I remember myself reading "The City and the Stars" by Arthur Clarke, while listening to then just released "Human's Lib" album. I was something like 16 and that music and that book remain with me till this day. Additional HUGE surprise is that only now I have learned about Nick Beggs, who seems to be someone of "Tony Levin bis" with his bass artisanship.
Such a tune. Love the way Howard tweaks it over the years, still sounds fresh.
The best howard
An absolute gem!
Beggs is one of the sickest bassist ever……..EVER !
Classic song and soundbeat, It was unique in 1983 and fits in with todays techy sound's 😊

Love the monster lurking on the stage with the Bass :) I see you Beggs! One of my favorite bass players, ever.
Cool to see Howard and crew keeping the 80's alive and kicking! 😁
This is absolutely amazing...so much life for techy music 🎶

It just occurred to me that New Song and Nick's first hit Too Shy were both on the first ever Now That's What I Call Music album.
Recently rediscovered 80's music along with this song (although I would have hated it when it came out originally).
Brilliant
