"Every time you sneeze, there is an Alice doll" LOL! Too funny! Thank you for doing this video and I love the tip about figuring out what kind of "attitude" you relate to when picking your first doll. Mine was Violetta and she is still one of my favorites (the purple hair calls to me). Greatly informative! I'll make sure to direct others to this video when they ask about Pullip dolls.
Found Pullips too late. I instantly fell in love with Pere Noel when I saw this video over a year ago. Her price is sadly unobtainable for me, but I've come to love many a Pullips just as much as her! It really is dangerous to buy just one! My shelves in my bedroom are starting to prove that :O Great video!
+Rin Kagamine there is this person on Etsy who can make you a full on custom doll for 350. and it's awesome because she is extremely talented.Just look for custom doll included on Etsy you'll might find her.
Tiphona was my first Pullip. I originally wanted to get Chill, but after some research, I decided to stick to a Type 4 body. I was torn between Tiphona and Bonita, but Bonita was a little more expensive. Tiphona is so beautiful in person, photos just don't do her any justice!
That Pullip Aurora is just so beautiful! My first Pullip was Sailor Venus, I got her as a Valentine's present to myself, and I still have not enough words to explain how much I love her! I'm not a big Pullip doll collector, but she and the other Sailor Scouts look fantastic on display. Thanks for the nice video, you have a big fan of yours right here! ^^
Beautiful collection! So far I have 5 pullips 💜 My first one was Nanachan kitty 🐱 She’s still my favorite, but I love them all. I collect t other types of dolls too... Blythe, vintage Barbie, EAH,MH and Shibujuku girls💜 I’m an Adult Woman and I’ve always loved dolls!
My first Pullip was Alice du Jardin mint version! I was so in love with her when I first saw pictures of her online and once I actually got her, I was in awe over how beautiful she was! I loved that she was such a unique take on Alice, with her hair color and her outfit not really resembling the iconic look that is normally associated with Alice, but she still had a whimsical and sweet look to her that still made her feel like an Alice, if that makes sense. ^-^ Anyway, she's the doll that got me hooked on collecting!
My first Pullip doll was Merl nostalgia, I adore her hair and outfit soo much, I changed the chips to be brown and i'm thinking about changing the wig also :)
My first Pullip was Classical Alice. I was in love with her smoky eye makeup and thought she would look lovely customised with eye chips and wig. She arrived and was so gorgeous I left her in full stock outfit, wig, and eyes!
My first pullip doll was Merl. As said, it's wonderful that almost all clothes look great on her. I really recommend buying her if you're not sure which one you want. She will be worth it
don't know if you got one yet, but I personally saved up over 6 months and I always purchased my dolls at pullipstyle.com as it's cheaper there :) the shipping is cheaper depending on your area too. I live in canada and it's about 22$ of shipping
I bought my first doll, a Pullip Merl Nostalgia, at Comic Con Chile and I've re-chipped and re-wigged her since then. Now, after watching this video, I bought a Pullip Bloody Red Hood. Thank you for reminding me she exists!
late joining the party but my first Pullip doll is Alice du Jardin Mint version. I couldn't get over her unique take on Alice in wonderland. I found her from Pullipworld Belgium and bought her :)
5:30 this moment got me anxious XD you've a wonderful collection of doll, all so beautiful! I've been wanting the model bloody red hood since years! The day where I'll buy her I'll cry like a baby for sure! I love your channel! :3
I really agree when you said it's good to choose a doll based on your personality, what you like, and what's your style. It's important to get the doll YOU like instead of getting a doll that everybody likes( it's not bad if you get a doll that everybody likes but you shouldn't feel pressured to get that certain one)
My first Pullip doll was Nana-Chan and she’s adorable omg 🥰 I dreamed about her for three years and finally got her a week ago. I’m VERY happy for real (even though I'm afraid to touch her curls lol). The next one in my collection will be Miku, but I haven’t decided on the version (most likely it’ll be basic)
My first Pullip was Steampunk Alice. I loved her face and her hair and her punky clothes. I love even more that she changes so beautifully into anything. She is just gorgeous. ❤️❤️❤️
I would love to some day get a Pullip. If I could choose a first one, it would be Callie. She is my absolute favorite out of all the Pullips I have ever seen, and the colors are something I would wear ! Her style is exactly the thing I would wear. And I just love the Paris charm, especially since some day I would love to visit Paris !
