I got my son the same bike but green I ended up doing a lot of the same upgrades you have done but over the years I wonder why it ran like crap in the top end change your cdi and the whole spark plug assembly and that bike will really run all out
@tyreebell4448 It's a good kit that adds a lot of power. I have a friend that has been running their big bore kit on a crf 110 for over 2 yrs and he rides the bike at least 5 hrs a week. The bike still runs strong.
so are you giving up on the big bore idea? i was tryna find big bores for mine but im almost considering just building mine to high compression and sum old school port polishing as well as roller rockers and stiffer valve springs. but for the rpms to make that efficient i think imma balance and true n weld my crank. granted this is all going on my bike for racing.
I haven't given up yet. I actually put the big bore topend on this engine and it ran great! The chain slipped off after hitting a big jump and trashed the transmission. So I bought a new engine and have been breaking it in. I only have about 2-3 hours on it so far and haven't gotten Full Throttle to feel perfect yet. I took it to the track today, and it was cutting out under load at full throttle. It was 28 degrees and sleeting so maybe that had something to do with it🧐 I'll get it figured out soon and throw the topend back on. It's a BEAST with it. I'm looking for a crf 110 efi to build now, but I'm not gonna give up on this one just yet. 😏

Luckily, I haven't had any spark issues. They run really well, even if you run them hard daily.
So should I get the kit or no?
