Sylivia I have the name of kitchen tool you may perhaps ask your parents to purchase it in the USA and ship it to you in Kenya. A grain mill by MOCKMILL-grain mill . I think it would be something you could use in your kitchen fo making flour etc. You should get recipe on how to make the salads and other recipes. Ok. Lovely video.
Milling your own grains for flour will take your bread baking to another level young lady there will be so much you can actually do even baking your own breads or sweet breads . For all of that you would need a proper oven like they do have in the states and a larger apt. But right now take your time you and Koree will get there with each others support. Lovely couple love you guys.
I grew up in Kenya as the daughter of missionaries. I wanted to let you know that in Kenya, Indians are called Asians. In America, Asian means oriental - like Japanese or Chinese. But in Kenya, Asian refers to someone from India. The other thing is - I have never seen food like that in any of the homes of my Asian friends. The owner has gotten these recipes from somewhere else or has made them up himself. This is not the Asian food I grew up with, which is centered on curry, chapatis, and dal. Looks delicious, just not Kenyan Asian.
