is it supposed to fill in the air bags everyday ? Isn't it suppose to hold the pressure for a couple of days ?

Handy video...any chnace you have one on the height sensor. My c4 grand is stuck on the ground and 3 fault codes are coming up. 1:
Height not been set or determined. 2: compressor relay. 3: rear hight sensor signal or something like that. After reset and attempt to reprogram a changed ecu and air pipes still same things come up eventually any ideas would be really grateful. I do have a pic of actual fault codes.

Hello, if I change this entire part, the compressor with the part with the valves, do I have to do a reprogramming with the lexia suitcase? THANKS

If the entire part is new then yes you need to reprogram. If you use the old ECU on the new compressor ( as shown in the video) then you don't need to reprogram.

I have the problem that the suspension sinks EVERY time I park and leave the car.. but once I start it up (in the morning typically) it pumps itself back up again. This is driving me mad now. The compressor obviously works as sometimes it will suddenly start up an hour or so after using the car. Any ideas why this should do this please?

Leakage in the system. You should get it fixed very quickly, because the pump probably works overtimes because of the leakage, so it will wear it out pretty fast.

@@gentle285 wish I had seen this sooner my suspension has just failed, no noise coming from the compressor at all now, some mornings the suspension would be right down and other times it would be OK just thought it was a quirk of the vehicle!

nigel lowe a very expensive quirk to say the least we have nearly changed all the components and nothing helped its stuck down on the ground just the compressor left to do.

I know this comment is old but this may help someone else searching for the answer as I was. In the video he uses the old ECU so you don't need to reprogram. Really easy to do and worked for me.

Hola mi coche tiene ese problema se cae del todo cuando lleva mucho tiempo parado y aveces no sube ya le cambie los dos fuelles neumáticos y no es el problema de ahí le lleve al mecánico y dice q puede del compresor que q se quede abierta una válvula y me dijo q me vale 1100€😱😱 de donde se puede comprar la pieza q lo cambio gracias y eres un fenemeno saludos

I’ve got two c5 estates for sale a hdi and a hpi mot just ran out spent a lot of money on the hpi c5. The hdi has a gearbox fault (auto drives so far then shuts down spare box in boot) if there of any use please message me there going on eBay shortly
