14' smoker craft rivet boat with trailer for 600 bucks. I can launch anywhere my truck can back up to. We put on a Bimini top and a 6 hp Nissan and get way more usage out of it than some of my buddies with big boats and a fraction of maintenance/registration. Great Vid!
I been fishing off exclusively my inflatable NRS Pike Fishing Kayak all summer and just now bought a small inflatable skiff called the "Savage Gear E-Rider", I think it's all I need for my small river and am excited to get it. Me and my brother are hard core considering one of these little johns though because of your videos for next summer.
To be fair on the charger comparison you used small alligator clips on like 12-16 AWG wire and the 2nd one was likely 8-12 AWG. The thicker the cable, the lower the resistance, thus more power. The bigger the charger (and cables for output) is going to always equal a shorter charging time. That said, I get you are trying to get some affiliate cash too. I appreciate your videos, comparisons and breakdowns on all of them. I am stuck between the Sun Dolphin Jon Boat 12 Camo (currently $599.99 at Tractor Supply and the Bass Pro Shops Prowler 12' that is $699.99 at Bass Pro). I am watching your videos to give me a push one way or the other.
Neither product allows you to change the cable so there's for sure multiple factors at play. Thanks for the comment! Honestly, I wish I could tell you which boat is flat out best but it really depends. I love both my jon boat and prowler for different reasons. What kind of waters will you be fishing?
How do you anchor without any cleats? I have a 12 ft intruder and have a hard time tying off to the rod holders and have been tying off to my portable gas tank to ensure the rope does not slip. Also, I have a 6hp hangkai from ebay. Why not get you something to move in the water? My advise is to get a 4 stroke tho
I’ll be making a video installing cleats very soon. They arrive today. I don’t have a motor because I’m exclusively saltwater and need a name brand outboard and they’re pricey. Also, don’t really need it for most spots. Adds complications. Very happy with trolling motor for now. We have so many ramps I can access every major spot with just trolling motor
Was going to buy a used small boat. The issue I'm having is how do you get a used boat registered without an original receipt and Certificate of Origin?
@AnthonyCastelluci if it's one of these plastic boats, you can to the manufacturer website and download a copy of the certificate of origin. I did that to register my pelican intruder
This will be no problem. If it’s used a NOT previously registered you will likely only need a bill of sale. If it HAS been registered you’ll need a bill of sale as well as a title (depending on what state you’re in) so I’d like up your local laws regarding what you need to register any boat in your state.
Man I really wanna see what you think of the sundolphin 120 pro. Definitely a trailer boat but man I think you’d have a blast doing some mods and taking it out
Bought a fishing rod-holder mounted side-transom and a 4hp gas motor for my 9.5' Kayak. Not 100% sure how to register it as I do not have the receipt or certificate or origin for the kayak anymore. Kind of thinking of a jon boat now, as the 4HP is probably more suited to that larger boat. Live close to a lot of boat ramps here in Pensacola. Want something I can use for wildlife photography. But I'm also thinking I want something to be able to get me to The Pass, (mouth of Pensacola Bay), so I can find hidden surf at either Fort Pickens or For McRee. Kind of thinking the surf-mission boat is a different craft. Maybe for that I need a used Seadoo. I am also seriously considering an inflatable boat from Stryker. Also cant imagine what it feels like to make a boat payment and then not use it for a few months when it's cold. I got approved and it was an easy payment I could handle. But, I can't get over paying for it when it's not used a lot like my truck.
Give me a 300 hp Rock Proof jet boat on the river going 45 mph over ankle deep water, logs and rocks and I would finally be at peace. Already got a peddle kayak and one with trolling motor. But you do you.
If you’re young like me and don’t have a lot of money this is definitely the way to go. My best friend bought a used bass boat and that thing is always broken always costing him money. Meanwhile my cheap plastic boat from academy has caught hundreds of more fish and gets used as often as possible.
If that watch that your wearing around your wrist wasn't big enough and weigh more than what it does. Than u would of probably reel in alot of those fish that u lost. 😮😮😂😂😂.

I love Big Boats and I cannot lie.😂😂 You other brothers can deny😂. Keep up the great content. Much love to ya from Maryland ❤❤.
Thanks for the video, reinforces a lot of my thinking for buying one next year.
Glad I could help

Best thing about a small boat is no storage fees

You are right I love boating but the process is crazy in less you got a boat a dock and the ocean all in your backyards

I have this boat and installed cleats using rivets.

Looks like a 1hp equivalent
46lb
@@GreysonRobertshow is for the boat ? I have a 30lb for my angler 10 and it’s ok but I would like a little more speed or power

I have a Jon boat and I love it but it depends on what you’re fishing for and doing.
You just summed up my entire video in one sentence 🤣
Own small rent big.
Slap a 6.5hp hangkai outboard on that boat and you’ll be stoked!!! I have the same boat with that motor and I can run up river on plane at 14mph

Haha the smart watch has all the current and future conditions on the Lock Screen which is super helpful on the water!
