What’s so cool about this show is that it was expected to fail. I remember when the show was starting in Chicago and there were a lot of critics saying the show would quickly flop. But it didn’t. It had a successful run in Chicago and then on Broadway, resulting in 12 Tony nominations including Best Musical ( I still think it got robbed) When I talk about this show, I say it’s how The Musical No One Took Seriously became The Musical No One Saw Coming

This will be the first time seeing the musical I have not watched it. Also my favorite quote is they're selling chocolates from Mary. Actually I like most of the quotes from Spongebob some I remembered and laugh at the most is when Squidward got very mad when he remembered that Spongebob was supposed to explode from the bomb pie he gave him. Squidward said you were supposed to explode into a million pieces. I also like when he said forget the book when Spongebob shown him a book of ideas so he and Squidward can spend more time together. I also like when Plankton sang his part in the fun song his part was F is fire burn down the whole town U is for uranium bombs N is for no survivors. I know you said one quote but I wanted to include a few more that I remembered so you know I loved more than one quote like a multiple quotes that were my favorites.
finally someone reacting to this frickin masterpiece!!! you perfectly got it down girl! This is unironically one of my favorite Broadway Musicals now. I actually came across this screening here on youtube back in 2020 I think because someone uploaded it and I was like “oh god beware .." and got into this expecting to cringe myself through it but after that opening number my jaw was on. the. floor. and I was like “damn this actually hella slaps“! And it kept getting better and better.. The costumes were PERFECT. I was impressed with how incredibly they brought every single character to life. And the actors also did an incredible job impersonating these characters and imitating the actual VAs. Then the set design, you already mentioned it with the plastic having that double meaning, but even in general how they created the jellyfish, the volcano and everything absolute creative- perfection Then the story writing with these very real themes of mass hsysteria and manipulation through government and media but just overall it being a very good story and of course that BANGER soundtrack .. no words. The references to the show and incorporation of the “cartoonish feel“ through sound effects, movements, title boards, the "sound- guy"- LOVED it the costume department literally did god's work on this, let me tell you.. perfect with every character I rarely see a project where everyone who is involved in the creation goes in with so much heart and soul. This musical is up there for me with the big ones!! definitely an underestimated master piece!
I love this musical! The costumes and backgrounds are colorful, the music is fun, the songs are catchy and memorable (I know '' Bff '' almost by heart. I like '' Money money! '' too and Squidward song is great!) The humor is fantastic; a lot of references to the cartoon and every one of them is funny. Patchy is there and have a song, that's cool 😃The characters are likable and respected! It's a fantastic show, 10/10!
I barely ever get to go and see musicals live on stage. This is one of the ones that I have seen. It was one of the last things I went to in 2020, and it was like a month before quarantine at a really good time in life. So, this musical is really special to me. Squidward's song/tap dance is my favorite part of the whole musical.

I suggest you explore the history of animation by starting with "The Adventures of Prince Achmed" from 1926. From there, you could proceed chronologically, reacting to each subsequent film and observing the evolution of animation. You may include both cartoons and anime, excluding recap films and those you've already seen. Alternatively, you could create a separate video summarizing and reviewing the films you've already watched. This is merely a suggestion, but I believe it would be a fascinating journey through the history of animation.
I really like seeing reactions to pro-shots of musicals! Very hard to find and very enjoyable I think you should react to the 2008 Rent pro-shot and also the Waitress one that came out this year ❤
Okay, I’ll just say it right now. I’m one of those dummies who didn’t go see the SpongeBob musical when I had the chance. With that said, this musical is a lot of fun and I even sang along to the songs. It’s no Hamilton, but it is a lot of fun for what it is.
Yeah, this is kind of like if they actually did like a musical, but they mixed it up again but they like did this whole musical over again but like if they mixed it with like the amazing digital circus plus Batwheels and if you don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s another cool show. This is why they need to like mix up some of the shows. because then it would totally be cute that it would make me say. Aw but just for the fun of it though.
Well, yeah, I know why it came to a close because I heard of urban legends and theories well other ones that had like nothing to do with the amazing digital circus, but like just those rumors because of the stage being haunted and that sort of stuff And also because of the indigo park one kind of two and if you guys don’t know what I’m talking about that’s like another good comic con one to but I think that’s what you guys should watch next definitely for sure. Both of the suggestions I left in the comment.
PS you should also think about taking some of my other ideas for the next movies especially Clifford the big red dog well the live action movie I know that’s another good movie too that you should watch with her but and just so you know that you could tell your friend that most of that stuff was just urban legends and theories because of like those ghost SpongeBob, urban legends, and theories Especially about mystery tape like a long time ago probably like when your best friend was probably six maybe a little bit older and that’s also when kids went missing because of like those kind of tapes there was even another one about Max and Ruby like how the parents were dead that’s why they don’t put them in the series because the entire time they like dead but those were just more urban legends and theories again

