  • The third 50cm+ Mangrove Jack from last season hit with such power it broke my rod in two! While exploring a new creek I came across this beast as well as a mid 40s model and a low 40s cod... All on Zman Trick SwimZ in Green Lantern colour rigged on a TT HeadlockZ 1/6oz 3/0... Hope you enjoy!!!

    They always look bright red when they are in beast mode , then they get the white stripes and then they go white . What a beast of a fish .

      The Brisbane River Boys reckon the petrol trolling motor would make it that far? Also what size fishing rod would you recommend for kayak fishing and where did you get the net your using?

    • @TheBrisbaneRiverBoys
      @TheBrisbaneRiverBoys  7 лет назад

      I usually use 6 foot in the skinny water and go as big as 7 foot in open waters

      Luke's Kayak Fishing Adventures yeah i think i should get a shorter rod when im in tight country today i went for a session in my kayak with a 7foot rod and it was pure Torture! my line keeped getting tangled around my rod tip! it has tought me a lesson now!

    Dude the fish don't snap your rod,i notice that you are like me and have a tendency to high sticking and like me snapped the rod, but what a beautiful fish mate and don't worry i snap a rod that make a reputation for being indestructible and it's snapped like a twig
