I tested Haltane a week ago and I really like it. I was surpised since I don't like certain woody fragrances, like Dior Homme Intense. But Haltane smells a bit more smoky for me. The oud is also very decent.

Iommi is one special perfume. I bought a decant and on my 1st night out I literally have ladies coming over just to compliment and ask what I'm wearing. I ended up bought 2 full bottles😂

I was honestly dissapointed in Spicebomb when I first got it. Replaced it with Armani Code EDP with which in my opinion is far better scent and up till today one of my favorites,
In your whole list, I like PDM Haltane, it’s the only perfume that I consider to be the real deal and it reminds me the dna or the dry down of Creed Aventus 2010 batch when it came up first in the market and it was pure heavenly stuff as I did not find the similar dna so far but somehow in PDM Haltane now. It’s not the exact match to Creed Aventus 2010 batch but quite similar in its dry down that I personally feel. No doubt, PDM Haltane is a master piece after years.
For me Haltane is very similar to Oud for Greatness by Initio Parfums (same parent company I believe). Very rich and sweet. But performance wise both are outdone by Oud for Glory by Lattafa, and at a fraction of the price. I have Spicebomb Extreme and love it in the winter, but also the similar smelling Man in Black from Bulgari. I love the added rum note of MiB (I love rum in general!)

There seems to be so many knowledgeable people on this topic. I think I've used cologne, maybe, less than 15-20 times in the last 40 years. I've only ever used deodorant. That projects better who you are and makes your actions more congruent. Rule No. 2: What a women says she wants and what she really wants are two different things. Women communicate covertly and that applies here too. I have had a girl telling me that she likes sweet scents and hates fresh scents. So, I purposely wore fresh scents when I was around her and she complemented me on „how good I smell“. Create tension and break rules. Do what YOU want Not what you think girls want you to do.
I just got Haltane, and I thought I was the only one who thought about Elixir! There is a similarity in there that I can't quite put my finger on. Both fragrances give me a vintage feel.
I’ve had it for a little over a year when released in the US. I thought that it was a direct competitor to Elixer with a sweet twist. It gets a lot of compliments and it lasts a long time. Everyone has Elixir and this is a great standout alternative. I agree with you

Grand Soir for special occasions. BR540 you can wear nearly daily and special occasions. You’ll smell divine.

Very different. I have both and Naxos is in my top 10 for life. Herod wasn’t that wow for me. Hope it helps.
