HIT THE BELL & TELL A FRIEND ABOUT ME
#Aerosmith #Rock
Steven Tyler is one of the most legendary front men of rock. He has charisma, he knows how to give a performance, and he’s got the skills… Plus he’s just a cool guy.
I'll never forget the summer of 1984 and 1985 when I lived at Steven Tyler's house on the shore of Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire. Steven wasn't living there at the time but his wife Cyrinda and his daughter Mia did. My college roommate grew up in the same town and knew the Tyler family well. After my roommates parents were both killed in a car crash Stephen and Cyrinda invited him to live at their house while he got over the tragedy. Once upon a time Cyrinda dated John Lennon and David Bowie. She married Steven Tyler. And she attended Keith Moon's wedding. And there I was this scrawny little 19 year old kid hanging out with her, Mia, and my college roommate Brian. Sadly Cyrinda passed away due to a brain tumor several years ago.
When I first started hearing this song,I was moved to tears. What must it be like to have someone love you that much.
Ask Diane Warren, don't ask the guys from Aerosmith. They had nothing to do with this song other than recording it for a big movie that was being promoted at the time. This caused a lot of internal friction in Aerosmith...
I still get chills and goosebumps when I hear this song
THANK YOU FOR WHAT I FEEL TOO!!
Don't allow yourself to go thru this life w/o finding out!!! Go earn what lovers own. It's real.
I was driving my husband Denny to John's Hopkins for a big Cancer procedure. This song came on and we knew we were in our last days together. I was sobbing as I drove and Denny was tightly squeezing my hand. We both were silent just desperately trying to hold back the tears. He passed at the hospital 7 days later as I lay across his chest just to hear him breathing.
Rest easy my baby Denny😭❤......
February 13, 2008.
You know my baby....I will be joining you soon.
Cancer sucks....
I will forever love this song till we are together again.
Sweet Emotion, Angel, Crazy, Cryin', Livin' on the Edge, Dream On. So many Big Ones!
I see what you did with the "big ones" there 👍👍
"Walk This Way", the song Aerosmith did with Run DMC, was an Aerosmith song released in 1975!
He already react to that 1 year ago
@@yezzi4289 And?
@@foots-qt4pk i agree. So many think it was run dmcs song.
I never knew this was written for Celine Dion. She has a beautiful voice, for sure, but I cant' see her doing this song the same justice that Steven Tyler did to it.
Aerosmith has a deep catalog, so if you’re digging the ballads, go with Dream On (stone cold classic), What It Takes, Crying and Amazing.
Have you heard ‚ You see me crying’ or ‚home tonight’ ? If not check it out. 🔥
You forgot Angel
@@angelone1839 yes, mostly forgotten but a rly great ballad!
Also, since LFR is into rap, he will aknowledge the intro of dream on in eminem's "Sing for the moment" song...
@@vtrmrl he reacted to dream on and realized it was referenced in sing for the moment. But it was the live version. Still ok but yeah.
YEEESSS!!! Armageddon is one of my favorite movies of all time!!! I totally think that we should watch this movie in the Hangout for movie night!! Killer song... killer movie!!!
It’s 3+ hours long but it’s a great movie. Ben Affleck & Bruce Willis can do no wrong in my book so I loved every minute of it!!
It's probably be best bad movie ever made lol. And that's not even a diss to it, I love that movie.
My pops was my best friend and my rock. He took care of and supported me my whole life. I was always his baby even into adulthood. When i was 38 he got cancer. We found out it was stage 4 metastasized kidney cancer, so it had already spread thru his whole body especially to his lungs. Doctors said he had 6 months to a year to live. I quit my job and became his full time caregiver. I watched him become weaker with LITERALLY minute and he suffered so much pain and struggled so bad just to breathe because of the size of the tumors in his chest. He was on 18 medications that I had to administer at different times in most cases multiple times a day. He was on oxygen and I had to test his oxygen levels constantly to make sure they didnt drop below a certain level. As the cancer took over his brain he became more and more confused and sometimes didnt know who I was but he always trusted me and knew I was taking care of him. The last movie we watched together before he died was Armageddon. The scene where Liv Tyler has to say goodbye to her dad tore me up and I had to literally jump up and run to the bathroom to cry because I never let him see me cry the entire time I took care of him. It was so hard and I honestly only slept maybe an hour or two a day because I had to constantly watch over him to make sure he was getting enough oxygen and to give him his medication and try to alleviate his pain as much as possible. So the line in the song "I could stay awake just to hear you breathing" hit me so hard because that's EXACTLY what I did. "Every moment spent with you is a moment I treasure, don't want to close my eyes. Dont want to fall asleep cause id miss you baby and I Dont want to miss a thing" feels like it was a line straight from my soul. I didnt want to miss a thing because I knew he was not long for this world. He was given 6-12 months to live but died exactly a month after we found out his diagnosis. The night he died I knew it was happening and I sat with him and because our love of music was always something that we shared i played him his favorite songs. This song was one I played as I held his hand and told him I loved him so so much. It was one of the hardest and saddest moments of my life but I am so grateful I was able to be there with him. This song is not one I can listen to very often but it is one of the most meaningful songs in my life and it made me really happy to see that it touched you on a deeper level. Thank you.
