car looks good in every color just like the new Mustang or an Evo X, but this color with wheel setup is stunning. As always, Great review keep it up!

You should go big turbo man. As long as your under 350 whp it's fairly reliable.
+FusionEcoboostFan I'll think about doing that I know at that power level I'll have to look at aux fueling and idk if I want to explore that quite yet, if I get bored of this power I might go up in turbo sizes but I'm thinking of buying a project beater to dump my money into and keep this as a daily
Project beaters will cost you more I bet and are always a headache. My friend has a project car rsx and he just had to redo all the wiring. All the focus st need is like 300-350 whp at the top with a minor turbo upgrade. That power level does not require aux fuel either. Aux fuel is for 350 + whp.
+FusionEcoboostFan it's not the headache I'm worried about it's that the focus is my only car so putting all my energy and money into that for 350whp the possibilities of running into issues is great than leaving it how it is investing into another car that I could careless about and just to my thing with and not have to worry if that breaks down because I have another car to drive

Giving you guys a like for the music. Most car videos are great for the videos themselves but also the music selection because cruising around our cars with good music is half the fun.
I looked at the ST when it came out. Waited a year longer and bought a Kia Forte5 SX instead. It's down on power stock and doesn't handle as well but quite a few grand cheaper and I'll throw some mods on it eventually.

I just bought a 14 FoST with 34k miles! This thing handles nuts! Mega fast enough for the street. The close ratio steering box and grip levels with the summer F1's makes it feel like a racecar. This guy said "disconnected feeling in the steering." No way. Mega sensitive but a lot of direct feed back. Flat, no body roll... and 6th gear roll on speed is endless. Glad I got this car!!!

I just bought a 2016 Focus ST in Kona Blue about a month and a half ago. It replaced my 2008 F-150, which I gave to my son, as my daily but I have a problem. I also have a 2015 Roush Eco Mustang in Comp Orange. My problem is I am having waaay more fun driving the St. It's simply unbelievable how much fun to drive the ST really is. Like the guys in the video mentioned, the power delivery is amazing in the ST and the handling is incredible. It's almost like it's on a rail.
Exactly haha. I've dumped a couple thousand in my Roush to the point where it embarrasses a stock GT and now I am wondering what my ST is capable of with some mods lol :)
trust me i live this life every day with a Focus ST and a modded Roush converted 2016 Mustang GTPP. The ST isn't as fast, but is every bit as fun to drive, and in some ways more fun, because it's not expected to be a big powerhouse.

The ST is a really fun car. It’s not for D measuring. it’s a really fun commuter and back road ripper.

Jonathan Chinchilla stage 3 would be everything that 1 and 2 are plus more. So no, you could go straight to 3.

If you are tempted to get yourself an EVO, you shouldn't, but I would like it more if it would be a sedan because it's perfect or a Outer Banks J.D / Pope to drive. It's a car to be obsessed with which is in a price range and not slower than super cars.

Torque steer is unavoidable in fwd cars, an lsd helps a lot but otherwise theres not much you can do.

I was deciding between a wrx and focus st.🤔 I can get a focus st for around 15k and do a lot of mods to it. The wrx would be a slow process for upgrading it but idk someone should help me decide.

I really wish Ford would of the done what Subaru does where the St instead of fwd it's awd. I know the rs exists but that's just overkill.
It doesn't really need awd, to be honest. I expect a lot of wheel hop and tire spin but even with all seasons and 330wtq it stuck.
+Gears and Gasoline Fwd isn't a bad platform but it's not awd. I live in mainland Canada where awd or 4wd is a big convenience. the St is a hell of a deal but just wish it had that awd option atleast.

+Borntokirune The ST wasn't really made for those situations. With any car you'll have compromises and there are plenty of other options for that sort of practicality but this car was made to be fun and I haven't driven the ST but I could tell even in base model that, that chassis is one of the most playful and neutrally balanced fwd chassis since, at least, the dc2.
Check out the new Ford Focus RS coming to the US this fall. 350hp...awd.
I hate painted tire lettering on street cars. Just drives me crazy and I think it looks cheap and its such a dumb trend imo. Clean ass car though and I love the passion.
