@ yes, but the tendency nowadays is to keep them apart even with short turns. Watch the World Cup slalom skiers racing in intense short turns while doing their run. Carving while doing short swings is possible using slalom skis

ストックを微妙に使ってターンのリズム🎵をとっている。これが上手い人のスキー。 ストックをハの字に振ってる人は下手な人。ストックは不要でしょ。ストック無しでウェーデルンはデモンストレーターか神です。

It’s a matter of personal preference. This is my favorite technique. I love the way it feels. It’s not wrong if it makes you feel good.