Sorry for your loss, your Dad raised a wonderful person and the world is a better place with you in it. God Bless You 💔❤️🙏🏽
Thank you for sharing your story with us. I'm sorry for your loss. You obviously are a strong and loving person. Your dad would be proud. Lost my dad to cancer as well, when I was 13. We move on with them in our hearts, keeping them with us forever.
Much love and Good vibes,
J3PO, LFR Discord Moderator
This made me cry HARDDDDDDDD. I did not expect it to. I’m so sorry for your loss 💔. He lives in you forever. He’s always with you and I know he knew how much you loved him. Sending you so much love as I type through tears. I think this hits home because I don’t have a relationship with my pops, so when I hear and read stories about women who are daddy’s girl, it just makes me swell up with so many emotions. You’re a wonderful person and I hope you’re doing well in this crazy world we are living in these days ❤️🥹
Maybe it's time to explore this rabbit hole?? Dream On and Sweet Emotion are a couple of there most popular song. They have plenty to choose from. Aerosmith has been around a long tome. They have broke up and got back together, continuing to bring great music. ✌💖🤘
Aerosmith was my Forever 29 year old Daughters favorite group. Which really made her Daddy so proud. She was Married and buried to this song.
Aerosmith didn’t want to record it initially because they write all their own songs, but then when Steven Tyler saw how it was being used in the movie he changed his mind.
Finally! More Aerosmith videos please.
I cried like a baby along with chills. I have the same emotions EVERY time I listen to it. Steven Tyler is AMAZING especially still relevant for decades.❤️
They have so much great music! You sir, don’t want to miss a thing...Explore the Aerosmith catalog. ❤️
When I listen to the some while watching the movie I cry everytime...beautiful
It gives me goosebumps every time i hear it...
Aerosmith is my all-time favorite band. I grew up listening to them, and I was able to cross something off my bucket list when I saw them live in 2004.
Steven Tyler is a freak of nature, in a good way. His vocal abilities are legendary.
I was at the movie theater with my son, who was 14 y/o at that time, watching Armageddon. When my son and I heard the song at the end we decided that this was going to be our song. Ever since then every time we are together and listen to the song it brings a lot of good memories back.
This song was released around the time my sister died. You Made me cry today Van. Great song
Sorry for your loss Andy! May you live a blessed life. I love you brother. Keep on keeping on. Sending you alot of love and light. 😇
Blessings, so sorry for your loss.🌈🙏
I never knew Aerosmith to sing straight up love songs before this came out but I guarantee there was a baby boom when it did. 🔥
I've known this song for more then 10 years. Every time every freaking time it comes on a radio or anywhere I close my eyes. The feelings... it's undescribeable... you just are, that moment you're you, you're everywhere, you're hurting smiling and breaking at the same time...
I cry my eyes out every time I hear this! Brilliant!
Aerosmith is an amazing band and Steven Tyler is an incredible singer. This was my late brother's favorite Aerosmith song. It has always brought me to tears, but it does even more since I lost my brother. Thanks for the reaction! Also if you have never seen the movie Armageddon you really need to. It's a great movie.
The love and emotion in this song will definitely bring you to tears❤ To know that someone could love that deeply.. Maaaaaaaan❤
This was 'our song'. My husband and i loved this song and this movie. I saw Aerosmith 21 years ago. They were awesome! This song holds such a sweet place in my life because my husband got cancer in 06 and passed at 50. 💔 I love your reactions to things. Great channel.
Loved your reaction. This song reached down deep inside me when I first heard this song. It still generates emotion every time I hear it. A good song made great by Steven's unique voice and the emotional energy he brings to it.
"Back in the Saddle" is a banging song by Aerosmith!
The bangingest!
If you want to hear him take it to the heavens, listen to "Dream On"
the video is just as great as the song! Love Aerosmith! incredible vocalist also!
Also if youve never watched the movie the song came from, Armageddon, You're missing out!!
"Family before anything" is what gave you my thumbs up 🤘♥️
First time I heard this song I cried like a baby...
But they were tears of joy...
But every time I hear the song now I still cry out of heartache, because of so much time lost with my children and other family members...
This song is very beautiful and it's so unlike any other Aerosmith song ever...
Steven also does tons of Aerosmith songs on his own with a piano. This is a super emotional part in the movie so it’s emotional!!
