When the sheet-metal moulding for the peasant class vehicle, the Camry, is more aesthetically pleasing than the sheet-metal moulding for the top of the line, cluttered-looking Lexus LS 500, Toyota has got some serious historical-design issues to work through.
What's special about it? It's just another overpriced Camry with different plastic and a few more "feel special" buttons that do, pretty much, nothing that will have problems later. I don't know what a "automatic CVT" is but if it comes with the ECTV it's better than the 8 speed until it's not. Of course, all of the newer transmissions Toyota uses are throwaways. I just wish Toyota would go back to quality being job 1. My new 2020 Camry was the worst new car I've ever had and ruined a 30+ year trust with Toyota products.
@@lionintu Big list. Before I got rid of it I joked the only thing that still worked were the windshield wipers until they started acting up. Not going forward, popping noises from the engine, air conditioner not blowing cold air for a few miles, transmission shift feeling like someone ran in to the car, the same if I slowly went over speed bumps, hesitation and stuttering, slamming on the brakes for no reason in the middle of the highway, jerking to the left, smelled like hot antifreeze, lights staying on for a long time, battery died, radio locking up... and more.

日本には存在しない現行モデルは、ずんぐりむっくりなんよね。FRのセダンを所有してるのも大いにあるけど、フロントタイヤとドアの間隔がなさ過ぎて何度見ても気になってしか無いです。そこがクリア出来てればずんぐりむっくり感は解消されるのになぁ。もったいない。