My first Pullip was Romantic Alice (blue version.) I ordered her together with Isul Apollo. Thought I have many wonderful Pullip dolls now, these first two have remained the gems of my collection.
Thank you so much for the advice. I would most likely go with Aurora for my first pullip doll. I love everything about her, I'm passionate about red hair dolls and I love that she and I have the same name.
Fantastic overview! I just got my first Pullip and I decided to go all out and splurge on The Fox from the little prince! The minute I saw her I was sold although I have never bought dolls before. Then I saw your review on her (amazing as always!) and I now I can't wait for her to arrive! (I even ordered a glass globe display case for her :))
What a fabulous video idea!!! My first was a make it own Select Melissa doll. She's still on of my favorites! Of course she has a new body but she has such a gorgeous & unusual makeup and eyelid color choice that you can't not love her :)
jpopluvr1000 She's a great first doll and the Select dolls were a nice intro before investing in a more expensive doll. Thanks for the encouragement I appreciate it!
My first Pullips were Princess Ann and Peter Pan, which I ordered days apart. I think they were great choices because I LOVE them, plus they're relatively cheap and unintimidating.
What a lovely collection!! I am dying to get the Snow White doll! Something about her dark her is just so beautifully striking!! My first Pullip was Pullip Hannah! Loved her simple stock, yet very sweet and tasteful beauty!
I love this video! I have been eyeing Snow White as my first Pullip for a long time, that's so cool that she was your first too!! I'm inspired to start saving up for her now. Thanks for the tips
My first pullip doll was the Catwoman doll! I love her so much! Your video was very informtative, and watching it made me ecstatic to own her! Thank you!
Ali Blaire I have to say out of the two pullip dolls that i have the mio kit one that I made (her name is Aiko) might be my favorite, but I love both of them!
I don't have a pullip doll yet. When I was thinking in what doll should be my first, I think in buying the Regeneration Noir. But after some research I decided my first doll will be a custom pullip made by me with a MIO kit ^_^ I am saving money for this now.
Snow White was my first Pullip doll too. My Pullip collection is small since I only buy dolls to represent fairy tales. The order I got them in was: Snow White, Classical Alice, Princess Cinderella, Kore (represents Sleeping Beauty for me), Naah-ato (represents Scheherazade for me), Gretel, Disney's Belle, and Alrescha Pisces (to represent the little mermaid).
This video was wonderful. Even though i already own 2 pullips. I found the information you shared very insightful in helping me to choose which ones i would like to add. I loved your suggestion about asking questions like what fashions and stories you like. Thank you.
Hello Angie! My first doll was Hatsune Miku LOL version. I bought her because she was cute and cheap (where I found her) in 2011. I love her, and I lived so many experiences with this princess. I'm still looking for a real style for her (she changed a lot in 4 years haha) But I won't really recommend her as a first Pullip. Her wig is horribly difficult to take care of and her eyebrows are really hard to make match with a wig. I have Snow White and I'm so happy with her, she is definitely my favorite in my family. I also have Aurora, she is stunning but so difficult to custom. I have Bloody Red Hood and she is my number 1 recommandation for a first Pullip. She is amazing ! Everything suits her, wigs, eyes, clothes... My next Pullip might be Tomoe Mami (my dream Doll, I want her since forever haha) or an Alice, Du jardin or Steampunk !
