Got my 2013 pushing 170k and it still runs like an absolute monster. Even have had to take my car trekking through 6+ inches of snow every year and it still goes. Only thing I have had to replace outside of basic maintenance were the front CV Axles which was due to my own doing.
I have 2013 it has 267100 miles it runs great still too be honest I gotta get some lights on dash fixed they are just senors tho it’s worth more me driving it
These also have a pretty narrow steering wheel airbag that only comes off the side of the steering wheel about 2" on each side. The bag is only about 17-18" in diameter, average is about 22". Yet this generation of Civic was the safest compact car of its time, so that narrow airbag still did really well. Dummy movement was very well controlled and the airbag contained the driver better than most much wider airbags! They made the airbag narrower to limit the risk of arm injuries. June 18, 2023 9:20 pm
My grandma has a 2015 CR-V and wants to leave it to me when she passes. I'm strongly considering a Civic so I don't need to adjust very much if I do get the CR-V.
This was a huge improvement over the 2012 Civic. Dare I say Honda didn't make this body style long enough. Only 3 model years (2013-2015), they certainly could have gotten by until 2017 or 2018 with it. Also, believe it or not, the 2013-2015 Civic is actually a safer car than the 2016-2021 Civic. Both did very well in most crash tests, but the 2013-2015 Civic did very well in the small overlap, the 2016-2021 really deserved an Acceptable rating in that same test. Blame the steering wheel airbag; Honda used a novel "spiral" design for the 2016-2021 Civic's steering wheel airbag that ended up being inferior to earlier systems. With the 2022 and newer Civic they've gone back to having a good steering wheel airbag and it's safer than ever. October 29, 2023 10:10 pm

My favorite Honda Civics are the 2012-2013 and 1996-2000 with honorable mentions for 1992-1995 and 2016-2019.

@chasemcnicholas469 Just got one and it only has 65k miles so I'm guessing it'll last me a while.
I got a 2014 last week 104,000 i love it
Would this be great for a new driver
Definitely.
I am considering getting this model within the week if possible, and also am a new driver lol.
The steering wheel is SMALL. When I first drove one I couldn’t believe the steering wheel diameter compared to my 22’ Honda Civic

Well I guess small car small steering wheel. Although the steering wheel on my odyssey is small as well.
Nice car, I have a question: The side mirrors have different magnification ?
This is a beautiful car , very beautiful.
Thank you 🙏

So you're waiting for her to die
@@sakyibellz Definitely not. I visit her every day. The sad truth is that she doesn't have too much time left as she is 90 years old.
I have 171K miles on this car
I have around 158K on mine
206K on mines
How do You record your videos?
GoPro hero 7 black with a hat clip lol
It's a great car! My only gripe about it is the legroom/cabin space. I'm a tall person. That's why I like midsize and full size sedans more. Lol.
how is the headroom

The interior is really ugly, what a downgrade from the 8th gen
Not much of a diff tbh
What’s so ugly about the interior?
If you want ugly look at Chevy interiors
@@nhattran1074 I prefer this even if it isn’t as aesthetically pleasing, the tech is amazing and it still holds up in 2023.
this is infinitely better than the 8th gen interior
