The fact that you knew what B-roll is, got me to Subscribe, nice vid man love top water estuary fishing.
Cheers mate! It’s an awesome system for it
So good man! Looks like a fun session
Cheers fellas! So good when they eat lures that hard
Good one mate!
Cheers champ 🙌🏽
Great session JOSH !! WHO'S the Pommy bloke you've got with you ???
He's got potential 😂🤣
He’s a strange fella but good to fish with!
Just found your video josh , awesome fishing . You guys make skip casting look easy . Mind if i ask the make and model of you rod , look great . Cheers .
Cheers Janice! Those zman goatz definitely make the skip casting much easier. The rod is an Edge first strike 703
Awesome video guys..
Cheers mate 🙏🏼
It's amazing that you stand on The Highest Point of the boat, and then BEND down to Cast in under The Overhanging Branches.
Yet we continue to catch fish…. If you stand at a low point then you don’t have the room to skip cast anywhere near as well. Easy to assume the best way to do something when you’re not there
Nice guys!!
Cheers bro!!
⭐
🙏🏼
Not sure what you mean about cracking jack for hinchy there thick up the in the 45+ category. Such an awesome fishery
When all you’ve fished up there before is fly they’re good jacks 😂
Where is hinchy
@@stubbie596 North Queensland mate
Damn I live in wa only catch small herring & blow fish here 🤣
@@stubbie596 😂😂😂
Nice vid. How do you rate that Edge Rod for skip casting?
Thanks mate. Yer it’s great for the frogs, it’s a super versatile rod that one. 703 first strike
Bye Felicia 😂😂😂
👋🏼 😂
Bula from Fiji. Nicely done. I fish a similar setup here. Can you tell me what hooks you’re using?
That little keeper bead is sweet
Thanks mate! The hooks are just a TT chinlocks in a 5/0 or 6/0 but then we push a glow bead over them and it’s acts as a keep for the plastic, works a treat 👌🏼
@@fishinjosh Cheers, thanks! …..Also wondering where you get your Dobyns rods down there, lol. You ship them from USA or is there a dealer in Oz?
@@fijigreen69 I’m lucky enough to have a pro staff deal with the distributors in Aus so get them direct through that but there are plenty of stockists here!
Cracking video mate! what system is this?
Cheers mate! Hinchinbrook channel
nice
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Nice work 💪 what size reel and line would you recommend for estuary jacks? Wanting to try get my first this season. I have a 4-7kg spin rod. Cheers
Thank man! Where are you targeting them? The set up in the video is a 3000 on a 8-14lb (4-7kg) rod with 20lb braid and 40lb leader. I do tend to vary the leader a bit though depending on where I’m fishing, clearer water generally lighter leader
@@fishinjosh Thanks mate that’s helpful. I’ll will be targeting them around the Gold Coast land based. Primarily lure fishing but might try some live baiting. Was tossing up between 3000&4000 size reel. The fishing up your way looks amazing!
what kind of Hooks are they you have attached to the lures? They look pretty thick!!
There a 5/0 TT chinlock mate
@@fishinjosh ah thanks so much mate. Awesome video
@@TheGenkidia no worries at all mate! Thanks for watching
@@fishinjosh of course man. Your video made me Subscribe.
Now I'm just going through all the videos you've ever made.👏🏽🔥🔥👏🏽🤣🤙🏽
🎣 Tight Lines mate🤩
@@TheGenkidia haha how good! Hopefully you liked them man 🙌🏽
What estuary system is this?
Hinchinbrook
@@fishinjosh ok, thank you very much!
Lure???
Zman Billy Goat
Thank you sir
Don't know what your talking for a good jack at hinchinbrook I caught a 67cm jack up the channel
Every system gets 60+ fish but they’re not common
the general size I catch is 43 to 50 pretty much every trip so it might be the different style of fishing
