So agree with their phone comments! I will take a few photos and maybe record part of my favorite song, but fir the most part, the movies I make with my eyes in my brain are the memories that last me a lifetime! I go to a live concert to feel, experience, interact, dance if the song calls for it, sing along at certain points, laugh, cry, all of that.
Totally agree with Floor about people on their cell phones, the concert experience was always better back in the days before smart phones. When the great Kate Bush returned to the stage in 2014 for 22 shows at the Hammersmith Apollo she politely asked in a press release before the opening show that people not use their cell phones to film as she just wanted them to be a part of the event experience - and practically everyone in the audiences complied with her request. It was fantastic to have people all around you just enjoying the show without frickin' phones everywhere blocking your view!
Wicked fact, Uriah Heep actually collectively refused to continue to the next song, addressing a guy in the front row, telling him to delete all the videos he made, because there was going to be a DVD of the concert anyway. He had to hold his phone up at the stage and scroll to prove all footage was gone. Yes, the band members themselves. And it's their goddamn right, because he was filming for legit 15 mins straight there.

Ich bin so happy das ich Nightwish im November wieder Live auf der Bühne sehen kann.Vor allem wieder das Monster Floor mit all ihrer Power und ihrem unendlichen Gefühl genießen zu können.A dream comes true!

I love how this video was shot and produced. No interviewer rambling on and a setting which asks you to focus on what is being said.

Nice, relaxed interview, despite Troy getting lost, and arriving late! :-D I've noticed in almost all interviews, Floor is always keen to give Tuomas credit for his composing skills. Meanwhile, younger fans are wondering what a tape is! ;-)
I had to snicker at the tape part of your comment. That is probably true xD
Somehow I totally missed this interview. Lovely to see Floor and Troy and hearing their answers. I completely agree with them about concerts. I filmed like maybe 2-3 minutes of some songs, and took maybe 10-12 photos, but that was it. Given the length of their concert, I mostly enjoyed myself and was present in the moment.

Troy ist echt unterschätzt was musikalisch einbringt bei Nightwish. Er ist wie Floor sehr breit aufgestellt

'-is the first album where Troy, who's just comming in, has a role' xD cute :) Harvest indeed is a very cool song. It sometimes makes me emotional and I don't even know why exactly.. I think I am quite sensitive to 'cirlce of life/comming full circle' stuff :3 No, you guys are not boring. You are genuine, human and wise to put balance high on your priority list. I personally think that culd be the key to such a life as a famous muscian. Many muscians go too far, do too much, are too extravicant(?I dont know teh word) and it will cost them their soul and mental health on the long run. You guys keep up what you're doing, keep the balance for your own health and happiness :) Others should learn from you guys :3
Awesome you wokr-out, Floor. You can se ethat and it's very good and healthy that you do so. Keep trying to get the guy to participate, it'll do them good on the long run! :)
Texting right in front of you while the concert was going on? That is just plain rude and disrespectful! That certainly is an example derived from 'Noise'. I can't even imagine (wanting) to do that.. You are at a freaking concert! Enjoy the experiene, people! I take snippets for a memory or to share later on but I would never text during the show or record the whole show, or even whole songs. I have a not so well memory unfortunately if I compare it to others, but that does not mean I'll record the whole thing. I want to be there in the moment, enjoying life! I would feel so grateful and lucky if Floor interacted with me. I'd be so happy!

Troy and Floor are actually the same height when they're sitting down Lol.
Troy isn't practicing proper social distancing with Floor. I wouldn't either.
Who miked this from 15 ft away? Haven't we learned yet to NOT use the mic on camcorder or phone? why make the effort and then dso shitty job?
