Great review! My mom owns one of these cars. Before we bought it, it was found in a lake. So it was basically like under the water. I don't know how that happened, but the car still runs great to this day.
Very well done review, honest, technically documented. Please keep doing that for modern and older vehicles and this is sure to be a useful channel! I am shopping for a c5 A6 4.2L as it falls into the cars I like to look at, hear and drive. I want to replace my 2003 SE 6sp Maxima, canadian Titanium edition. Its actually faster than the c5, but its FWD and not exactly as classy.Reliability has never been an issue though..
+famouspork Thankyou for your feedback, Yeah Japanese and German cars tend to have a great track record when it comes to reliability, and I can safely say You won't feel short changed by making the swap from Nissan to Audi. Especially if you get one with Quattro AWD, it just makes the car feel so sturdy on any surface, and in any condition.
Great review, thank you for taking the time to make it. Love the honesty on the feel and performance. Im actually in the market for one in Chicago, and it helped a lot.Cheers.
Great review! I miss my stage 2 modified C5 A6 2.7T (I currently own a stage 1 3.0T C7). FYI: regarding the sunroof, you’ll notice the the overhead dial that opens it has a marker about 2/3rds clockwise. Open the dial to that marker, and you’ll get no wind buffeting, eliminating the need to open a back window. Enjoy!
I had an 2004 4.2. I disagree a ton with the steering. The car handled like it was on rails. I have driven cars like Porsche's and more and they don't handle as well as this car did.
How tall are you? You're claiming that headroom is an issue with this car, like it's a real thing. You should mention your height. I am 1.91meters, or 6'3". I fit very well in this car, then I can climb out and jump in the back seat without moving the drivers seat, and still fit in the back, to comfortably watch a movie with my son. I added dvd headrests.
+redrock861 DVD headrests would be sweet as! Yeah I'm 6'3"3/4 so almost 6'4", but the thing is, I have a longer torso of 101cm so I have less trouble with legroom than headroom. In fact, a friend of mine is almost 6'5" and he still fits into cars better than me because he has a shorter torso haha. I'm trying to integrate more information into my future reviews. Thanks for your feedback :)
Hi, I own a 4.2 like the one you had here (difference only by tan leather inside). Altough I have the car since one year I newer got used to the gearchange buttons on the steering wheel, they are pretty useless to me. Other than that I love the car, mostly because of it's understated looks and the V8 soundtrack. Sure, it's not a rocketship, but it has some push. - And FYI I actually have slept in the car a few times during last years summer roadtrips. - Good review, thanks.

I've had this car for a while now and just realized the seats fold down. Thanks xD. All my old cars never had that feature so I didn't know to check

I'll see if I can get my hands on one.
I've been looking into getting one of these (6'5")
But the gas mileage is kinda putting me off. Is it worth it as a daily?
did you get one?
Highway miles are pretty good around 21-22 mpg, city I get around 14 it depends on how you drive it
Oh by the way did you no its has a 144 month warranty on body and frame.
Great review
