It genuinely fills my heart with joy to see that you chose to adopt a senior cat. That is so sweet and you gave him a chance at a better life, so thank you!!😭
He seems shockingly aware of his situation. Wow, 13 years old. He’s probably seen and experienced a lot. He looks like he loves you a lot and is thankful you got him out of the shelter. This is so sweet and he does look like Dior.
That first moment when Loki realized that he was not in a cage, but a house is so precious! He's a beautiful boy and if he seems a little shy, remember that he has a past that you know little of. He may have been lost or put out by someone or his owner may have passed away. It's up to you to give him all the love he can accept. I'm sure he'll fall in love with you I'm no time! Siamese cats only love one way...completely! He is such a gorgeous fellow! You, young woman, are beautiful, too! What a pair you make!
I adopted a 13 year old cat with a sad life story. As a kitten, "Miss Kitty" as I named her, had been hit by a car. It created a problem with her hind quarters. She could move her bowels, but had trouble because the damage from the accident broke some bones and made the opening to pass her bowels severely constricted. She had been in a shelter her ENTIRE life, because no one wanted to have to risk spending a large amount of money due to injuries from the accident. The shelter named her "Skid Mark" (which I found cruel) because when she was brought in to them, you could still see the tire marks on her back. I gave her one terrific year, until the degeneration from the accident closed her up so that she could no longer move her bowels unless she had diarrhea. It broke my heart, but I had to make THAT decision. Many, many tears were shed. But I take such solace in knowing that I gave Miss Kitty the happiest year of her life, free from looking through the bars of the various cages she lived in throughout her life.
Thank you so much for showing Miss Kitty love! In the shelter for 13 YEARS?! That is insanity. Poor thing. You definitely did give her the best time of her life and you let her know love and peace and kindness.
This is so wonderful! Here's a suggestion.... try to see him as a "cat" and not so much as a "senior cat".... kitties can live - and be quite active - well into their 20s! High quality wet food (Weruva is a great brand), lots of play time and of course love and Dior could very well be with you for awhile!
I AGREE. CATS AND DOGS CAN LIVE LONGER. SPREAD THE WORD! IT HELPS TO TRY A HIGH QUALITY CAT FOOD. I USE HILLS SCIENCE DIET, and PURINA ONE FOR A SENIOR CAT TAKE IT TO THE VET FOR A FULL SENIOR BLOOD PANEL. ITLL CHECK HOW ALL THE VITAL ATE DOING. EARLY
I've adopted five elderly cats in the last ten years. I'm so happy for this guy! You can trim his nails if they're catching on furniture and clothes. Also, they can't clean themselves as well as they get older so I buy little cat wipes. Just wipe him off and brush him...he'll probably enjoy it. BTW, Wilson lived to be 17, we had him for five years. We had his brother, Sebastian, until he was 19. Charles lived to be 17. Bonnie, who just died, was with us for four years and she was about 16 but had kidney problems. You don't know how long you'll have Dior, but he will live a wonderful life with you, I'm sure.
He is so freaking pretty gosh, I'm a foster and this is honestly the fastest I've seen a cat decompress, he's had alot of experience bendito Hope you guys have a great life, he looks like the sweetest boy
he is the absolute sweetest boy! since the first night he always falls asleep next to my head and wraps his arms around my face. I jokingly call him a “stage 5 clinger”, but he is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I am so thankful for this experience and to get to spoil him in his senior years ☺️☺️
Thank you for adopting an older kitty! We adopted a ten year old kitty girl four years ago and she is a love. Please keep him and give him lots of love for the rest of his life. ❤️❤️❤️
Thats great. i bets shes a cutie! im a vet volunteer. cats can live longer. i have an 18 y o. heres a suggestion for longevity: Upgrade your cats food a bit at a time. many if the regular brands are unhealthy, according to studies. try Hills science diet (or Purina One). Cut back on dry food, canned mixed with a little water is healthier. Also, take your cat in for a Full Senior Blood Panel. its quick and it tests vital organs for any issues. early. 🐱 🐾.
He's a handsome fella and looks to be in good health despite the few things. And pretty chill too. Since he's made it this far, he probably has plenty of good years to come.
he does have a brain tumor that we’ve discovered! however is heavily monitored & is on pain meds & seizure meds to make him comfortable ☺️ otherwise all is normal and he’s a happy kitty who still loves to play and snuggle!!
I have a Siamese, she turned 12 in July. I have had her since she was about 9 weeks old. She is extremely spoiled, yes, I did it. I needed something in my life after my husband passed away and she has filled that spot.
Dior is just beautiful, and so are you - adopting him and giving him such a great home. Seniors are some of the last cats, or dogs, adopted, if at all. You did an awesome thing. He's got that little tooth thing going on, like our senior Grizz. Kind of looks like Grizz a bit, too Our oldest cats were 22. So you could have Dior for some time 😸 And you'll both love every minute. Adopting a senior cat is the best thing ever! They really, really know you're giving them a second chance My husband and I were just talking about this tonight - we took an abandoned senior cat off the streets before he finally died from the cold. I couldn't stand watching him all squinched up, trying to stay warm. Someone was feeding him, but wouldn't let him inside. So Dec 23rd, we finally got him, Grizz, and he - I swear - KNOWS we saved his life. Whatever room we're in, he's in 💞💕💗
Thats great. i bets he’s a cutie! im a vet volunteer. cats can live longer. i have an 18 y o. heres a suggestion for longevity: Upgrade your cats food a bit at a time. many if the regular brands are unhealthy, according to studies. try Hills science diet (or Purina One). Looking forward to more videos! Im a 62 year old certified “old cat lady”, and extremely experienced with having cats. You are in for a wonderful experience!

