Love it! Especially the Dr. Katz complete series. Love all of the comedians, the lazy son, and the father therapist. One of my favorite animated shows of all time if not my favorite. It is very understated, dead pan, and hilarious. My favorite episode is when Dr. Katz has to give a speech at a funeral and he wants to open with the line, I'm not a Mourning Person." I'd have one movie room and one Packer room if I could, as the living room is currently half Packers/half movies. Movies and the Packers are my two biggest passions in life. Great video!

what i saw that should have been mentioned in the tour video, was the coen brothers box set,
there are films in that box set that are fun, two of the movies in that set i own on digital which are millers crossing and raising arizona, which are really enjoyable

Outstanding, thank you for the tour. Have you thought about getting a projector. I recently purchased the Optoma HD143X for only $399.00 and a 110 inch screen which sits about 11.9 ft away doing 16.9 format. The picture quality blows me away.

LOVE B&Ws!!!!!! I have the (older) DM 602 s2 series set. No 4k but i'm ok with that. Your system is beautiful!!!! You probably got your speakers in the 90s like I did!! Best ever!!! Keep up the great videos!
Yep. You got it-90's speakers and still going strong. The only newer one is the center because I wasn't happy with the sound in the 600 series center. It was very muffled. I've heard they since fixed this issue but I'd already jumped to the 800's. I have a newer room tour up from late 2019 because I added some Atmos speakers, which are really fun for the height sounds. 99% of my collection is and probably always will be Blu-ray. I'm fine with that- they still look amazing. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I really do appreciate it. 👍👍

Wow! I really like your room theater something pretty simple & so organize too. I've only collected 47 blu ray's on my shelf & to be honest, I don't want to have a massive of blu ray's collection. I just want to buy movies only I do care the most. There's 3 or 5 movies on my list I really want to add to my collection the forever purge, the godfather collection, spiderman trilogy in 4k, heat, batman begins , the dark knight & rise in 4k, & finally the wolf of wall street. I do remember the block buster card good memories 😥

Love your theatre room! You can not beat the Oled for movie watching.
Corporal Hicks thank you. Yes, I love the OLED, as well. I know a lot of people love the projectors but I felt like my room would be a little cramped for that. This setup worked best for me.

I just purchased a 65” oled last month and what an amazing step up from my plasma. Horror and Sci-fi are my favourite genres and the Oled really compliments them.

Sweet setup! Someday. In a place now that is a bit too small. But looking to move. Would love to have a similar place. And a place for my Godzilla and Star Wars figurines!

Amazing set up! Definitely enjoy your humor too. Love the display case of the mini figs, would love to see a video when you finish that up. Is that sticky peanut code for poop? 💩😂 I only ask because of the poop love in the video haha. Seriously though your Dad did a great job on the shelving units and basement! Where did you get the movie poster frames? How dare you not link them! 😛

Well, actually the peanut was just an actual peanut but I think a rogue poop would have been more fun. 😃😃 I wish I could get my dad to build out the other side of the room with more shelves but I guess it's cheapo Atlantics for now (link in the description🤣🤣🤣). The frames...hmm. I'm pretty sure I picked them up at a local AC Moore on a day after Christmas sale- they're ridiculous at full price but if you get a sale, totally worth it. Just a fantastic room! I love your steelbook collection. Just want to put it out there, that this hobby is so predominantly male and we even joke about the WAF when it comes to buying equipment, that it's very refreshing to see a woman enjoy this hobby and takes pride in their collection and equipment. Do you have just blue rays. Do you have any dvds. What’s dvd do you wish have a blue ray or 4k movie treatment
John Hickey hey there. I have sold most of my DVD collection to upgrade to Blu-ray and 4k. The only DVD's I still have are ones that don't have a Blu-ray release. There are so many titles that need Blu-ray upgrades but ones that come to mind are: Mommie Dearest, True Lies, Nutty Professor 2 (guilty pleasure😃)-my list goes on. Titles are slowly finding their way to Blu-ray and 4k and who knows why some never make it. Thanks for watching, and great question!! 😃👍

Hey Steph your girl cave lol is pretty good and simple. What I mean it's how you like it set your way. Pretty impressed with your pop collection. I just started with Deadpool but I do collect movie mem too and mugs and posters.
At the moment my daughter and granddaughter are in my spare room so all my setup is in the sitting room and my dvd collection is everywhere on shelves and in boxes everywhere drives my lovely wife nuts but she says if it is a hobby I enjoy then fair enough lol. Been collecting films and mem for about 20 years hence why it's everywhere lol.

