I use to work in the Warner Brothers Studio Store in the Brea Mall in 2000 just before it got torn out and turned into that Forever 21. Only worked there for 3 months and still was the worst job of my entire life. That "Death Star" fountain has been there for many many years, but they just recently moved its location. Not sure why! I must go check out that 80's store BoxLunch though! It looked awesome! I looked it up and it seems like your kinda place after reading their mission, check it out: "BoxLunch is a gift and novelty retailer with a cause. For every $10 spent, a meal is donated to a person in need. Get Some. Give Back." Nice!

I've thought those looked like deathstars for YEARS. I love that fountain. EDIT: Also, I recently took a drive through a little community in Chino Hills called "Sleepy Hollow." Despite it's name, it's not spooky at all, but it is very interesting. A lot of closely packed homes with a TON of character. It reminds me of a mountain town, and it easy has one of the most distinct vibes of any part of southern california that I've ever experienced. Not sure if it's video material, as there's no real good place top stop there (very narrow roads) but I figured you still might find it fun to drive through.
and you can reseal the bottle so you don't have to drink it all in one sitting. Awesome gift, we have "Return of the Jedi" on the DVD player right now. You two make an awesome couple!

Wow! I'm learning a lot more about my business partner. I just asked him where he went to school, thinking it might have been Brookhurst Jr. High, since he lived just off of Brookhurst. Whenever we visit his old neighborhood, we go to that In-N-Out. Anyhow, it turns out he went to Ball Jr. High. I didn't know he went to school that close to Disneyland! He appears prominently in the videos from the Puente Hills meetup last month.
Justin I would watch the helk out of a series where you drive around Anaheim and tell stories from your youth! I just watched Adam The Woo's video from his childhood hometown and it was fascinating getting lost in the nostalgia of someone else!