I can't imagine giving up a sweet little guy like Loki!😢 I would, at the very least, find someone I know, or someone they know to take him. I wonder what the circumstances were. I hope they didn't die on him.
You get to touch THE FLOOF! The softest fur in catcreation; (Belly-underbelly) Mr. Dior settled in nicely, it seems and enjoys his time with you. Enjoy the ride.
Truly these two found eachother. I had a rescued siamese mixed cat for many years. Just like your guy he had been the most sweet and thankful cat ever. Btw the looking at you for longer periods ist very normal for siamese cats, it's their way of showing their love.
it feels like I’ve had him his entire life, he has both physically and mentally made my life so much better and it feels much more complete! also I was looking up the history of Siamese cats, apparently originated in Thailand and they were bred to guard temple statues, the folk tale is that’s why they stare and are cross eyed because they stare intensely out of protection and admiration ☺️
I have adopted a senior Snowshoe Siamese. He was 12 and had character and it was the beginning of four years of love. It was genuinely worth it! He was so cuddly and human oriented! Since this I have adopted three more elder cats and the reward for me has been well worth it!
Tears of joy and gratitude to you. This senior kitty is blessed to have you as his loving hoooman. I hope you will serve as an inspiration to others to consider adopting esp senior cats and dogs. Bec they only have few years remaining in this planet. God bless you both
He's not old. My one cat was 22 when he pasted away. He needs time to adjust to his new home. I have 16 cats many who are 10 yrs and some older who adopted from my backyard because people threw them out of their homes
God bless you and your sweet cat. Brought tears to my eyes seeing you playing with him. My beloved 16 year old cat passed 3 weeks ago and I miss him so very much.
Oh gosh! You don't even know how happy I am for him... he has a home now and how happy I am that you adopted a homeless cat! Thank you so much! He is so cute!❤️❤️
My brother adopted a 13 year old tabby named Lucy in Pa. She’s a good girl aside from a few litter box issues . She’s happy . I’m glad you did the same ! Pretty cat !!!!
He’s so beautiful and cute! And you’re adorable, you remind me of my niece. I have fostered dogs, and to see how quickly Loki - Dior decompressed with you is amazing. He loves you so much!!
Just like human seniors, senior cats have plenty of love and companionship to offer. Adopting Loci will end lovelyness for both of you. Live life and enjoy !
I wish you the best each ^^ thks a lot for this buddy ^^ I cant imagine my life without my cat ! Grettings from Belgium (Minouche my cat watchable on my channel)
I'm so happy you found each other. We foster cats and it's always satisfying when one of our fosters goes on to a good forever home. We miss them of course, so there's a little sadness when we say goodbye, but mainly happiness.
When i was a kid we had Siamese cats & some are cross eyed that is so cute i think. He can have dry food for in between his wet meals. Keep his Cat box in a seperate area where he has privacy to go poddy. Lots of luck w your new furbaby & so wonderful for you to adopt a Senior Kitty. 🐈⬛🐾💞💞
As cliche as this sounds, that cat picked you. The headbutts and immediate purring is such a great thing to see. Good on you for adopting an adult cat too, as they are often overlooked for cute kittens. I took in a 4 yr old adult cat that hung around my workplace, and I could not have asked for a better cat! The rescues know when they have been saved. Thanks for sharing this video with us👍
An angelic cat for sure - we're so glad that you adopted this beautiful furbabe. We love all cats, especially the senior ones - they're a lot calmer & more loving for sure. A better fit with our simple lifestyle.
Thank you so much for adopting a senior cat! He does have several years in him and, in his new luxury life, I'm sure it will be longer than you think. BTW, his cross eyes are due to the siamese in him. So cute!
You have to earn a cats trust. They’re not like dogs where they will love anybody that glances their way. Once he knows you’re going to keep him and take care of him. He will be devoted to you. You have to earn his trust because that’s how cats are. He’s beautiful and I’m so glad you took him home with you. Just love him and he will love you back. God bless you for giving him, a golden life in his golden years. I have two golden cats. One is 15 and is very healthy and one is 14 and has just been diagnosed with diabetes, but I will give her the best life ever for whatever time I have with her. I have had them both since they were kittens.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've watched this video a few times now because it is so heartwarming. Thank you for giving this beautiful senior cat a happy home. Cats can live very long lives-especially indoor cats. My ex had a 22 year old Siamese. The color and markings on Dior's face and his blue eyes remind me a lot of my see cat except my old boy is long haired Blue Lynx ragdoll. I wish you and Dior many, many happy and healthy years together.
Senior cats are the best! They are so appreciative of everything you do for them. Yes, kittens are adorable but they only stay kittens for a little while. Senior cats are more mellow and, in my experience, are more interested in interacting with you than kittens, who are busy chasing around burning off all that energy. I only adopt older adult cats. More people should give them a try.
thank you for adopting an older boy ! older cats are just want the most cuddles ! I can recommend you crush up the biscuits into a powder and sprinkle it on top of the food ! our older gentleman winston really enjoys food like that. I wish you both the best !
He is so beautiful, he reminds me of our Blue Point Siamese cat. He was born September 1st 1966, he passed 1980. Sammy was a gift for my Mom from her friend. We went to breeder in Manhattan, my Dad wanted a Russian Blue. So when I saw him, knew he was perfect for my Dad. They were best buds for years. 8 years after he passed we adopted a Black and White Tuxedo cat, who was half Russian Blue. He had been badly abused by his first owner. We got him when he was 10 months old.
He is too handsome ❤. So I have a Himalayan Scottish mix. She’s the same color has a Smokey gray mask on her face so cute. I to changed her name , from Molly to Halsey Blu. That fits her butter, she now 1 yrs old, I grew up with pets I had mostly dogs but I had a cat. But you will enjoy him
My 3rd cat (Valjean) was a street adoption here in Korea. He was skinny and dirty and matted in 2017 when he came to live here. He has stomatitis, which we treated with meds for years. 2020 he had dental extractions (except his 4 fangs) and it was a game changer. My guy is estimated at 10 now. He’s up to 15 pounds! Triple his adoption weight, but still smaller than his brother. I’m glad Loki/Dior has a nice place to live his life!
Great job!!! You're being a fantastic fur-mumma💜💙💚🐈😻. He's very blessed having you and you him. Cats are such great therapy for us humans. You've done a wonderful thing for his mental health🤩🥰🤗👍🏼. Love your videos and snaps. Especially when Dior is looking from behind you sleeping 😂👏🏼👌🏼.
I heard the same thing.. cats should get wet food (because they don't drink enough and they can get dehydrated) if they get water in their wet food, that's good for them. He is impossibly sweet ..but so are you and I hope you have a lot of time together.. He's probably smart enough, but my brother says, 'there's unsupervised toys and supervised toys' - you shouldn't give them feathers unsupervised, cause they could eat/chew them and choke on them

