Standing up for your rights is not antagonising. So why is being an angry, dirty little swine - like the bloke who abused his powers - regarded by you as being in the right?
Has there ever been a time when someone films the police private cars for malicious intent? I've done a couple of searches and found nothing to backup the claim that anyone has filmed police cars private or not for malicious purposes so no they aren't right here as far as I can see.
I liked how the last cop overcame the urge to take the situation further. You could clearly see him struggle but he let it go. Maybe he remembered that he's supposed to enforce laws and not concerns or uncomfortable feelings. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Sweden.

I’m not wasting my time anymore and this will be the last I’ll say on the subject. I’ve moved on. Have a nice day.
When they tell you other officers may question you simply tell them “great, more content for me”. Thank them for playing the game and contributing to your ever expanding bank account
@Barry Thomson. I don't think matts a bell end, I wouldn't personally go out doing what he does and that also includes the train spotting but he does have a legal right to do it. There's no stipulations in the law and reasons required for doing it. However I would say there is a deeper philosophical point to what's being done and that is if police (not all of them and not in this instance) are willing to lie on camera, such as stating "you have to give me your name" and abusing section 43/50 then what are they willing to do off camera? Maybe this kind of activities are what is required to nudge the chiefs into straighting some of the creases out.
@Barry Thomson. No worries about being civil, I'm ex forces and I've had jumped up students accuse me of being a baby killer. It's not nice. But I am a free speech absolutist. As was recently said by two judges "the freedom to only speak inoffensive is not freespeech worth having" which takes me back to what Matt is doing. Strange isn't illegal, neither is suspicious, offensive isn't a crime and photography is perfectly legal. I wouldn't do it myself and I wouldn't like it happening to me however my alive would be to just be polite, agree with their rights, answer all questions honestly then walk away.
@Barry Thomson. to add a bit more. A few bad apples isn't necessarily wrong however I do believe that can be as an excuse (not by you personally) by organisations, in this case the police, to renege on their responsibility and accountability. It may be more a training issue throughout the whole of the force that may require more than leaflets being sent out.
@Barry Thomson. No. They had no powers to move Mat from where he was, he wasn't doing anything illegal - filming and Photography Is Not A Crime, nor is being in a publicly accessible place. If you have no time for what Mat is doing, that's perfectly fine, your choice, why bother taking the time out of your life to cast assumptions on the fella and name call him for what he does? Instead, why don't you find a channel you do have time for and make nice comments on there? There are plenty of channels bootlicking the establishment, find one of them and maybe find contentment in your life. Get out and enjoy your daily exercise instead of following people you don't like on a platform you don't like.
Don’t you just hate it when they casually start to take notes of the photographer undertaking a lawful activity and try to make out that your right to anonymity is a red flag rather than a right?
Legend has it that PC "Sherlock" is still walking around months later, muttering dark thoughts about RUclips likes, cameras and how his safety is compromised after he stepped outside. Meanwhile big clown try's very hard to finish his colouring in book, but is defeated and walks away.
When they ask what you are doing say something like "I am a British citizen going about my lawful business. That is public photography. Are you making my lawful activity suspicious? Are you attempting to infringe upon my civil, civic and human rights?."
The police is now a corporation registered at companies House, under HM Parliaments Plc. So it's now private, you can object to paying for them in your council tax under section 14a of the local government finance act 1992.
@Prozac Blade Why is it bollox? Just cos you don't like it? The police authority own the station and land, including the car park. You can check it on the Land Registry if you are doubtful. Under English property law that means its private property. Sure, our taxes, and public funds finance it, but that doesn't mean "we", or "the people" or "the public" own it. If your filming on private property you can be asked or told to stop. If you don't stop you can be removed from the premises using reasonable force, and no, that is NOT an assault. It's not a police thing, anyone can remove a trespassers from their own property. The cop at 6.00 was correct in what he said and quite polite about it. If Matt had been on the pavement just outside the car park then that conversation wouldn't have happened. This happens because many auditors and their followers believe that if you can "access" an area or property, then you have a legal "right" to film there. And sadly THAT really is bollox !
Would it be appropriate for you to wear a "shoulder tag" with a random number on it. When they ask who you are, you could just say "It's on there" and point to the shoulder tag.
When I was been threatened by a pyscho neighbour he lied to them and then took his side and told me not to contact them again. Yet here are loads of them for a man taking photos. They make me sick.
The best answer to that question "any reason why you wont provide your details" is well I value my privacy and value my right to privacy and I'm a private citizen easy answer to that question
Because if one is pig 🐖 is shutdown then another can ask the same question again in a different way to try and confuse the victim. its called police mind games basically.
@7:10, the Sgt says "I think you are one of those folk who come to the station to get an interaction to put on RUclips". Well if that is what you think Sergeant, the best thing you can do is to walk away and leave him alone, instead of standing there, insulting the member of the public by calling him 'sad' and giving him the content, you believe that he is wanting.
Judge - Officer, why did you stop, question and arrest this man? Officer - He was taking pictures and video legally in a public place! Judge - Case dismissed. Your dog is much smarter than all this lot put together (and a lot cuter). Would they arrest the dog as well as Oscar is obviously an accomplice. Don't these officers have anything else to deal with?
I wonder what the reaction would be to an artist making a sketch of a police station? If someone was to rock up with an artists easel and a stool to sit on?

