I got these. Im an audiophile. They ARE that good. I had both. The 3ANCs are the ones to get. Noise cancelation is good for isolation, and transparency is great while I'm working so I can hear what I'm listening to as well as everything around me. I only wish I would have got the onyx ones.
Yeah, but the 3ANC only come with AAC and SBC, while the a Pro come with Aptx. I would assume, due to all other factors between the two being exactly the same, that the audiophile would go with the earbuds with better codec.
@@RetroKidhardly any difference between AAC and Aptx. Bitrate is nearly the same while AAC is cheaper since the license is free. If its Aptx-hd vs AAC then i would 100% go with aptx-hd in that case
@@camotech1314 They serve a particular purpose and they do it better than the other products like it with its triple driver setup, making them closer to being wireless IEMs than anything else available. They're sufficient. But why would you assume that my wireless earbuds are all I have in regards to what I listen to music with? Should I bring my DT770 PROs and my RNHP Precision amp to work/the gym/the store with me?
@@I2astanah, there's a difference. You can hear it on good setups, earbuds tuned well, and when listening to music streamed not on RUclips or Spotify.

I been rocking these since their early bird release & they’re easily my favorite earbuds in my collection still & I own several, including the original Pros. They might not be the best looking, but they quite comfortable to wear for a long time. I can EASILY recommend these
I own both, here's how I'd reason it: If you need ONE pair that has to do everything, get the 3ANC. Sound quality is great, and ANC and transparency are also very good. If you have other earbuds, get the Pro. The reason for this is the Pro and 3ANC are EXACTLY THE SAME except for 2 important factors. Of course, one is the ANC and transparency, but the more important one that I'm surprised Flossy didn't mention in the beginning, is that the Pro has better codec. For whatever reason, the 3ANC only does SBC and AAC, while the Pro has Aptx. If you have other earbuds that have ANC, then the Pro can focus on audio quality. Also, apps like Wavelet let you customize the EQ on any earbuds, including the Pro.
Apple doesn’t benefit from aptx at all cause they’re all about ecosystem that sucky stuff. So a lot of people are better off buying the 3 ANC when they go on sale since most people I know have an iPhone whether it be new or old. The apple monopoly sucks and I wish I could actually benefit from AptX with my Qudelix 5K without plugging it in.
Even then, there's so many variants of AptX, and unless you're talking about AptX Adaptive or AptX HD, you're still better off going LDAc, which can be found on some surprisingly cheap buds. Better yet, even most devices support LDAC (Pixel, Samsung), but there aren't many that support AptX Lossless, which is arguably the only one better than LDAC in terms of data and sound quality.
I broke down and bought these about 2 months ago and I gotta admit, they are the best sounding earbuds I've ever heard and they don't miss on anything else.

i was one of the guys waiting specifically for that video. got my pair on black friday in the bone color. mines have been a bit more expensive tho since i live in austria. for everyone that’s interested in buying one pair, let me tell you some pros and cons: pros: +lightweight +comfortable (don’t wonder if you have a smaller/bigger tip in one ear) +sound (!!!) +EQ (i like the between pro setting best) +anc and ambient sound mode are ok (has not been my main criteria) +looks (they do stick out a bit but i personally love the rectangular shape, looks smart) +touch and button controls (incl. volume, floss meant there’s none) +hardware feels decent +battery life cons: -anc and ambient sound mode not the best (as mentioned not my main criteria) -always needing to reconnect to the app once closed -no possibility to turn off anc and amb sound mode besides going into the app (annoying since you get the best sound out of them by turning everything off, but once turned off it stays like that until you turn something on again) -codec (i don’t care but some might, better codec doesn’t mean better sound) all in all i’m very happy with my purchase and would probably buy them again. great product. if there are any questions, feel free to ask!
How are they after a bit of time using them? I was thinking between these or the denon Perl pros. I just am a little skeptical of these since I’ve never heard of them and now all of a sudden I’m getting ad after ad of these
@@brianpark2950Sadly, i don't have an opinion because i never compared these 2 headphones, but fit-wise the are okay for my ears. They feel very different compared to AirPods Pro for example. The AirPods kind of just sit and rest inside your ear perfectly without noticing them and seem super easy to get in and out, while the 3ANCs are a bit more of a hassle. Personally i feel the 3ANCs in my Ears all the time but i don't mind. I can still wear them for multiple hours no problem. A friend of mine tried my ANCs and the Buds stuck out quite a bit, so i would suggest you to simply try them and return them if you're not happy.
@@brianpark2950 I can’t tell you because i never tried the denons myself, but i would say they fit pretty well, tho they slip out easier than AirPods Pros for example. You do notice them in your ears.
They have a good fit but you do feel them in your ear and might have to adjust them occasionally. On some people they stick out really far, for me they are fine and sit pretty flush with my ear. Great aesthetics. Unfortunately i have never compared them to the denons, but in comparison to AirPods Pro they fit more like an old regular in ear while the Pros kind of are inside in your ears while hanging. The AirPods seem more comfortable.

I pre-ordered these. My first set, the left earbud randomly stopped working and I was still under warranty, so they sent a new set. The bass is fantastic, sound is crisp, call quality is decent, battery life is an 8+ hour work day if you aren't talking otp, and they charge hella fast. Just MAKE SURE that you DO NOT charge these on a USB-C to USB-C charger. My biggest pet peeve is that you can't turn off the ANC/Ambient Sound without opening the underwhelming, godawful app that crashes way too often. And of course there's no option to automatically disable Ambient Sound when you answer a call, like it does on my old Galaxy Buds. They're my daily drivers until they stop working, but I'm more than likely getting something else afterwards. 4/5 from me.

