- The fine folks of Minus the Bear invited me into their practice space back in April and I could not have been more thrilled. The boys played "Fulfill the Dream" from their incredible album 'Menos El Oso' and "Fair Enough" a brand new track.

I miss Erin :-(
Although Erin Tate will be missed, I've gotta say that the new drummer nails it both on their old stuff and on the new song they showed.

why in the name of fuck its self aren't these guys on top of the charts. every album has been a journey of its own and all new styles and beats and melodies and fuck i don't know just how the fuck do they do it. all my songs are just a repeated chords progression

@@kris7bs I feel like the new drummer sounds robotic. Nothing like how Erin sounded even if he's beat for beat correct.
@@GetUnwoke Not trying start comment war lol but if you close your eyes you wouldn't be able to tell who's playing. We'll never come to an agreement of the subjective feeing vs the objective fact that he's playing the parts note for note that Erin recorded. The point is I miss Minus the Bear :(
@@kris7bs every drummer plays things differently even if it's the same piece of music. it's like saying two people talk exactly alike or write exactly alike when everyone has their own flair however similar it may be at a distance. not trying to dig too deeply into it but it's just something I noticed between the two drummers. and yes I agree I miss them and will always miss them but tbh I couldn't stand listening to their new music. I hope they create new projects though and share with their fans soon enough. :D
@@GetUnwoke I'll see this in all caps: COULD NOT AGREE MORE THAT THE NEW MUISC WAS AWFUL. They abandoned their sound and lyrics so hard, so disappointing. It's like when a relative lies too long, I'll choose to remember the good years rather than the ladder.

Anybody know who the new drummer is? Is it Erin's former tech?
Saw them a few week ago in Dallas and, whoever he is, he was great! He has a flamboyant style (in part due to his tall, lanky build) that was fun to watch.
