Hello everyone! After a lot of thinking I wanted to announce something that I guess was already obvious. I won't make other bmc animatics. I had already lost interest a long time ago, like, way way back when I got a lot of negative attention (which, to be fair, I could have handled better but- eh 🤷♀ I was inexperienced about the ways of the internet, what's done is done) Still I kept going even if at that point the project wasn't fun anymore but I kind of wanted to make it out of spite (and that's bad). Though I still like the show I won't continue drawing it because at this point I only link it to bad emotions. Even though it would have been super cool to make a full musical in animatics, I should have known what would mean to tackle such a insanely big project by myself! I already spoke about this with the person who initially commissioned me to keep doing the animatics (who has always been extremely kind and supportive to me 🙇♀ Thank you, Dove!) It's kinda sad to admit defeat after all this time but it's also a great weight off my shoulders that I kept for literally no reason. My mental health reached a loooow point lately for other reasons (hence you may have noticed my lack of any post anywhere, though I admit I've never been that much active on socials hah) so I'm cutting negative stuff where I can and try to start with a clean slate. Thank you for the few of you that still follows and enjoys what I do and to the people that messaged me to cheer me up when they noticed I wasn't posting anymore! I'll leave the last animatic I did for bmc on youtube, it's not polished and unfinished. People on patreon already saw it but I wanted to make it public, being the last one. That being said, I hope you'll keep following for my personal stuff! I'll start posting again on instagram and from time to time I'll make random animatics too. Again, thank you for your support!!

Not going to lie, this broke my heart so bad. Your animations were really important and dearly to me, and seen now that you're gonna quit really hurts me. I want to say even though this is "unfinished", I LOVE seeing the rougher pages and their various levels of quality. It shows jsut how much goes into your animatics and watching this last video of yours alone taught me so much about what goes into making these.I hope you continue making animation, animatics, but of things that inspire you and fuel your passions, you are incredibly skilled and will go far!
honestly it somehow didnt occur to me that animatics are meant to be way rougher at first just to get the frames and movements down and arent meant to be perfect drawings at first so i second this!

I've to admit I screamed when the notification popped in my screen. I was so excited to finally watch a new animatic, wanting to see how you imagined everything. Then, after enjoy all the video (even if it's unfinished, I loved every second of it and your concepts of the scenes), I realized that this is the last animatic you're giving us of BMC, so... Man, if I were some weird, crazy billionaire, I would spend that money to pay you, and other animators a lot of money to get basically a full on animated movie of this, I freaking love your art style and how it’s cartoony but they all look different, it’s amazing that you got this far on your own, I can’t help but think how much more amazing this would be if you had a whole team of animators, and more money to back this project
You have been one of my favorite animators ever since I stumbled upon your BMC animatics. Your art has inspired me so much- the way you capture a character's entire personality, the perspective and fluidity in your animation, the exaggerated poses and expressions- it's all just so amazing and awe inspiring. Every time you uploaded a video I would immediately stop what I was doing to watch it. It didn't matter if it was 8 seconds or 8 minutes, I'd watch it over and over, pausing it constantly to marvel at your art. I screenshotted so many frames of your 'More Than Survive' animatic to use as references. In fact, when I first started drawing, your art was one of the first styles I tried to imitate. When people asked who my favorite artists or biggest inspirations for my art were, I'd always mention you. What I'm trying to say is, you have been one of the most influential artists in my journey and I will always support you in any way I can. I'm so sorry you got so burnt out and I completely understand as to why you won't be doing any BMC animatics. I hope your mental health improves and honestly just wish you the best. Whether you'll take a break or start on a new project, I'll always admire you and your talent. I'd love to see what other masterpieces you'll create in the future!! When I was still in high school your animatics and spectacular animation skill inspired me to pursue my studies of animation (even if I didn't know it at the time). My love of animation grew as I learnt about the true work behind it and the artists who poured their soul into their work. Honestly you're the first animator who I think of when I remember who got me into this pursuit in the first place. Which ever path you have planned in the future I hope that what you make is something you love doing and that you follow the road which feels right for you. Wishing you the best and will always be inspired by your work.

This was a wonderful surprise when I opened the app and I’m thankful we still get one last video, I’m sad to see it go but it’s understandable why you can’t continue. I’ve been following this project since 2019 and i checked every now and again for updates. This makes so much sense now! You should know that your BMC series genuinely one of the best animatics/animatic series I’ve ever seen. I didn’t even care for BMC like that, but I love your art!! I would show this to people all the time! I started watching as a sophomore in high school and now I’m a senior in college. I pray that your experience with this does not deter you from continuing to animate. People are buttholes, but especially people who have no idea what it takes to do what you do. It's sad to see the BMC animatic series end, as someone who used to be completely obsessed with musicals. But it is completely valid to let something go if it takes a toll on mental health. Thank you for making these animatics in the first place and I hope you are able to freely post whatever newer works you have planned. Your art quality in general is what made me subscribe in the first place.