I was at work on break and I got an ad about these ear buds on my Instagram. The thought I had was "interesting, curious to see how they are, hopefully Floss makes a video about them". I come home to see that he did. This is perfect.
I used to dislike the heck out of the design until I gave them a try. Bruh!!! The fit and sound are heck of a surprise for some doorbell-looking earbuds. That sound is something special along w/ the Ambient sound. I prefer the Original EQ along with a Custom from here to there. Thx for showing how they move ya and hope others try them to hear the heat!
I'm impressed with the customizability as far as fit goes. They give you three different outer-ear cushion sizes and three different size tips. I was uncomfortable with the small-size outer-ear cushion and the medium-size tip that comes default with the earbuds. Switched it up and found a nice sweet spot with the medium-size outer-ear cushions and the small-size tips. They sound amazing too, I'm re-listening to some of my favorite tracks and I found myself thinking "Wait a minute, that's what it's supposed to sound like??" It's the earbud equivalent to trying on prescription glasses for the first time after years of stubborn near-sightedness

I'll admit, I gave in and bought my Between 3 ANCs from constant ads on the Gram and I could not be happier. I've been into higher end headphones for some years now and haven't found earbuds that gave me the kind of listening I wanted until I got these. Personally I don't use the ANC or Ambient Sound very often but I love what they offer in those departments. Great earbuds and great review Floss.

I have to get the Tozo headphones, being the headphones junkie I am. I have some AKGs, Roland, Ultrasone, Audio Technica, and others, but none of those are BT. The Tozo would be a deal. I have a nice Open Ear Bone Conduction set when I am in the go, but have a cheap Lenovo set, and my SamSung Galaxy Buds Pro, but I am estatic over these!!!! They are incredible! The looks are fine, especially with the Onyx finish, and everyone that knows about them will recognize them. The definition and sound stage is beyond description compared to the others. I hear all the little nuances of the instruments, vocal breaths, and even musical instruments, percussion and other parts I never heard before on familiar songs. Blown away. I love my music, but this takes it to a whole new level.
Tap & hold R/L earbud for Vol up & down as you hold vol keeps going up or down. Wearing these now. I use foam tips. Using ANC in the house by myself watching something crazy on TV... Immersive as hell. High-key scary as hell 😅
They're good. Very good. I used them daily for a few months. They sound GREAT for music. They're very comfortable also. The design threw me off at first but I got used to them after a while. But the biggest drawback for me..... The reason I had to put them in my drawer was THE CALL QUALITY IS AWFUL. Especially with ANY type of background noise. Also, they don't pause when you remove them from your ear(s). And 1 more thing, the app is super basic

Finally! I've been waiting for them to show up on your channel. I've owned mine for almost a year now. I purchased these literally less than 24 hours after receiving my between pros and I've been hooked ever since
I bought a pair of the Status 3 ANC on BLack Friday for 139. And I gave my wife my Status Pros.. she wants another pair they Trump all my other earbuds even though the ANC is not better than Bose. But for what I need they are phenomenal.
I've owned both of these, and lemme tell you the 3ANC are the TRUTH. Period. Challenge your friends with Sennheisers, B&Os, Nuratrue, I don't care. The EQ actually improves on the Pro's sound if you can believe it. And the addition of NC, Ambient, and touch controls just make it that much better. BUY THESE - you won't be disappointed. Also they come out of the case easier.

What blew my mind was after almost a year I had an issue while changing ear tips; Status Audio sent me a new pair! Okay keep wondering which are best but to some of us: Status 3 ANC
I got the OG when they were on Kickstarter and loved them. Only reason I stopped using them was because I needed transparency mode for work lol. I will eventually get the 3ANC though.

They do control the volume. Volume goes up if you hold the right side and goes down if you hold the left. No compromises! I love these earbuds!

The looks are fine, especially with the Onyx finish, and everyone that knows about them will recognize them.
The definition and sound stage is beyond description compared to the others. I hear all the little nuances of the instruments, vocal breaths, and even musical instruments, percussion and other parts I never heard before on familiar songs. Blown away. I love my music, but this takes it to a whole new level.
Tap & hold R/L earbud for Vol up & down as you hold vol keeps going up or down. Wearing these now. I use foam tips. Using ANC in the house by myself watching something crazy on TV... Immersive as hell. High-key scary as hell 😅
They're good. Very good. I used them daily for a few months. They sound GREAT for music. They're very comfortable also. The design threw me off at first but I got used to them after a while. But the biggest drawback for me..... The reason I had to put them in my drawer was THE CALL QUALITY IS AWFUL. Especially with ANY type of background noise. Also, they don't pause when you remove them from your ear(s). And 1 more thing, the app is super basic

i had the same struggle unboxing my status between 3anc. and i got these bad boys for 135 on a nice sale around black Friday.
I bought a pair of the Status 3 ANC on BLack Friday for 139. And I gave my wife my Status Pros.. she wants another pair they Trump all my other earbuds even though the ANC is not better than Bose. But for what I need they are phenomenal.

I've owned both of these, and lemme tell you the 3ANC are the TRUTH. Period. Challenge your friends with Sennheisers, B&Os, Nuratrue, I don't care. The EQ actually improves on the Pro's sound if you can believe it. And the addition of NC, Ambient, and touch controls just make it that much better. BUY THESE - you won't be disappointed. Also they come out of the case easier.