Ugh, the Pops have taken over the room!! 😂😂 At one point, was thinking of moving but honestly, the basement is why I stayed. I just love the room. It doubles as a workout space, which I didn't show but it's the other end of the basement.
I love movie mem. stuff and actually, I just heard about a store not far from my house so I'll be heading there soon. I'll have to do an updated tour. The room had changed some since this video.
I've only been doing videos about 7 months and yes, I was super nervous. I reviewed the movie Love, Simon. I had gotten some early release tickets so I figured, what the heck. I cringe when I watch it now. 😂😂😂
I fund the channel 100% out of pocket. I actually just reached the point where I quality for the channel to be monetized by RUclips but as for the movies and giveaway stuff, I buy everything myself. I hope to one day be influential enough for the studios to send me review copies but I'm not there just yet.

I’m starting my own budget home theater. I bought a 50” Panasonic th-50px6u for 40 bucks, Bose 321 system for 220 on eBay(talk about me if you want to, Bose is awesome). Eventually I will upgrade and go 5.1. I’ve got an old integra 7.4 receiver waiting in my closet. money is tight! But I like my simple setup, since I have a small room and live in an apartment with my mom ❤️
Gabriel Summers nice!! And good for you. I have a Bose setup upstairs and I'll tell you, it's still blows me away. I've had it forever and it just keeps cranking. It took me years to build my system, one piece at a time. That's why when people tell me I need to upgrade this or that, I look at them like they're crazy. 😂😂😂 I think we all have to do what's best for us and our situation. I don't have the latest and greatest, most of my components are about 10-12 years old but it works just fine for me. Glad to hear you're setting up a system that works for you! Hey steph atmos is worth the money. I only have front hight but I would recommend in celing speakers.

Yeah, I like it. Got a TCL 55P607 and a 5.1 Vizio surround system. Serves it's purpose nicely. But yes, eventually would like to do atmos.
The Ignored Gender we're all in the same boat- Atmos. 😂😂 My issue is that I really love my speakers but they have the tweeters on the top. I have to figure out a way to get Atmos speakers and not rest them on the top of the front channels. 🤷♀️

Looks like you have a HT set-up similar to mine. I also have a 65" LG 4K OLED (about a year old); along with Def Tech tower powered mains, center ch & surrounds & 2 upward firing ATMOS speakers, Sony X-700 4K Player, Denon AVR & a 4K Hopper (SAT Player). I love mine as I know you love yours. And although I don't have the collection of Blu-Rays you do, I have about 300 including almost all of the 4K releases.
Ken Hearrean Ooooo, sounds like you have a really great setup. I've yet to figure out which Atmos speakers I want. I have to go listen and see which ones sound best with my existing speakers. The physical media colleting is one of those things- slow, steady climb. I've been slowing down recently and just picking up titles that I really love. Hopefully my channel will do ok and I'll eventually start getting review copies because, as you know, it's also an expensive hobby. 😱 Thank you so much for watching and sharing- I always enjoy hearing what others have in their spaces.

Where did you get that cabinet for the figures?

