    I took an old memory gel topper, cut it to size, rolled it up and made a bolster pillow. It is the most comfortable pillow I have ever slept on. It conforms to my neck and head and when I get up it bounce back.

    Thank you so much. I'm here laying in bed with the most sore neck. I stumbled across your video and the lightbulb 💡 went on. Thank you.💙

    Here's a really great tip to really customize your pillow. Many side sleepers notice any pillow squishes their eye, nose and mouth. Women know how it causes excess wrinkling around that eye and can bend eyelashes in opposite direction. I took a pillow case and sewed a fist size /sideways U at either end of the pillowcase. Leaving enough open to stuff either shredded memory foam or fiber fill....then hand sewed the seam shut. Voila! No more pillow poofing up in front of your face and bye bye claustrophobic feeling

    This is brilliant. I have a cheap zipped pillow filled with foam pieces that has sagged and some gel memory foam offcuts from a topper. I didn't want to bin the offcuts, so this will be perfect. Thanks.

    Awesome video! Thank you! I have 3 memory foam pillows and they all hurt my neck, so I’m going to create my own custom pillow. Hopefully no more neck pain and headaches when I wake up in the mornings 🙏🏼

    Thanks-Also if you dont have time to do this, & you have a spare $70 u xan get one like this from Coop home goods which I did & I just removed some of the memory foam shredding from the pillow to make it a bit softer. also I made it a toddler size so it just fits under my neck & stays plumper in the middle.

    I sleep with a soft travel pillow for the proper neck support- I need to restuff it, definitely going to try shredded memory foam this time around

      I found that, the smaller the foam, the better the comfort. Otherwise I got it a bit too lumpy!

    Thank you so much for making this video because I am one who spent so much in pillows and still don’t have a good night sleep, so now I am going to do what you did and I believe it’s going to help me a lot. 🤗

      I hope this works for you! I've since changed to a hybrid version of this pillow where I put the stuffing to the bottom of a thin memory foam pillow to adjust the height. Works wonders because I get the comfort of the flatness and the personal adjustment.

      Yea if only I could be bothered to cut it smaller but I guess I could always just buy a bag of fill

    What kinda foam pillow is this?

  • @nickperez8127

    Does it flatten after a week or so? Considering when people make their own they always flatten

    • @MeettheTings
      @MeettheTings  3 года назад +2

      No it didn't, but I did end up changing the top to be less ripped. I ended up ripping the bottom of another pillow and then using the stuffing to adjust the height at the bottom instead. This gives me more comfort at the top and more adjustment for my neck at the bottom

      I dont think it flatten since he is using memorhy foam, foam always goes back to original position, thats why foam is more expensive