Everything Steve Tyler Aerosmith band does is amazing classic rock
Dream On.... Sweet emotions
Anything from 70s Aerosmith is legendary
Remember going to the movie and being blown away . They sang this live at MTV awards or Grammys back then. Aerosmith is a American classic 🔥🔥
first thoughts were Bruce Willis AINT just John Mclain from Die Hard. There was some super story touching shit going on in that movie that touches you deeeeeeeeeep down. Such an emotional song that fit into the movie.
A beautiful song. Years ago when I first heard it I was surprised who was singing it.
First, love your channel! If u want to hear Steven Tyler sing listen to "Dream On", that where he hits the notes! Aerosmith was one of my favorite bands as a teenager, yes I'm 60 now but still love rock!
💖💖💖 *Some of the best love ballads of all time, come from some of the hardest rockers that ever lived!!!* 💖💖💖
New to the channel. Awesome pick of a song. Aerosmith is a long lasting band from the 70's. Even with Steven Taylor being like 100 yaers old he can still kill it on the mic. Cheers my friend. Thank you for all amazing music you bring to us.
YAY!! Your'e safe here xx

This song reminds me of when I was 18 and I visited America with my school football team (soccer) to play a school football competition in California. I’m from the Isle of Man so it was an amazing experience. The family that I stayed with took us to the movies one night to watch Armageddon and this song was being played everywhere. Incredible memories ❤️ love your reactions. Keep them coming 👍
We gotta get him more power ballads, y’all. ❤️
One of the best singers. Everything he sings is great. To see him live is incredible.
I remember the very first time I ever heard this song I was at my uncle's house with my brother and my sister sitting there watching MTV and this video came on Aerosmith is my favorite band and by the time the song was over we all were speechless we cannot believe how beautiful of a song it was
I love Aerosmith, their song Amazing is one of my favorites because of the line life's a journey not a destination. Its kept me going when I thought about giving up
She was Arwen Elvenstar in Lord of the Rings series.
I love how you truly appreciate the music!
Aerosmith is amazing!
I cannot listen to this song without it bringing me to tears That's WITHOUT > the video from the movie.
This song playing in the movie>
SOBBING UNCONTROLLABLY!
Phenomenal song that explodes with emotion!!
Peace and love always!😊❤
This was "our song" with me and my high school girlfriend. Literally every time we were in the car or just had a radio on this song would come on and I would sing it to her. The movie was great, but this song was the embodiment of teenage love for me.
I was around 16 years old, heard this song and prayed I would feel that close to someone one day.
Aerosmith is & always will be my favorite band, But this song is a song that will be loved years from now. Epic song.
This is an amazing song beautify it is is a good m movie too defo go and watch it
I've heard this song a million times but Damn it.... It gets me every time.
They are so awesome in concert. I was lucky to get to see them. Was great to be a teen in the 80's graduated high school in 88
This is a classic! One of the greatest songs ever!
Diane Warren is an epic song writer. You'll be AMAZED by the extent of hits she has written for some of the biggest stars in the world.
This song always choked me up. As a parent of two boys, I found myself trying not to take things for granted and even sometimes staying up nights just watching them sleep. I was and am so grateful and blessed to have them in my life.
This song always hits me hard. It says exactly what I was thinking when both of my sons were born. I literally stayed up sometimes just listening to their breathing over the baby monitor.
1 of my favorite songs ever. The video is amazing but I agree the lyrics alone are amazing.
Aerosmith is one of tiny favorite band. They sounds the same live as they do on cd
I always think of this as a romantic love song. It’s a fantastic song, Aerosmith has so many great hit songs. They are an American band.
Heard this song all through out my life but I still gets chills on the first couple verses. Followed by chills throughout the whole song. Especially that iconic gritty high note #iykyk
Great reaction. 😊Maybe try “Sick as a Dog”.....one of my favorites. ❤️
*"Living on the edge"* Aerosmith
I was in love when i first heard this right here. It still gives me chills
You can’’t go wrong with anything by Aerosmith! There entire catalog is bussin
My late wife used to crank up the CD and we would duet to Aerosmith on road trips those were many happy memories.
Areosmith is awesome! I'm so glad I got to see them in concert 🤘🏻❤
Oh yeah, Steven can sing his butt off!! His voice is iconic in the Rock world!! FUN FACT: Steven's daughter didn't know he was her father until she was a teenager.... she had been raised by and believed Todd Rundgren (also a singer) was her dad.... It's a long story😅🤣 You need check out more of Aerosmith's music. "Dream On" and "Sweet Emotion" are 2 of their HUGE hits from the late 70s'. There's NO WAY you haven't heard at least one of those songs somewhere in your "travels"..... Also, since I mentioned Todd Rundgren, you should check out some of his legendary hits from back in the day.... try "Hello It's Me" or "I Saw The Light".... Loved this reaction Van!!!😎👍
P.S. Any more Mini Van reactions coming?? I miss mini Van!!!🤗😂🤣😁
Been a fan for many years. My favorite song of Aerosmith is "Rag Doll"
Yessir👍My top fave from Aerosmith "AMAZING" ; "ANGEL" and "CRAZY" and this one... Thanks for reacting🙂💫
This song came out when my hubby and I started dating. This song is our song. Even after 12 years, when we dance to this song we get lost in each other.
