Another thing about the photo of the OOT fisherman, Hena mentions he might be her ancestor, afterwards she begins to scratch her back like the OOT fisherman.
You can get Hanch chased by bees if you wait to speak to him on the second day until he's throwing rocks at the hive. Everything sold in more than one shop costs exactly the same in all shops -- this is counting the suggested price in Trill's shop, and also takes into account things you can buy varying amounts of, such as Arrows or Bombs, as the cost per Bomb or Arrow is the same -- with a few exceptions. Some Gorons have set up shop in a building in Castle Town across the central road from the fancy shop. They sell things at a markup from the usual cost. (One small Goron says his dad calls it "regional pricing".) This makes sense, as the only competition for adventurers who can't warp around the map practically on a whim after a certain point... is the aforementioned fancy shop, where everything costs so much, you can't buy it even with a full Giant Wallet... which, it will be slightly less than full, as the store demands you have your shoes shined first. But then, after you donate 1000 Rupees toward a bridge and 1000 (or 200) toward a takeover, that shop turns into the third exception, Malo Mart, where the wares are significantly marked DOWN. Speaking of the Gorons, one on the balcony of that building can be spoken to for a version of that famous line, "It's a secret to everybody." You can get additional dialogue from the adventurers if you talk to them after receiving the Zora Armor but before completing Lakebed Temple, and thus, while Telma isn't there to introduce you, and Rusl isn't there to vouch for you, either. This also changes the dialogue you can hear as you're crossing over them on a rope, and changes some of the dialogue you get when you speak to them a second time, whether this is at the bar or where they are when they're out investigating. I didn't realize they had cannons in the City in the Sky! And I don't just mean the one that sends you back to Lake Hylia... Well, despite watching Zeltik, Hyrule Gamer, Bandit Jo, Liam Triforce, Monster Maze, and others, there were some in there that I actually didn't know. Nice!
I knew most of them, but what caught me off guard was the postman. I didn’t ever see him in the flying mini game and there was one other location I missed.
I thought I'd know everything, and I mostly did, but I didn't know the Falbi switch, the dodongo bomb trick, or the postman in the Plumm minigame. My eyes nearly popped out of my head on those 😂
I’m surprised by just how many of these I knew since I haven’t played twilight princess since the wii, but another cool musical Easter egg is that the bottom floor of hyrule castle has the same theme as a Link to the Past
In East (GCN)/West (Wii) Castle Town, in the alley where the two guys are looking at each other, there's a dog. If you talk to the dog as Wolf Link, it will say something about how the cobblestones are hard, and how he wishes he had some soft ground to walk on. As Hylian Link, if you throw a bone into the patch of grass up north by the doctor's shop, the dog will retrieve a single green rupee. As Wolf Link, if you stand next to any of the horseshoe plants, you can howl Epona's Song and call Epona... as a wolf. The first wooden shield in the game is the only Ordon Shield in the game with the Ordon goat horn pattern on it. If it gets burned, it can only be replaced by a Wooden Shield which has a different pattern. As another commenter mentioned, Link can backflip off Epona, but he can also Clawshot off horseback (or piggyback, as the case may be).
I know most of these, but there were a few that I had no idea about, like the Rito engraving in 2:54 and the switch to stop the platform from turning at 3:39. I wish I had known that one sooner! The mini-game is at 4:45. I think Dark Link appears in the mirror if you turn off the lantern at 9:01. I also didn't know about 9:21 or the Postman being in the cave at 11:37. I've seen all of his other locations. The last thing is that Dead Man's Volley was also in The Wind Waker when you fight Phantom Ganon, and there are more Wind Waker easter eggs!
I want to point out that the morning music at 18:01 is not only in both Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess but also in Wind Waker! Another one is that when you enter some shops or houses in both Twilight Princess and Wind Waker, the same music plays. Lastly, one of the wolf songs is the Ballad of Gales from Wind Waker, as well!
Great video! I actually didn’t know about the watering Pumpkins some of the hidden rupee locations. I’m not sure if it’s a secret as more of an oversight, but you can complete the game without restoring Illia’s memory.
When going for the final strike on ganondorf, put the iron boots on. Link will then be seen wearing them in the final cutscene when he runs up to midna. Best part is, since it's a cutscene, he doesn't get slowed down by them
9:15 it should say "#00CC00" if it is referring to the RGB Hex colour code of the green colour of the outfit. Each RGB component has one byte (two hex digits) in this format ranging from 00 to FF, meaning that "00CC00" is a medium-light pure green colour: - 00/FF = 0/256 = 0% red, - CC/FF = 204/256 = ca. 80% green, - 00/FF = 0/256 = 0% blue. Great video though
Ao i searched this topic up knowing ive watched the video and it said like 7 hours ago and i lost my mind thank you for this vid fr legit i didnt know about a lot of these and this id my first Zelda game so im super impressed
Huh. I guess that means the Rito are a part of the child timeline after all then. They must not have been a long lived species, or perhaps they simply migrated to a more preferable land for their needs, but if any group would have record of their existence, it makes sense that it would be the royal family. (Also the crows dropping rupees after killing them all is just how I play the game, did most people genuinely not know about that?) I'm a little surprised you didn't make note of the fact that if you press R on Epona, Link will kinda duck down. I have zero idea if this reduces his hitbox or makes it so things can instead hit the shield on his back (in fact, I'm not sure if the shield can stop projectiles from causing damage while it's sheathed in general but I wouldn't blame the game if that isn't a thing), it seems to solely be there to give a quick dismount option. Doesn't matter how fast you're going, R+A will cause Link to backflip off his horse in epic style. Very useful, because you don't have to hit the breaks on Epona, wait for her to skid to a stop and rear up, and in my case, consistently attempt to back up so I then have to nudge the control stick forward again to bring her to a complete stop such that I can properly dismount. I don't think the game ever gives much indication the option is there, outside of if you happen to press R, at which point Link will duck and it will give a prompt to hit A for a dismount.
Its weirdly triggering to see the game mirrored. Never understood why the Wii and HD did this. Also, you need to put "HD" in the video name, because certain things are not in the original game.
At the beginning of the game right before Link herds goats for the first time, you are able to get a purple rupee right by the house where you get the Ordon shield
Bruh. I didn't know like 80% of this. And I thought I knew a lot. Also, TP had the best art style, but Oot had the best music. Also, I'm a Dan too Subbed
There is another postman spot that you can find at the bottom of the cave of ordeals in gerudo desert why he's there, and how he beat you to the bottom I have no clue
"they thought the game was too serious for tingle" as two demented clowns let you jump off a cliff with a chicken and shoot you into the sky with the sky chickens They could've made it happen if they tried lol
Which Twilight Princess Easter eggs and Secrets did you learn about today? Which game should I do next?
Skyward Sword
Lol I had absolutely no idea of that last postman location.
Malon's singing voice in the Hyrule Field night theme is one I've always loved.
Ganondorf: "At last, we cross swords! Our battle will be legendary!"
Link: *Pulls out a fishing rod*
Ganondorf: "....What?"
Another thing about the photo of the OOT fisherman, Hena mentions he might be her ancestor, afterwards she begins to scratch her back like the OOT fisherman.

I knew most of them, but what caught me off guard was the postman. I didn’t ever see him in the flying mini game and there was one other location I missed.
