Cool fact about the movie. During filming, Van Damme had an idea for Bolo to reference their Bloodsport fight with his 'roundabout' finger gesture. They wanted to make it seem like it was Chong Li still pissed off for how he lost the fight and that that his spin kicks won't work again.
Hell yeah! He's 70 years old and he still can beat anyone. And actually he wasn't Bruce Lee's student, he met him in a commercial shoot, and became friends and as friends they learn so much of each other before Lee died. And remember that even so, Bolo builded Brandon's Lee body for a movie.

Sadly to mention, we are prevented to see his fight with Bruce Lee in any movies thereafter due to untimely demise of Bruce Lee. Anyhow, Bolo is powerful artist in his field.

I've said this for years: Double Impact is the closest equivalent we currently have to a proper Double Dragon movie. Van Damme is the Lee brothers and Bolo is Abobo.