I could never fully appreciate this song, by this great singer, without having seen the video that goes with it.
Aerosmith - Cryin'
Aerosmith - Amazing
Aerosmith - Crazy
Check these out man
And yes, he had the walk this way song. Then it got so popular that he did the Run DMC collab. It was so freaking fun. Steven Tyler is a legend.
Steven Tyler on talk shows is hilarious. I love when he brings his two small dogs on the talk show. It's pretty funny seeing a 70s rocker with painted nails and two small pups on his lap.
Steven Tyler is amazing.
I also love when his daughter Liv is on talk shows and shares stories about her dad embarrassing her. Pretty funny.
The part in the movie was his daughter and her boyfriend loving each other before he left for the moon to save the world and they wanted to enjoy their last possible moment together on earth. (It might help to watch the actual music video to some of them to help understand some of them, just a suggestion- I know copyright issues but you stop it enough to not infringe 😂)
I was so grateful to get to c them in concert a few years back. He recently had problems with his throat. He sung this a few years ago
One of the greats and favorite groups of all time...👊👍😎
#AEROSMITH🐐
Aerosmith crazy video with Alicia Silverstone, living on the edge video with Edward Furlong from terminator 2. Both great songs made even better by their videos.
I just have to give a shout out to YOU! I subbed halfway through the first video I ever watched. You don’t pause too much or unnecessarily. You truly embrace all types of music, and I love you and your channel for that and SO many more reasons. Big love to you! Oh, and I heard this song for the first time when I watched the movie. (It’s in my top 10. Denzel takes up all the other slots. If you don’t love Denzel movies, there’s something seriously wrong with you! Not you personally. To anyone reading it!) I could not stop crying. Seriously. It gets me every single time.
I'm so happy you picked up on this because this song can be interpreted two different ways it can be interpreted as a love relationship between a couple and a relationship between a father and daughter
Warren has written nine number-one songs and 32 top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Additionally, two of the top 13 hits in the Hot 100's 57-year history were composed by her. Warren's career was jump-started with the success in 1985 of "Rhythm of the Night" by DeBarge. In the late 1980s she joined forces with the UK music company EMI, where she became the first songwriter in the history of Billboard magazine to have seven hits, all by different artists, on the singles chart at the same time, prompting Peter Reichardt, the UK's Chairman of EMI Music Publishing, to call her "the most important songwriter in the world". She has been rated the third most successful female artist in the UK.
Warren has won a Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, three consecutive Billboard Music Awards for Songwriter of the Year, and has been nominated for twelve Academy Awards. She has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her UK success saw her win an Ivor Novello Award from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors when she received the Special International Award in 2008. She controls rights over her music through her publishing company Realsongs.
Dream On is nice too 😌 👌
Van I love this reaction! All your reactions are amazing but you were feeling this one. You da man!
Diane Warren - the Burt Bacharach of the 80s and 90s.
Aerosmith....😍💯 been a fan for over 40 years.
I'm diggin that Bone Thugz shirt Van!!!
This was the song my wife and I danced to at our wedding in 2000!!!
Aerosmith’s music can go from this serious love song, To funny ass music like “PINK”, The video explains why Aerosmith is America’s favorite rock band.
Aerosmith has TONS of HITS! I remember this one made our beautiful Jai cry when y’all did it on y’all’s couple channel- Remember?? Also “Hole in my Soul” and “What it takes.” Soooo good! HITS that are underrated- pleeease do those- I could go on forever about Aerosmith! HITS for decades! 💙✌️
Yessss Love Aerosmith, I think my first intro to them was Dream On, but I will always remember the Mtv video with Run DMC. Also Living on the Edge is a great song by them, one of so many!! :-)
Van you're innocence just makes my heart smile. When you said who is Diane Warren I just about spit out my iced tea. Just do yourself a favor & Google her. You will be amazed at her songwriting accomplishments. Huge Aerosmith fan here & absolutely love this song. Thanks Diane ✌️💜🎶🌼
Great reaction!
Had this as one of my wedding dance songs great tune great memories thank you
My all-time FAVORITE rock band 🤘 You should check out " Cryin' ", " Crazy ", or "Amazing" next!
They also did - come together in the movie they must have redid it for the movie but it was amazing.
The girl in the movie is Steven Tyler the singer of Aerosmith that is his daughter
