- Cold start for the RM250, proper cold, 20 odd months to be precise.
How many kicks will it take, i was surprised.
Mainly starting it to check it still fires up ok as its been so long in preparation for a ride ASAP.

Its a handful for sure, it is a struggle especially as not use to it. Least its fields and tracks with no jumps to get back on the pegs lol

This was the best 250 in 2006, best 2stroke motor they ever produced. Great bike, needs some work but its definitely a keeper and the value has more than doubled in the last year.
Yz 125 are great bikes I had a 2002 once, power delivery is very sharp once in the band. Hope you get 1 that would be good mate 👍

The smell is better lol. Hope its a good vlog but bike does feel alien will take some getting use to compared ebike and pitty. They are all ive rode for 12 months lol.

awesome i buy a 2008 rm 250 last week. is the shorty silencer for bottom power or top end power?
This was on bike when I purchased years ago but I assume its lower end power. This bike is so much much and reliable

Will do 1 time but its not easy to ride compared to my crf250r. I'm alot quicker on the Honda.

How do you find it goes with a gnarly pipe , I had a fatty and I found it lost the bottom end abit and didnt really gain much so I swapped back to the stock pipe and its alot better. Mine is a 06 as well and it pulls from so low down in the rpm. Wonder what it would of been like if they kept developing them
I've always had this pipe on bike, wish I had original. So I can't comment but I feel its got plenty of low down power always amazes me. I only use in the woods/trails and fields. Too much on track for me im use to 4s at track. Its a shame the Japanese manufacturers gave up and left mainly ktm to rule the 2s . This engine i hear was the top dog in its day
Rm's are always so loud in the engine my 2006 always been that way fresh or old lol

I got a few and always changing and experimenting with others. Sur ron here to stay for sure. Hopefully another electric bike soon

I hear lots of people been having to wait, not good for you especially with such a long wait. Glad I got mine 16 months ago when I had a choice then and there to take away even the limited edition rockshox was available. I'm sure it will be worth the wait once you get on those pegs. Glad content been of some use lol show you what you got to look forward to
Would love to get a couple of friends together have one each, make these street legal and rip them through central london 😂

I've had if for 4 years so was reasonable at time compared to what they are selling for now. I can't remember exactly but about 1300
