People forget, Persians were one of the earliest multiple national, multi ethnic, multi religious empire. They spanned three continents. They were mainly respected by their subjects. They lasted for over 200 years. Their generals diplomats, satraos and leaders include Greeks, Scythians, Phyrgians, Ionians, Egyptians, Assyrians, Hebrews, Medes, Babylonians, Sogdians, Indians, Afghans, Armenians, and they established the silk road. That's pretty impressive for a society that emerged on dry plateue in 500s BC.

@@FortressofLugh you did the hard work, so thank you. i just found your channel and i will have so much fun learning from your videos. i just hope more people could watch these documentaries (specially people from western countries) and learn and understand that every Empire, does not matter how big and strong, it will eventually perish in the history and new empires will rise. we all live in a very short time slot within thousands of years of History and mostly people think that it has been always this way, as they observe it in their own life time. people always fought for land, glory, power, money,... throughout the history and maybe they heard about it in a form of story or legend from their elders. Maybe winning a war against neighboring country was glorious, made them proud but it was a disaster for the neighbor and of course one day, the neighbor decides an revenge. they have their own stories. Wars never brought happiness at the end but just disaster.
Now with globalization, technology and digital documentation, it is not anymore only a story or a legend, it is documented fact. we can actually learn from the past and don't make the same mistakes again. it is important to understand, that war Heros on this side are ruthless murderers on the other side. who is called the enemy on this side is freedom fighter on the other side. when people are on the winning side for a long time(Human life scale), self-righteousness will grow in them eventually and this will result in hypocrisy and racism.
At this time of history we are living in, the western countries are on the winning side for a long time and that is the reason why i emphasized more on western people. they probably don't know that their leaders are imposing wars and sanctions against many other nations. ruining millions of peoples life. No doubt about everyone responsibility when it comes peace, still people in power are even more responsible. just like good parents for their kids. hitting them will not solve the problem. Only with Knowledge about the past we can stop this circle of war, hatred, racism,...
That is why honest historians like you are very essential for our current and newer generations. so thank you again for your hard work. cheers!

The history of Iran is completely fake, what we read in history is based on non-historical facts, the name Ariana (Iran Vijeh) in Sanskrit comes from ancient Afghanistan, if you visit that whole area, you will see the historical monument that belongs to it. . Ancient times long before Iran exists today, the name of Iran existed after 1935 before that geography called Pars (Persia), the name of Iran is an ancient name stolen from Afghanistan.

i used to be a cashier here in the United States. One night i served a group of college-aged Persian girls who I heard speaking Farsi. I asked them if it was Farsi, they said it was, and just to strike up an interesting discussion i mentioned that English and Farsi have an ancient connection and common ancestry. This drastically confused the one of them who then adamantly denied it. I tried to explain further, but she was NOT having it. so i just left it there. it's sad how many people don't know their ancient roots.

@@tamimmusafer2277 Dear friend, the last thing your country needs is chauvinism.
I invite you to come to Iran and see the 3rd-century Sassanian rock carving of Naqsh-e Rostam for yourself. There, the first and second emperors of the Sassanian dynasty (who controlled Afghanistan for two centuries), call their domains _Iranshahr,_ or "The Empire of Iran." They call themselves kings of Iranians.
Afghanistan and what is today the country of Iran were both included in the geography of Iran. Iranian (Aryan) people inhabited both our lands. There's no need to fight over who the real Aryans are, or which country is the real Iran, since we're *both* Iranians. We are the one and the same people.

Look even if you don't like Islam. If you look at Iran's power relative to their time, the Islamic Republic of Iran is the strongest in the region; this hasn't been the case since the pre-Islamic Iranian empires times; currently, Iran ranks even above Turkey. If you include Iranian Shia allies, but the dominant power in the region will soon be decided and the castle Islamic Republic has built for the past 45 years will be tested.

@jasser6470 Well, just wait and see the test results in less than 2 months. The Islamic Republic has taken Iranian people hostage, denied our identity, looted our financial and natural resources, and brought our country to the verge of civilizational death. They did similar things to Iraq, Syria, lebonan, and Yamen. Asserting control by devestation is not power. I may agree that they are the most effective terror group in the region but not powerful. Wait and see how they melt away when they are faced with the power of free nation-states or the power of people of Iran.

In the grand scheme of things, i understand that our culture is quite new in comparison to the other ethnic groups you study but I'd really like to see more content out there showing the origins of the Polynesian people. There are a lot of misconceptions out there regarding Polynesians and that's due to the lack of information available to the general population in a form that's easy for them to comprehend.