Caleb Lorenzen thanks!! The receiver is linked in the description- it's a Marantz. The TV is an LG 65 inch OLED from Best Buy- it's not the curved display. Runs about $3800 last time I checked. All my speakers are by Bowers & Wilkins, the 800 series. Can't recall where I got the theater seats, I wish I could. They're about 15 years old and in great condition. If you Google theater seating, there's lots of great sites with lots of options. They're all pretty much the same just depends on what features you want. Hope this helped some. 😃

Where do you get your movie posters and frames for them from ?
Will World hi, and thanks for watching the room tour. The posters, hmm. I'm pretty sure I got most of them on posters.com (it's been a little while). The frames I purchase at AC Moore but wait for the sales otherwise, they're like $37/each. They have sales through the year and the day after Christmas they're about $7. amazing setup i just upgraded 2 4k i got a 55 inch led tv and a 4k blu ray player ive been working on my blu ray collection im hooked on steelbooks lol i would love 2 see ur steelbook collection

Outstanding, never seen a woman cave before, what a great collection of everything, I thought I had a decent collection of movies, mine doesn't even come close! Suggestion, if you can find some sort of base (or have one made) for your center channel that'll allow you to point it downwards towards the listening position, movies will be that much better, and just get a pair of surround speakers and 2 ceiling speakers and you'll never leave downstairs, oh and the subwoofer doesn't need to be pointed towards you as bass is non directional. congrats your movie room is awesome!

I have two surrounds in the ceiling- I think forgot to show those, and I'm on the hunt for the Atmos in the front. Actually you did show the ceiling surrounds at the end, what I was suggesting (and you can do a little more research on what's best for your space) is adding surrounds lower and closer to the listening position slightly behind/above to the right and left of your seating. A great spot for the left surround would be right between the Nemo poster and that stack of Pops figurines, I couldn't see a good shot of the other side directly opposing this position but I'm sure you can make something work, just mount a couple bookshelf speakers in those areas and use your current mounted ceiling speakers to deliver your overhead Atmos content, and you can think about the option of mounting a second pair of ceiling speakers closer to the tv for an even more immersive experience, however I think the 2 that you have should be enough for that space. I'm assuming you're upgrading to an Atmos enabled receiver if your current one doesn't come with it, I think a 5.1.2 set up is all you need for that awesome woman cave.

Movie Chatter ok cool, are you going to consider having lower surrounds now your introducing atmos? Or leaving there as atmos rear, and adding some lower surrounds?
Duane Bennett yep. It's definitely a work in progress. I'm having the guy who does all of our home theaters come make suggestions. My dad is a contractor so they build all kinds of amazing home theaters. I'm hoping he'll have some suggestions on how to best arrange things. I'm already amazed at how much the additional front speakers fill out the sound.

Do you use snap frames for your movie posters?
HUGEHYE I don't. These are just regular poster frames I picked up at A.C. Moore. They can be a little expensive but if you check on their site, when they do go on sale, they're around $7. They hold up great, too. 😀👍

HUGEHYE yes, I did grab them right in the store. If you go into the stores, they usually have something on sale that's decent. I've had pretty good luck there.

DisturbedOne7890 hello and welcome to the channel. 😃 I'd be happy to talk about the Hannibal collection- although there isn't too much to talk about. It's really just three standard Blu-rays boxed up together. The picture quality is sound- they're decent Blu-rays. What might be more helpful to you would be for me to discuss my new Criterion of Silence of the Lambs. They didn't do the trilogy but SOTL looks amazing with the 4k restoration and tons of extras. I'll think of something to do- it will most likely be in my next upcoming Criterion segment. Thanks for the request!! 😃👍
I'd love to see that video! My collection of Criterion titles is minuscule compared to yours but SOTL is one that I have. In fact, I also own the Collector's Edition Manhunter Blu-ray you showed in a recent video but I don't own Hannibal or Red Dragon. Wouldn't it be great if Criterion put out a boxed set of the trilogy? Thanks for the reply!

Movie Chatter l use a Denon home cinema amp, Oppo 4k Blu-ray player, Mordant Short 807s front speakers, Mordaunt Shot 805s rear speakers and Kef Reference center speaker. I also need to upgrade to Atmos. All in all the system sounds amazing. Also have connected my pioneer cld 950 laserdisc player which l use 3very now and then like watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit which you can slomo for all the naughty bits the Disney animaters sneakily put in lol. And 65in lg oled 4k as well. XO.