I'm actually at 12 dolls, 1 Taeyang, 1 Tangkou, 3 Dal and the rest is all Pullip. Marianne is perfect for custom too !She is my second and I love her ! I think we do !^^
Great video! My first doll was Classical Alice blue version, and my second was Miku- I recently ordered the Sepia version C. Alice as well and I am obsessed! Little did I know, another Groove Miku collab just came out and in a panic that I'd miss it, I just ordered her as well as a "Nana-chan" cute kitty themed Pullip. I can't wait! I'm so happy to find your channel :)
My first doll i got when i was very young... I unfortunately dont own her anymore, which is quite sad... I had Aquel and i seriously adored her. I saved up for her for 4-5 months. I was probably around 11 years old. I got rid of her during my teenage years, because i was made fun of with my toys. I should have known better and stayed true to myself. Im going to start collecting again, and im therefore going pick out a new "first doll". Im 20 years old now - soon 21, so you guys can imagine, how long of a time it has been since i started my obsession. Exited to get into it again!
This was a great video, and I'm sure that you will help many people in their choices. My first pullip was Girl with a Pearl Earring, certainly an odd choice, but it worked out well for me because I'm passionate about art. You said something very wise: choose your first doll according to your personality, and you cannot go wrong!
Ah, I love Aurora! She is so different, and steampunk! I am a big fan of steampunk! I like Akemi and Aurora best I think. My first doll was a pullip mio kit doll with fair skin. I gave her green eyes, lots of freckles, thick eyeliner, and a long brown wig.
My first doll was Pullip Merl and though I leave her in her stock outfit, I just think she's beautiful! She still stands out now despite my collection having expanded a bit. XD
My first pullip doll was Princess Serenity which introduced me into the world of pullips, I was just browsing sailor mer on Amazon when I saw her and I waited 2 whole weeks to get her and was going crazy when I found out they have all the other sailor moon scouts too
*~!NeKoS!~* Serenity is gorgeous!! I know how painful that wait can be for a doll. I'm glad Groove decided to release the Sailor Moon scouts because I think it's been a great way to introduce new people to the world of Pullip!
I would like to get more pullip dolls, but I'm stuck between steampunk Aurora and Milk Latte! I do have one pullip doll which is a MIO doll, so I customized ized her myself and did her faceup. Can't wait to get more!
Thanks for doing this video. My friend just told me about these dolls today, and I'm going crazy over them! I've always loved dolls. I hope to have a collection like yours one day! :D
Thank you for the video. I really liked seeing all these girls again. I'm still mulling over Akemi. She looks pretty funky and I adore the fact she has two different eye colours and that lovely two toned wig. My first Pullip was actually inspired by your review. She was Classical Alice Sepia. I've actually rewigged her now and am planning on seeing what she would look like on a Pureneemo body. She has an Emily the Strange vibe going on at the moment.
I had a lot of dolls in mind for my first one, but I could'nt decide which one I wanted the most, so my first one was actually a make it own Pullip and I love my little Girl so much :333
I’m getting very interested in Pullips and would love to buy one, but I know my family would disapprove. When I expressed my desire to buy a BJD a few years ago, they all thought I was crazy and didn’t support it at all. I never did end up with a BJD since they’re really pricy, but Pullips are a little more affordable and so freaking adorable. I think I’m going to wait a couple of years until I’m able to move out, and then get a Pullip!
Gorgeous! I'm getting one for my bday in June! It's a Tinker bell one. She's adorable!🤗it's a smaller Kind but soooo worth it! I recommend people get these dolls. There around 100 or cheaper so...save up maybe?
I really want a Meg Pullip-I'm saving my money and I can't wait! She's so adorable and looks like someone who looks adorable in everything and could be a great companion, since I don't just want to display her. I decided on her from your review :) thanks!
Thank you for the video! My first doll is a Karen... a special choice but she was so perfect to me! Then, I had more "normal" choices, like the cute Kiyomi and the dark Bloody Red Hood, that you mentioned well in your list. Thank you for new ideas! :3
My first Pullip is Pulliphine, I don't know if you remember but my husband got her for me for our wedding anniversary, thanks to your review :) I had a second Pullip, the Vocaloid Luka, but I didn't really bond with her too much and ended up selling her. I also found a few things that I wasn't too happy with about them - they are hard to put on a stand, their bodies (as well as clothing) are really light and fragile...and those factors made me lose interest in Pullips a little bit. But watching this video rekindled my interest in them. It's great seeing the variety of different looks and styles that suits different tastes. And now Classical Alice is on my wishlist - I'm a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland and the detail on that doll is incredible! Your passion with Pullips is contagious - I find myself wanting to get one whenever I watch your videos xD
+lonelymiracle Wow thanks for the kind words. I do remember your sweet husband getting you Pullipine. One of my least favorite things about Pullips is the "feet sweeping forward on the stand" thing. Hahaha... They definitely take some patience! :)
This actually really helped me about a year ago when I was getting one. In the end I went with Akemi I’m really happy with my choice I’m thinking about getting a second if I can afford it.
