Your customs with the light blue dress, the plush, and the dark brown hair are adorable. I'm glad it's not hard starting over. I just got a mocha MIO kit and I've been afraid I'll mess up (bad with a paint brush) but still anxious to try.

I agree wholeheartedly about taking a break. Sometimes it's too stressful and your lines are of and not sure about colors... you have 2 options. Jump in with both feet! Or put it down and step away. Neither option is wrong. PS I LOVE your flower girl, Violet! Don't sell yourself short! Your work is beautiful. One question I have is how do you remove the faceup if you want to try again?

I don't think you save much money making your own dolls, but the best part is that you can pace yourself based on your budget. We are very patient in this hobby, and perhaps you may create the doll but wait for the wig and the clothes. It's a great way to get in the hobby and not break the bank all at once!

+amphibian27 Thank you so much!! I use acetone-free nail polish remover and keep a piece of sand paper ready to smooth and buff.