Just wanted to say that I LOVE that starting at 1:36 there is a different frame ratio. It's just a minor detail but the way Michael talks about being loosers and them liking retro games. It is so genius actually to change the frame ratio there. Cause 16:9 is a more modern ascpect ration while 4:3 or other more square formats convey a feeling of "retro" and old TVs. It might not have been intentional cause the frames look more of storyboards and ideas than the final thing. But just wanted to let you know or anyone else who might be interested. This is actually a very cool stylistic device to keep in mind. Great work nonetheless!

While I'm sad to them end, as a fellow artist, I completely understand how fast it can be to grow resentment towards your own projects. I've done my fair share of art that was made with pure spite, and I know how emotionally taxing that can be. These animatics will always hold a close place in my heart, because your art is so amazing. But I can't wait to see what next you'll have in store!

your animatics and art style introduced me to BMC, the way you draw all the characters fits their personalities SO well it makes me want a fully animated version, and because of that, you showed me how great of a show it is! Of course I'm sad to see you end the project but what really made it special was how YOU enjoyed it so much! I screenshotted so many frames of your 'More Than Survive' animatic to use as references. In fact, when I first started drawing, your art was one of the first styles I tried to imitate. When people asked who my favorite artists or biggest inspirations for my art were, I'd always mention you. What I'm trying to say is, you have been one of the most influential artists in my journey and I will always support you in any way I can. I'm so sorry you got so burnt out and I completely understand as to why you won't be doing any BMC animatics. I hope your mental health improves and honestly just wish you the best. When I was still in high school your animatics and spectacular animation skill inspired me to pursue my studies of animation (even if I didn't know it at the time). My love of animation grew as I learnt about the true work behind it and the artists who poured their soul into their work. Honestly you're the first animator who I think of when I remember who got me into this pursuit in the first place. Which ever path you have planned in the future I hope that what you make is something you love doing and that you follow the road which feels right for you. Wishing you the best and will always be inspired by your work.

I can’t believe I was watching the start of your BMC animations at 11 years old and now I’m almost an adult😭. I remember the days of all my friends and I gathered around the phone watching your videos. This was a wonderful surprise when I opened the app and I’m thankful we still get one last video, I’m sad to see it go but it’s understandable why you can’t continue. I’ve been following this project since 2019 and i checked every now and again for updates. This makes so much sense now! You should know that your BMC series genuinely one of the best animatics/animatic series I’ve ever seen. I didn’t even care for BMC like that, but I love your art!! I would show this to people all the time! I started watching as a sophomore in high school and now I’m a senior in college. I pray that your experience with this does not deter you from continuing to animate. People are buttholes, but especially people who have no idea what it takes to do what you do. Wishing you the best! Thanks for all that you’ve done. I’ll still keep my notifications for your page on so i really look forward to seeing something from you at some point, even if it’s small

It's sad to see the BMC animatic series end, as someone who used to be completely obsessed with musicals. But it is completely valid to let something go if it takes a toll on mental health. Thank you for making these animatics in the first place and I hope you are able to freely post whatever newer works you have planned. Your art quality in general is what made me subscribe in the first place.

Just wanted to say that I LOVE that starting at 1:36 there is a different frame ratio. It's just a minor detail but the way Michael talks about being loosers and them liking retro games. It is so genius actually to change the frame ratio there. Cause 16:9 is a more modern ascpect ration while 4:3 or other more square formats convey a feeling of "retro" and old TVs. It might not have been intentional cause the frames look more of storyboards and ideas than the final thing. But just wanted to let you know or anyone else who might be interested. This is actually a very cool stylistic device to keep in mind. Great work nonetheless!

Your art (especially your bmc stuff) has inspired me for so many years. While I'm sad to them end, as a fellow artist, I completely understand how fast it can be to grow resentment towards your own projects. I've done my fair share of art that was made with pure spite, and I know how emotionally taxing that can be. These animatics will always hold a close place in my heart, because your art is so amazing. But I can't wait to see what next you'll have in store!

your animatics and art style introduced me to BMC, the way you draw all the characters fits their personalities SO well it makes me want a fully animated version, and because of that, you showed me how great of a show it is! Of course I'm sad to see you end the project but what really made it special was how YOU enjoyed it so much! As an artist myself I understand completely how much of a slog something can become when you lose interest, so don't feel bad about knowing your limits and putting something down when it's time to. With all that being said, I can't wait to see what you do moving forward regardless!
