  • "The Man I Love" was written by George and Ira Gershwin for the 1924 musical comedy “Lady, Be Good”. However, the song was not used here and later in 1927 it was put into the musical satire “Strike Up the Band”. Ella Fitzgerald’s stunning version appeared on her 1959 studio album “Ella Sings The George And Ira Gershwin Song Books”.
Along with this are images of the iconic works of Tamara De Lempicka. She was in huge demand in the 1920's and 1930's and would epitomize the cool yet sensual side of the Art Deco movement. As you can see from the images here, she was mostly famous for her unique portraits in which she used what was referred to as "Soft Cubism". It has been described as was clean, precise, and elegant, but at the same time charged with sensuality Enjoy!! Thank You For Your Comments.
