Is it weird that I feel like the musical would be better if Micheal was in Christine’s place? Like, Jeremy can still have a crush on her, but Micheal gets squipped at the end and Jeremy saves Micheal? I dunno if I’m just boyf riends trash but it feels more powerful than Christine? I feel like Micheal and Jeremy have more connection, which makes a more impactful redemption for Jeremy.
Nah I feel that Christiane rarely showed interest in Jeremy while Micheal seems he would die without him. Thou an rewrite of this play would be Micheal as the protag wanting to get Jeremy's attention as more than his friend, taking a squip and being told it's easy to get Jeremy but the twist is that Jeremy already has a squip. Once he sees the negative effect that has on Jeremy and how it only cares about controlling everyone else around them Michael will try to get his friend back and save the whole school despite him being the one who started this.
There's probably a flaw within my take but that's just how I see it
