These guys make a great product and are EXCELLENT with customer care and responsiveness. I had a cable that was accidentally cut by a 4x12 cab and they sent me a brand new one.

If connection is shrink wrapped, why not pop off the XLR cover completely and show us? Maybe even take the shrink wrap off and show us the solder job.

Hello. I have a full project studio in my basement where I use Pig Hog XLR's absolutely no hum! One day during rainy season basement flooded 2 inches, cables submerged heart sank. 10 grand worth of equipment. Water subsided, waited two days just to make sure? Fired up studio no problems. Bonus they have lifetime replacement for any reason. For anyone I suggest Pig Hog professional quality and results. I paid full retail price, this is not a paid endorcement. This is helping someone the way someone helped me.
    Thank you. John Yates

I can only speak for myself. I bought these cables where i take my bass lessons. And to me its awesome. No hum...no buzz. I bought a fender tweed and a rig ninja and they just didn't cut it for me. Rig ninja started to unscrew at the tips and a lot of buzzing and scratching and the fender hummed like crazy. The pig hog is silent even when my bass is in the stand. I love it. Like i said i can only speak for myself. Peace and love.🎶🎶🎶

Their XLR cables sound better than my embarrassing audioquest high end BS. In a high end audio system. I couldn’t believe it, but it’s true.

Im considering these or "Worlds Best Cables" using the Mogami 2549. Torn, but Pighog is half the price.

It's nice that you like the color pattern. But what about the hardware? Are those Neutriks? If not, how do they compare? Better? Why? Neutriks are the industry standard for cable ends because most others are crap.

Not neutriks but very high quality and I have had no issues a year in.

Right, these ends are crap!! Plastic backshells crumble with no use and leave boot exposed and detached from the end. I have 50+ DMX cables from them, I'd say 12 have this issue and maybe more over time. Also the cable dia is not standard which makes it hard to replace with Neutrik connector, you have to shave some of the insulation down on the cable to seat the tstrain relief properly. I would not buy again!!

But they don't list the capacitance of their cables. I emailed them 3 times asking what the capacitance is and they didn't even give a shit enough to respond to me, and as I said first email no response, sent second and third, it's over 6 months since the first time I contacted them and they just don't care to help a possible customer. And I use a shit ton of cables, I easily would've spent over $300 on cables when all was said and done, so I guess mogami it will be. They at least have the courtesy to respond to questions. I'm sure you guys get responses from them but then you are advertising free advertising for them

Look up the video with 79 patch cables tested here on RUclips. Guy tested Mogami, providences, Rock band, monster, fender, ernies, Ibanez most of the big names, mogami is not worth their insane price. Shredda Riff

Not sure if this helps you now; but I emailed them about the capacitance of their XLR Mic cables and they responded telling me they are 33pF/Ft.

I just received my first Pig-hog cable. It's a 10' female to male headphone extension cable 3.5mm. Rating this cable for overall build and design (10 being excellent and 1 being crap) I'd give my new cable a 2. Very disappointing. The cable itself is excellent, thick, flexible, and quiet. The male and female jacks are crap. Oh....while we're at it, the shipping was superb. Pro packing, got here in under 3 days! So....why does a company make so much effort....yet use the absolute shittiest jacks I've ever seen? I'm going to call the company and find out for myself on Monday. Maybe it's just one of those CIA front companies. All my guitar cables are George L's.....the best on earth. Once one of my George L cable started crackling after over 10 years of hard use. I called them. They sent me a brand new replacement cable. No questions asked.
