This is very moving to me. These people are sensitive to the going connection they have with their unbroken ancestral chain - a chain maintained through the dimensions of time, place, music, caring and heart. If we estimate each generation to be 25 years, then just 40 people connect us to those who lived 1000 years ago...
last song was awesome, lovely singing. drone of the maraca, sound and resonance of the marimba, i especially like the deeper notes. all of it together...magical. puts me in a trance. i know u don't need drugs with this. but if i were to do ayahuasca. the mood and vibes i get from their sincere music would be lovely to carry me into dreamland. u know that weird feeling.. like your in a movie or in a dream. music usually helps with it... kinda interesting isn't it. :D
I am a song bird and work with Madrecita often. I just got the call from Her this weekend''s ceremony to gather my instruments, including the MBIRA!!!!!!!!!!! Its happening......
@ thank you. I love the song that prince is playing… unfortunately before I can get a chance to comprehend the pattern he is using the camera man decides to zoom so far into the lesson that you can’t see what is being played any more. WHYY 😭
A work of art about a work of art. So so beautiful. Thank you mr. Filmmaker, thank all gwenyambira. Love infiniti/nuf respect
Thank you sir. Many thanks for producing and sharing with us this jewel.
Mbira is the finest music in the world. Nothing comes close to its touching sound. I want this to be played at my burial in 60 years.
History and culture is incredible

What is the name of the last song they played in the video?
It is called Karimugomba which in English means The One Who Lives Downhill
@@tinashemapfumo3807 doesn't sound the same. looked up the song
The tune is Bukatiende. Chorussed here "Daidzai machinda anorwa hondo" - but also sung in non-lyrical vocalisation.