My first Pullip was Rozen Maiden Suiseiseki (2007). I was a huge fan of Rozen Maiden and her face up is amazing so I had to get her and I have no regrets.
My favorite would be bloody red hood and aurora😍😍but my first doll is pullip ally cuz she is cheap and neat and her face up is so pretty. I think I would definitely get bloody red hood and aurora some day. My other dolls are pullip Karen and isul milk tea. I love them either.
Oh yeah, I agree with you...Aurora IS breathtaking indeed. As I opened the shipping box and take her out.... I thought I would die!!! I collect dolls for more than 20 years, I have REALLY seen a lot dolls, from antique porcelain dolls which costs more than a new car to amazing OOAK-artist dolls, I made dolls myself and I thought Pullips are nothing but a funny thing to play around a little bit and didn't expected too much. I failed!!!! They are SO BEAUTIFUL... Like magic!! They just blew me away!!!! Now I try to sell some of my other dolls because I WANT MORE!!!!! But I try not to go totally crazy. I made the experience myself that if I buy too much, they loose their magic somehow!!! But as you said...It's SO hard to choose!!! I already made a wishlist :-). And yes, I plan to buy Bloody too. I think the main reasons for this are her adorable shoes!! I have nearly the same for myself and love them. The next one will be Akemi!! But she also need one or two girls for company;-). There are a lot of older dolls which I like to have but I don't know if I'm able to find them, especially with box. This is the thing that I am really unsure about.. the box!! I am not sure if I should open their boxes... I know it is common to open the box but I really don't know if I should do. I LOVE like they look in the box...totally new and it is so sad to "destroy" the beautiful boxes. Groove should think about a box in which you can put the dolls out and back without destroying something. And what about the value??? How much value will a doll loose? And, apart from this do you think that it's possible to find older ones which are still in box?? (I am totally in love with Mir). Maybe you can tell me what you think about this...
My first Pullip was Dilettante and the choice was easy for me because I just taught she was the most beautiful of all Pullips. Of course I now think there's so much other really beautiful Pullips but I still think she was a perfect first doll for me. And thank you for this amazing video, I'm sure it will help me in the future. :3 Sorry my bad English :D
My first doll was the Rozen Maiden Traumend Suiseiseki. I was reading the manga at the time and found her character very endearing. Once I had her, I fell in love with her intricate stock outfit and I love her two tone eyes. She wasn't the best first doll, though, because her wig was really high maintenance. But I have 7 dolls now and she's still my favorite.
adelaiadedee That is a great story! I still have a special place in my heart for Snow White, because there is always a story about how you decided on your first doll.
I have 10 american girl dolls all in good shape and I love them to death but I want a doll that is not to be so played with and I love pullip dolls but I think my mom would kill me if I had as much as you and to add the 10 other dolls 😅
I’m hopefully getting my first Pullip for Christmas and she is a decent price for a pullip so I’m hoping I can get her because I’ve always wanted a pullip and I’m trying to watch a bunch of like “how to care for your pullip” stuff like that lol
First Pullip is Rche and she is stunning. I also do love Merl and would love to get her. I only have Rche right now. My daughter is dying to have one of these dolls.
"Every time you sneeze, there is an Alice doll"
LOL! Too funny!
Thank you for doing this video and I love the tip about figuring out what kind of "attitude" you relate to when picking your first doll. Tiphona was my first Pullip. I originally wanted to get Chill, but after some research, I decided to stick to a Type 4 body. I was torn between Tiphona and Bonita, but Bonita was a little more expensive. Tiphona is so beautiful in person, photos just don't do her any justice!

