I'll give you an honest review of the Microtech OTF cypher versus the Vespa cypher clone knife.
Disclaimer is I bought this nice with my own money therefore I will give you an honest review these nights or not lend it to me by the manufacturer or from a nice broker dealer therefore I have no obligation to give a raving review because I don't have a dog in the race.
I'm going to put head to head to Michael's take cipher versus vesper safer clone and I'm not going to even be scripted I'm gonna do it live.

Vespa has a similar quality to Microtech. What is a pity is that Vespa doesn't make things with a more beautiful design like the microtech. There should also be more tactical colours at Vespa.
You should of kept the gold and not bought the knives. You'd of doubled your money now both those knives you would be lucky to get 300 bucks for the pair today. Luckyis thekey word . Probably wouldn't get that

I do prefer the grind on the Microtech. Just judging from vid/pics, the grind looks thinner. I've owned the Vespa and it's ground pretty thick. No big deal especially for a "fighting" type of knife but I prefer a thinner grind.

The Microtech crazy policy is that Any model has more demand will be discontinued sooner.. i really can’t understand it, because look like’s is not about money at all cos All manufacturers continue to produce the product when the product is selling successfully or wanted by peoples.. its take 9 years until i find Model Makora II in Secondhand in Ukraine.. after many year still im unable to find cypher so i will go buy the clone one:)
I love my Vespa Cypher. I got the original black and blued teal color way, and the og blade style as well. Amazing knife for the money.
Man, it looks like all of the clones are just straight up gone. Plenty of clones for every other microtech, but the Cypher? Can't find any on Ali or Dhgate. The actual maker of the Vespa isn't even selling them anymore.
I think the one from DH gate is a Vespa too . It’s pretty awesome for $40 or $50 . I’ve got a stitch , an 85 and a little 70 and now this today and I think I have $200 wrapped up and they r sweet knives .
Microtech makes a fixed blade: "Yeah, this one is okay."
I have the Vespa and it’s a great knife. My biggest issue is the I let clip keeps coming loose

That cypher is beautiful and you actually got a good deal
They sent a $750 knife back with a used damaged handle.. Vespa it is ✅
If they didn't have parts, they should of replaced it with a better model.