For everyone asking for an update!! here is the update on Mr. Dior!!
Older cats are the best, they tend to be much more grateful when they are rescued.
It genuinely fills my heart with joy to see that you chose to adopt a senior cat. That is so sweet and you gave him a chance at a better life, so thank you!!😭
Yeah every one goses for the kittens
Thank you for adopting a shelter/rescue cat!! There’s so many cats in need, im always happy when people choose to adopt a rescue
He seems shockingly aware of his situation. Wow, 13 years old. He’s probably seen and experienced a lot. He looks like he loves you a lot and is thankful you got him out of the shelter. This is so sweet and he does look like Dior.
My cat is 14 years old now I got her at three years old the thought of ever losing her is unbearable she is part of me by now
Cats believe in miracles!
He is the sweetest boy I have ever met! I am so lucky. He is doing well & is as healthy as can be for his age :)
Senior cats are more smoochy
I think he is 10
He is going to be so loved for the rest of his life. You were the light at the end of his tunnel
he is so loved & so spoiled!! truly feels like i was meant to find him :) 🤍🤍
Beautifully said ❤

He is the sweetest, most handsome, and well-mannered boy! I got extremely lucky with him. He is so cuddly and smart. 🥰

And adopting any cat
Totally agree❤

He's "Lucky" to have found you, now he's "Dior" cause the life he's living now...🥰
He looks so sweet❤
You are right. He is sooo cute!
Looking forward to more videos! Im a 62 year old certified “old cat lady”, and extremely experienced with having cats. You are in for a wonderful experience!

