The two-pack Rey with Samoa Joe WAS a super hero look. He’s actually dressed as Mysterio, specifically the movie version from Spider-Man Far From Home. I love that figure, personally, even if it’s from a match he loses in less than a minute. (It’s also my favorite Samoa Joe figure.)
It's kinda obvious, since his name is Rey MYSTERIO & the domed villain is also named MYSTERIO.
And there names are the exact same. (-The Rey)
In the future I want to get that Halloween Havoc Rey. I always loved that outfit. It reminds me of The Phantom, a deep cut as far as superheroes go.

However, the mohawk masks just don't do it for me. Also, never liked his masks with the straps on the back. I love the traditional Lucha masks like he had in ECW, WCW (Halloween Havoc) and early WWE. But, that's just me. Lol
I wish they could make his Spider-Man inspired attire. One of my all time favs!
My first and only Rey Mysterio figure I had as a kid was the Deluxe Aggression baby blue outfit!! Man that figure meant so much to me especially when I was a fan of wrestling back then, I wish I still had it. Hopefully soon I’ll come across it and buy it for nostalgic memories it brings me, to me that’s the best Rey Mysterio resemblance of him and best era of Rey Mysterio outfits🔥

Hey Kyle, u a fan of the deluxe aggression line? It was one I loved the most bc it was an upgrade from the older figures I had. The rey mysterios from that line all look sick.
I would love it if Mattel took another crack at the Mania 22 outfit as an Ultimate Edition with soft goods like the Jakks version. As many Mysterio figures as they make every year, I can't believe there still isn't an Ultimate Edition Rey in ANY costume.

Rey's best of 2009 (JAKKS) all black is my favorite. Head sculpt is ahead than mattel

I wish they made Rey in the Ultimate edition line, With his classic look that'll be BADASS. Love the Ultimate edition figures
I have a soft spot in my heart for the silhouettes that the Jakks figures cut. Very stylized, but also less realistic in my opinion. Rey's upper body especially always looked way too muscular on the Jakks figures. Mattel definitely has my favorite versions of Rey.

Need Mattel to release a basic Halloween Havoc Rey Mysterio with an accurate mask sculpt so I can swap it onto the elite because it annoys me that Mattel has never made an accurate wcw Rey Mysterio head sculpt

I do the long game ALOT and prices change all the time. I regret it for alot of figures (the Rock and Green Goblin marvel legends)

Why do you keep putting so much emphasis on “your list” if you wanted to be just your list with no critique just keep it to yourself next time. Picking Jakks figures over Mattel figures are so bias and just wrong.
? I’m not sure exactly how it’s biased as it’s my preference. People like yourself think you should dictate what I like is very strange. Picking mattel over Jakks would also be biased by definition 🤦♂️
