@ALiteralRottenHusk imo, Punkleton was good but kinda felt unnatural in its verse, and baby smoochles voice is just terrible, ruined the entire verse. I agree with you on blabbit, and yool is the only one I actually like, but it has a really bad design tbh.
@@Legoswampert190 That's actually not the case. When they're at the same volume, it's significantly easier to hear the higher pitches, so lower tones have their volume increased. That's the idea behind the sound pyramid. That's why we can still hear rootitoot during the bridge, even though Sooza is still louder. A lot of songs have bass instruments that are several times louder than the melody, it's just that we pay attention to the melody more because it's at a higher pitch and thus perceive it as being quieter than it actually is.
I haven’t heard the bowhead addition to space island before this update (I was in a period of not playing), but hearing this now is incredible. My biggest issue with Space Island was the repetitiveness, but Bowhead single-handedly fixed that but making other verses differ. Space Island is definitely one of the greats now.

Even then, I always find a monster that’s too loud better than a monster that’s too quiet. You can always just slightly lower the volume of a monster if you think they’re a tick too loud. You can’t increase the volume of a monster without obtaining a second one.