You are so kind! I just had a gut feeling I was supposed to meet him & I truly feel like it was meant to be :) thank you!!
I can't imagine giving up a sweet little guy like Loki!😢 I would, at the very least, find someone I know, or someone they know to take him. I wonder what the circumstances were. I hope they didn't die on him.
It really upsets me to see these precious creatures stuck in those tiny prisons without so much as a toy! It's Cruel!
Thanks for adopting a senior! 🎉🎉 he seems so precious!
It really is!

May you have a beautiful life with ur cat
I have adopted a senior Snowshoe Siamese. He was 12 and had character and it was the beginning of four years of love. It was genuinely worth it! He was so cuddly and human oriented! Since this I have adopted three more elder cats and the reward for me has been well worth it!
So awesome!!! You gave an opportunity to a life, to a senior life. Thanks! You are adorable...🥰 Keep up posted!!!...♥️
That's amazing that he warmed up to u so quickly 😁
Nothing like the love of a sweet cat. You love him and he loves you. Hes beautiful
With love & care, your furbaby can live to 20 years plus. God's blessings to you both!1
Thank you for adopting a senior cat. I think Loki suits him because he is so chill (low key).
Tears of joy and gratitude to you. This senior kitty is blessed to have you as his loving hoooman. I hope you will serve as an inspiration to others to consider adopting esp senior cats and dogs. Bec they only have few years remaining in this planet. God bless you both

My brother adopted a 13 year old tabby named Lucy in Pa. She’s a good girl aside from a few litter box issues . She’s happy . I’m glad you did the same ! Pretty cat !!!!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh my goodness, he is so cute. And his little purrs. Oh my goodness enjoy your precious cat and your precious heart!
Thank you for adopting an older cat! I am glad your not one of those people who only get kittens
He’s so beautiful and cute! And you’re adorable, you remind me of my niece. I have fostered dogs, and to see how quickly Loki - Dior decompressed with you is amazing. He loves you so much!!

He’s a beautiful boy! It’s so great that you adopted him so he can have a loving home. ❤️🐈⬛
I had to subscribe because you and your senior cat have beautiful souls.
Love this! Really fills my heart that theirs still people who don’t let cats die in shelter instead of spending the rest of their life with them! ❤❤
Thank you for adopting and for adopting a older/senior pet

Hes beautiful. so glad you took him home, lots of love there, makes my heart smile when people adopt pets,😻
he is my baby 💗 im so lucky our paths crossed
Senior cats are the best! They are so appreciative of everything you do for them. Yes, kittens are adorable but they only stay kittens for a little while. Senior cats are more mellow and, in my experience, are more interested in interacting with you than kittens, who are busy chasing around burning off all that energy. I only adopt older adult cats. More people should give them a try.
Lovely stuff! Collecting my 12 year old rescue Ragdoll this afternoon 😍😍
Oh, what a love! He is so sweet! Thank you for adopting him!🥰
This is so precious! You guys are so lucky
thank you for adopting an older boy ! older cats are just want the most cuddles ! I can recommend you crush up the biscuits into a powder and sprinkle it on top of the food ! our older gentleman winston really enjoys food like that. I wish you both the best !
You’re an excellent kitty mom!
Thank you for saving this senior soul
i had a cat living to 25
Im adopting a cat who is 2 years old. I hope he likes me just as much as Loki loves youuuuu. Very wholesome video and encouraging for senior cats.
omg congrats!! all pets are so loving as long as you care for them :)
He’s going to love it there.
But you will enjoy him
Dior is gorgeous and endearing. You two have really bonded! ❤️🐈🥰
he’s definitely got me wrapped around his little paws!! ☺️
Cats live a long time! Enjoy!
Thx for your love. There are medical expenses but do it!
Bless you for adopting a senior kitty!! ❤️
Mr. Dior is beautiful. You make a beautiful family!!
That’s beautiful!
I'm adopting a 1 year old calico cat tomorrow and I'm so excited, I hope she loves her new home :')
Shower her with so much love!! that’s so exciting for you and your new furbaby. 🩷
He's so lucky to have you. You picked the right one. Enjoy every second of your cat's love❤.
Thank you for giving this little guy a loving home. I can tell you’re a good hearted person ❤
