- We woke up to conquer Piute Pass without knowing about the scary and sketchy river crossings. Boss Bae and Birdy never made it to camp. Overall a tiring and scary day!

Great job today Boujee after getting such a late start. The soft snow and high water just adds to the stress of being a little tired, overloaded and sore. Thanks for sharing!

Here's a tip that I had learned decades ago about misquotes: One thing I used to do is wash my clothes with Downy the fabric softener and wear those clothes camping. I never got bothered by misquotes. Everyone around me did, but they always left me alone. On one backpacking trip some of our group hiked back out to go to the nearest store to buy Downy dryer sheets. They put the sheets all over their bodies, stuffed them in pockets and in their hats, anywhere they could. The misquotes quit bothering them after that. Something to think about. Downy Dryer Sheets, I swear by them.!!!