The show was great all around; the Cast was fantastic (especially Ethan Slater as SpongeBob! Can’t wait to see him in “Wicked: Part One” later this year!); and seeing Tom Kenny appear as Patchy was the icing on the cake! Since Tim had previously watched Hamilton on his channel and you two just did SpongeBob together, I was wondering if either of you had seeing the pro shot of “Newsies: The Broadway Musical”? If not, I would LOVE to see you two react to that in the future if possible! Both the original 1992 “Newsies” movie and the 2017 pro shot of the Broadway musical are both on Disney Plus. So, it wouldn’t be too hard to find them. But knowing Nickelodeon, they probably won't adapt this into a feature film because they're too busy recycling the same plotlines ad nauseum and making more unnecessary spin-offs. Plus, this is also why they don’t have Max and Ruby on Nickelodeon as well just so you know, and also because of other urban legend of theories, like why a lot of the other nickelodeon shows that I remember like another one, but I can’t remember what it was called and I know that Franklin was on there too, but They are treehouse members now and I know that there were a couple others that are on treehouse now I can’t think of all of them mostly because it’s been a long time for that stuff too, so that’s also why I can’t give out that much information but like remember to Google search like what else kind of shows were on Nickelodeon if anyone else remembers it’s just been a long time for me as well and also like I said in my previous comment most of those were just urban legends and theories like the max and Ruby theory, but only whenever you watch that tape at 3 AM in the morning that things were supposed to happen that’s what like people said and then a lot of people like came up with different theories like it spread like wildfire like there was one theory about like how they were having sleep paralysis like one of those sleep things where you’re awake, but you can’t move if you catch my drift of what I’m saying because it probably spelt it wrong but anyway that’s like beyond the point there were just lots of different theories there were even different theories about all of the break-ins and back then we’d only had like those old wall cell phones, but like when the tape came out, I’m pretty sure it’s those old wall cell phones ☎️ that kind of look like that but not really they’re more like this emoji phone 📞 but like I said, most of that stuff was just urban legends and theories again for the record if anyone found that tape, I suggest immediately burning it or call the cops in these kind of situations mostly because we have our cool phones like our iPhones now and we could totally call the cops faster
PS I just like leaving cool comments and helping your friends too to become super popular And also because I know lots of those kinds of urban legends and secrets to even some of them have something to do with my mom, secrets, and the happy meal challenges not just the ones I’ve mentioned before and even if I didn’t mention them, then there’s only like a few that I’ve mentioned probably only in this PS comment though which would be the Winnie the Pooh and tigger tooo sonic ones as well and a couple of the other Disney ones like the Mickey Mouse ones but like I said when you ordered those happy meals I like 3 AM in the morning then people say that bad stuff is supposed to happen but again more urban legends, and theories

I agree! It would be great in 2D or in 3D like Sponge on the run. At least, the movie based on the musical will have a good plot; great humor, no humans characters except Patchy. Sounds like a fun film to me 🙂

@@Otisboy121 That would be really something. Because at that point, after 15 seasons, it would make sense to end off on a high note from there. But knowing Nickelodeon, they probably won't adapt this into a feature film because they're too busy recycling the same plotlines ad nauseum and making more unnecessary spin-offs. Like Plankton getting his own movie!
