I just put my Orange friend Sixten to sleep after 13 years, he was loyal to me like a dog, I'm a grown as man but I cried like a little girl, he was my best friend and I adored him. 13 years of unconditional love and a lot of laughs and good times, I will never forget him.
I was lucky enough to have a stray cat walk right into my garage one day. She is the most sweetest polite and beautiful calico cat. I have always had dogs but I fell in love with this cat who came around my house for months day and night before I brought her inside to live her best life.
When I was 11 years old back in late September 1981 that I became best friend with a big stray red tabby cat. He was a big sweetie towards me and my family. He stuck around the backyard. He was a dirty cat. One neighbor’s son wanted to pet him. She didn’t want her son to pet the cat because he was dirty. Once he was adopted into our house in mid November 1981. He became friends with our 1st cat. He was also a red tabby cat that was also a stray,too. Both cats grew up together in friendship to each other. The 2nd cat was my best friend for a little bit over 12 years. I was the only person that he trusted for belly rubs on my belly. He stayed in that position for a hour or more. My mother tried to do it towards him but, lasted for 5 minutes. Both cats were sweet and friendly in different ways. The first cat lived with both of my parents almost 18 years. He was a good buddy towards me when he gotten older just liked he was a young cat in cuddling with his family. We had a 3rd cat that came around in June 1993 and was adopted in mid November 1993 in to our home. He was a cute tuxedo cat. He was a funny cat. He had mood swings. He even played with our first cat. He was a little bit afraid of our 2nd cat. I was sad when our 2nd cat got put down in March of 1994. He had a cancerous tumor in him. He was sweet and friendly towards the end. I had one good last cuddle with him as he curled up in my lap. My sister had him overnight to sleep in bed with her.
This brings back memories of my boy as a kitten. I could not get ANYTHING done for 3 months. He was always in my lap, playing with everything l tried to do. He would rip up bills while l was trying to pay them, snatch the pen out of my hand etc. He also loved water, and his favourite toy was a felt mouse. It's still his favourite!
Cats usually like cardboard boxes, any box from the shop....and in a while the kitten's instict will probably say 'hunt mouse, catch bird' and kitten will want to go outside to forfill it's life's job/task.😀
Hi, enjoy your kitten. I too, have a ginger (my first one unfortunately had to put him to sleep, most terrible, traumatic experience ever!) My current gingie is also full of himself he is about 5 yrs old. His companion is Sophie, a tuxedo 7yrs old. She is more laid back, shyish.
Ah. Such sweet chaos. I adopted a trio of bonded littermates at 6 months old. They’re nearly 3 now and the chaos has not stopped but I love them for it for sure. That’s why I still call them the chaos triplets. 😂
Hahahaha love the unexpected (a bit expected maybe) end 😂 As someone who is crazy about cats and who has 3 (no need to call social services…just yet), I would recommend not to show all the toys all at once to your cat. He can get overstimulated and then end up not being interested at all. It’s better to let him play with one or two toys at a time, so that when you show him a new one he gets excited again 😊 By the way, Toulousse looks gorgeous (and so does the newest-new kitten) 🥰🥰
I’m getting a little ginger kitten from a farm next week and he’s 9/10 weeks old I can’t wait he looks the spit of your kitten! I can’t wait! Thanks for this video cause I have been struggling to make a list of what I need so I found this really helpful
