They likely choose Ingrid to get the rearmed version because they're biased around female units, and they know they can make more money around Ingrid rather than Sylvain and Felix.
In my opinion this banner should’ve had Felix as an ascended, Sylvain be a premium unit with the Lance of ruin, and had someone else as the demote (maybe Ashe, but if we’re not restricted to students I’d love to see Rodrigue)

I'm super happy he's in though, definitely the highlight of this banner. I am also quite happy about a much speedier Arcane Lance as I have like 3 units that could use it.

Are the Houses skip designs just not being used? I LIKE those designs! - Why is Rhea on a Blue Lions banner when Ashe, an archer, would fill colourless perfectly? - Why is Cornelia the GHB when Gilbert arguably fits the Lions much better? - What HAPPENED to Sylvain? A popular hero with consistently great CYL standings becomes a demote axe cav with a kit from several years ago. - Seriously though, why axe Sylvain? The Lance of Ruin was right there!!

BUT At the same time I'm SO angry because they put him in probably the WORST moment (In my case, of course) possible. I was so close of doing Brave Byleth +10, and NOW Felix gets into... Man. First L!Shez, then A!Elincia, then L!Yuri, and now Felix vanilla. What's next? Bridal Mia?????????! IS wants me to suffer... Anyway. Definitely pulling for Felix. Also I like the fact that they made a banner with Felix, Sylvain, and Ingrid. Cool detail imo.

I’m happy for blue lions fans as they only have Ashe left to get out of seasonal hell now. However the only blue lions I like enough to try for all their alts are Ashe and Mercie so since neither of them are here and there’s also no golden deer or Hanneman I’ll only be doing the free pulls on this one. I’m ultimately glad it’s not anyone I want as I haven’t gotten all the blazing blade kids yet so that’s where my priority lies.
Arcane 2.0 is kinda a stretch when Qiang is more universally useful and Luin needs the user to be speedy. it feels more like a nicher sidegrade than anything else.
I feel like they made up for not releasing Engage material by giving us Felix. Hm. And they even gave him Godlike reflexes and some speed materials. Also, I feel like Scowl is kind of an inside joke about Rhea's behavior towards people against the church like Edelgard.

Demotes are so frustrating to see now. Just give them a PRF and add some shop to get inheritable weapons to give to characters. Gonna get the Ingrid for my Florina. Other than that this banner is disappointing due to how safe it is. Felix is the new godsword who will be outdone in a few months, Rhea is a dragon for some reason???, Ingrid is Ingrid, and Sylvain exists.

Your scream when Felix showed up = my reaction if Linhardt ever gets another alt. And Atk/Def Catch in the demote pool right on the heels of Atk/Res Catch landing in the demote pool makes me even more hopeful that we might see Atk/Spd Catch in the normal demote pool this year.

I love the honest joy you got from finally seeing Felix, and also once you took a better look at Ingrid's weapon. That was pretty amazing. DTM called that you would think of GB 4 for Altina. Also, another commenter on DTM's video summed up IS's Engage support in the best way "We have gotten two Arcane Lances before a second Engage banner. Let that sink in."
I am so glad that this banner is a skip for me, cause I don't like Felix (sorry :s), don't like Ingrid and I despise Rhea... so there is no reason for me to pull here. Tho it would be kinda tempting to have Guard Bearing 4 for my Thea, but I don't think thats enough to pull for, especially cause I still want to spark von AHR and I am also thinking about trying to get close to +10 with my Young L'Arachel which currently should be +6. I presume that the Mythic Hero banner is Nerþuz since we've fought this character two months ago since she's color shared with the returning Legendary Female Shez and Legendary Deirdre. I also presume that the Fodlan game's rerun for Legendary Female Shez is the reason why they chose Three Houses.
The reason why Three Houses is this month's banner is Felix being the highest voted character on the males division of CYL 7 which can be a factor of being the choice of New Heroes.
Gonna smash that Blue Lion bias with my Brave Edelgard. And then Kiria, Peony and Eir can clean up whatever is left of the boar's friends + the archbishop.
This banner is a mess with just a repeat rearmed fodder of the same weapon type. That should've been Engage like most people wanted! Is Engage flopped or something? I'm starting to hate Three Houses characters right now since they have around 100 characters right now!