My first doll was a Taeyang Lead - and I got him almost 5 years ago now. I now have 30 dolls, and Mint ADJ was my 11th doll, and BRH was my 10th.
I really agree when you said it's good to choose a doll based on your personality, what you like, and what's your style. Violetta is unique! I'd definitely choose her as my first Pullip as well as Aurora steampunk ! So beautiful!
the darkery/creepy/halloween pullips
Arwen Dream I think that's marvelous! You may like Seila or Wilhemina!
My first Pullip doll was Nana-Chan and she’s adorable omg 🥰

After watching this and other of your Pullip videos, I decided my first doll would be the Classic Alice. The videos are very helpful. Thanks so much.
I love your dolls! I think they are all beautiful!
My first Pullips were Princess Ann and Peter Pan, which I ordered days apart. I think they were great choices because I LOVE them, plus they're relatively cheap and unintimidating.

Ali Blaire I have to say out of the two pullip dolls that i have the mio kit one that I made (her name is Aiko) might be my favorite, but I love both of them!
i just placed my order for the Byul Pollon doll. I can not wait to get her and feel the material of her dress and her wig! She will be my first!
My first was Little Dormouse, love her dark teal hair with purple eyes. First regular Pullip was Lupinus. Couldn't go past those amazing eyes.
I don't have a pullip doll yet. When I was thinking in what doll should be my first, I think in buying the Regeneration Noir. But after some research I decided my first doll will be a custom pullip made by me with a MIO kit ^_^ I am saving money for this now.

Hello Angie!
My first doll was Hatsune Miku LOL version. I bought her because she was cute and cheap (where I found her) in 2011.
I love her, and I lived so many experiences with this princess. I'm still looking for a real style for her (she changed a lot in 4 years haha)
But I won't really recommend her as a first Pullip.
You have a collection that seemed to grow like mine! We have very similar tastes!
I'm actually at 12 dolls, 1 Taeyang, 1 Tangkou, 3 Dal and the rest is all Pullip.
Marianne is perfect for custom too !She is my second and I love her !
I think we do !^^
Helena Fair i am at 20 dolls
My first Pullip....Classical Alice. No regrets! I adore her. 😊

my first pullip was Akemi she is adorable and she comes with a cute jumper and her eye shadow is like the best!
My first was Zuora, love at first sight. I never found a doll who i resonate more with.
I love your dolls! Pullip dolls are so fab!
I looked up Pullip dolls and I totally fell in love with the November 2013 release named Hino and OMG she is sooooo beautiful!😍
Beatriz Bertini Knowing you now, Girl with a Pearl Earring is a perfect first Pullip for you. And because of you I had to have her myself!
I've decided that I want my first pullip doll to be snow white. I've totally fell in love with her. so I can't wait til I get paid to ordered her.
mym mom dressed me up as disney snow white for Halloween when i was a baby
Yay i just ordered Alice du Jardin! She was in the dent box but a little stitching will fix everything :)
I always feel like Alice Sepia has more potential! I'm curious to see what you've done with her!
Omocha Crush I have a photo of her here: www.flickr.com/photos/thehiddenattic/19216896200/
I just ordered my first doll today and it’s nanachan she’s so beautiful and she looks like an angel
I just found your channel tonight and I am in love! My first Pullip was Lunatic Queen and Dal Ciel Robin
+Claire McGuire Awesome! Meg is so so cute!
My first Pullip was Romantic Alice. I love her so much.
My first pullip is going to be a custom pullip, but all of them is a wonderful choice
Not a good idea. Are you going to custom he or someone else?
That one in the Red Dress is wearing a fashion called "Lolita fashion" from Japan. She is wearing a print from Angelic pretty.
my first pullip was an alice du jardin pink! i think she’s really cute and even today i still love the “lolita” style dolls
I love pullip dolls! My first one I got was Princess Serenity from Sailor Moon
