some things don't change, i was a little kid in the early 2000s yet i'm right there with you. it's a cool summer night with the windows open, the pond in our backyard's flooded again and the frogs have made home in it and i listen to them as i drift off 😴
What I find so beautiful about nature is that it's a constant. Unlike music, movies, tv, or fashion where our generations may differ a love for nature is timeless and something every generation has an opportunity to experience.
Same here. I'm taken back to my childhood bedroom with open windows hearing the frogs & crickets from nearby pond & bog. With occasional car driving by. Perfect.
Had a pool growing up full of frogs and tadpoles,, sounded like this as soon as the sun started to make its way down on the horizon,, thank you for sharing
Just like at my gramp's house, except that there was a large amount of bullfrogs too. Not complaining about the lack of bullfrogs though, they get quite loud! Ha ha ha!

I just heard our first tree frogs of the summer just now at 2am July 29th,2024 in Dayton Ohio USA &it brought back such longing for times gone by and melancholy feelings, I left my window open!& Thought to myself, "I have to find a tree frog sounds at night black screen on RUclips!" And I typed it in&Your beautiful video from 6 years ago popped up & I immediately saved it to my "Sounds to sleep to" playlist I've made! You are glorious and wonderful to record this and upload it for so many of us to enjoy!! I can hear raccoons, owls, crickets, tree frogs, bats, mockingbird!? (they will make sounds at night! As I hear a night bird every once in awhile on this?!) and many other night critters singing w the tree frogs you recorded!! I love this!! Mother Nature's music!! Blessings to all! (Oooh New Subscriber!! I love your channel!! Wow! Great stuff!!! I truly love the black screens that have no backlight coming thru whatsoever the best, as I play the. One of the most relaxing sounds ever, and one of my favorite childhood memories. I would listen to treefrogs singing in the woods behind our house every summer. I'd have my window open after a hot humid day, and they would lull me to sleep. I miss it so much. Now I'm in LA and the noises at night by comparison are dreadful. Thank you for this video so I can relive those summers
This is the best!! The perfect sound i was looking for... it's february, we had candles going ("camp fire"), music playing in the background, and a good card game going after dinner. I kept the sound going while cleaning up the kitchen afterwards.... just like a wonderful summer night with the windows open but no mosquitoes. thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you! This is the only one I have found that DOES go totally black screen! The person complaining about that logo, just didn’t watch more than a few minutes and see the logo disappear and the screen go completely black! Absolutely perfect!
Outstanding !! This sounds exactly like a summers evening here where I live in western Pa !!! And the sound quality is tremendous !! This will come in handy during the long cold Winters we get here to help get thru cabin fever that sets in during February and March..thanks for sharing 👍😊

There's constant road noise, although it's low enough that if played at sleeping levels you might not notice it. The recording this was produced from was clearly made in a suburban area with a busy urban center within ear shot. I used to make nature sounds recordings myself and I know that's a real challenge to avoid. It was always the goal.
i finally figured out that those calls are grey treefrogs! They’re so nostalgic and I never knew if what I was hearing were crickets or frogs, and it took a lot of research(many frog noise videos, ended up looking up frogs specific to my state and had to dog through the various noise samples) at least I know what to look for now!

An ad woke me up at 4am... Screen suddenly turned on bright white with a man yelling. I know it's not your fault and that it's happening to all videos, but I fear it means an end to my many years of listening to ambient sounds on RUclips. 😢
Most of what you hear is spring peepers. I have to listen to a tree frog on my neighbors property at night . Damn loud and totally annoying. I'd really like to kill it.
Since you live so far into the wilderness or country side where you don’t hear the running of vehicles or factories that run all night why don’t you just open a window and listen to actual nature 😂😂.

Honestly, I think the rumbling in the background's quite nice. Makes it feel all the more real and immersive.
I agree I searched for one that sounded like a camp with gravel tire sounds are perfect!
I use an EQ app if I want more/less rumble/hiss. Works great for my sleep sounds.

Mostly SE USA tree frogs, some pond frogs, katydids, and a few crickets. Heard a bird chirp once.
