Solid top end speed, great hands, tackles well. Does not seem to have explosive quickness and takes a second or two to get going. Clearly the best athlete on the field in all of this tape. Sounds like his level of HS competition isn't all that great, but I'd be willing to bet he'll overachieve if someone gives him a chance. I suspect he'll end up at SS or maybe someone tries to put weight on him and stick him at LB. Fun video Matt and you're a good guy for giving this kid some exposure.

All you GROWN MEN please keep in mind this is a KID you are talking about…not an NFL player. Here are the answers to some questions. - Aja just got an offer from UCLA today! - Aja has over 20 D1’s showing interest no one wanted to be the 1st to offer - Aja is fast he is a 3 time USATF All-American (Track Houston) was just at the Junior Olympics last summer and competed in FBU - TopGun days prior - Aja has a 3.7 GPA per his transcript - We still have love for 6A Shadow Creek but I made Aja transfer (not going to get into why) he did make Varsity in football and track (4X2 was nationally ranked) as a sophomore…we have traveled all over the country and he has smoked the competition in Vegas, Cleveland, Columbus, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Tampa, Nashville, and made ALL-CAMP TEAM for nearly all of them - Genetics both parents D1…Dad Football at Ohio U. @ Preaching to the choir here. It is clear when you look at the other guys on the field that there aren't many starters for any of the highly ranked teams in any of the divisions in Texas HS so not only is he the best player on the field, he isn't dominating them like I have seen MANY players from Gilmer, Longview, Carthage and lots of other ET HS teams dominate games over the years.

This is very compelling, watching how they grew one cup in less than a month was admittedly surprising, I went with what I commented about Mika Klopsworth, although confess it took a full 6 weeks to become 2 cups bigger. Took a bit longer yes, bur googling what she posted, definitely they’re fuller and firmer than I expected!

He plays in a non-UIL league in Texas and didn't get 1000 yards and runs a 4.44? He is already going to college camps in Texas and no one has offered? 90+% of the D-1 players in Texas in 4A and below play both ways and still put up monster numbers. I hope he is a true beast, but there aren't any hidden gems in Texas HS football, at least none that have a coach with an internet connection.

Just so you know, a safety at Texas, Michael Taafe, was a walk-on at UT and he was selected as an all-American this year and may go pro (he's a junior).
Big ups for you man. A page called Juco football Forer helped me get my offers to D1 and dude ended up being awesome for me. He was also Uncle/cousins w the pouncey twins.
He plays at LSA in the TAPPS Division II. I played football in Texas and that division is known for being pretty butt and that could contribute to him having no offers. If he could transfer to a winning 5A or 6A school he could help his case

I always thought that if a kid had what it took to play he would be found. I mean a player in high school who was good would certainly be seen and noticed. If this kid is as good as his film reel then all I can say is there must be something else that is keeping the offers away. Back in my “white Randy” days in Texas I was an RB and on my team we had an RB that was like that player times 2. He made fools of linebackers and DBs on just about every play. He was an idiot though, a poor student and a stupid kid. After the season he pissed of the coaches and they told every scout that asked after him that he was a bad player, uncoachable. He got no D1 offers. He went to a D2 school and never got his stuff together.