"Legally speaking, what the eye can see, you can film" Thank you, stop there. No need to say any more. Thank you for clarifying that what I am doing is legal. Good day! Don't bother asking "permission". Several times he has said you are not breaking the law. Anything else is just him pushing his weight around. The bribery is ridiculous: "Pop off over there and we'll leave you alone..." But in any case, it was a lie; another copper stopped you anyway, on a public pavement. Suspicious is not a crime, nor is wanting to preserve your privacy suspicious. God give me strength. "I'm not trying to be awkward"...yeah, OK.
You can indeed film what the eye can see. However, what you can't do is trespass on others land which he was doing as the police man explained. No law is broken because trespassing is a civil offence. Any reputable auditor would not want to trespass and will leave the land of course.
When people are acting suspiciously, a Police Officer is entitled is go and ask questions, especially in this case as the male was trespassing on Police property at one point. Police asking questions is perfectly reasonable. Until the Police are satisfied that the male was just filming and not committing any offences they can approach him and speak to him to see what his intentions are. Nothing wrong in that. The male in this video didn’t need to go onto Police land to film the church, which was quite a way away. If he was that bothered about the church he would have gone nearer it. He was just wasting everybody’s time and doing it on purpose. Like I said in a previous comment what was the point. He’s just a sad man and pathetic.

They are obsessesed with getting their own way over every little point and they hate people who argue! Six people wearing costumes to try and force you to move 20 feet, you could stand on the pavement, lean over the wall and document every registration plate. It's a joke
He did the right thing walking away. He wasn't breaking criminal law, but, he was in breach of civil law. He was by definition, a tresspasser. That is NOT a criminal offence, you can't be arrested or detained, but, you can be removed from the property by force. The police 'could' have removed him if they wanted to, but, they would have been acting as "agents of the landowner" and not as police officers.
@Sam Williams Okay - thanks for straightening me out by critiquing my critique ! But I think the difference here is he isn't an actor - this was real life and he was just sharing his experience.
Admits he's bothering you - the amount the sausages incriminate themselves is hilarious they aint the brightest breed. Everything is logged on and offline. They will all be held accountable don't need a camera to have a witness to their actions, they're in a for a shock when they find out who's been monitoring them and how. I saw on the building behind had arrows pointing up sayin Beacon - at first I thought it said bacon - I wondered why the arrows wasn't pointing at him :)
So you want to follow a copper home, do you a) Search the whole of St Helens and Liverpool for these number plates shown on RUclips or b) Just wait outside the police station and follow them home.
You should suggest that if it's so dangerous to have their personal vehicles in public view, that they should ask for a bus pass as part of their salary.
yeah that is what I thought every time I hear them saying that . If they are that afraid of someone seeing them park there they should park somewhere else and then disguise themselves as they walk in so no one knows. Don't any of them watch James Bond movies ?
The only thing we have to fear is fear itself (as the saying goes) or if you're a copper the only thing you have to fear is fear and cameras. I googled it and it is a genuine phobia here it is: People who suffer from fear of cameras. At most times are purposely avoiding coming into contact with what it is that triggers them to experience fear or anxiety in the first place. This might seem like a good quick fix but truth is as mentioned above, if not completely understood what you are experiencing might start hurting or limiting your life in the long run. Sometimes, the people suffering from Cameraphobia, which is a of things phobia, try to avoid not only the exact objects (in this case cameras) or situations that trigger it but sometimes in severe cases the thought of those thing all together. This is all well and good, but should this not be brought up on PC plods medical questionnaire? and why do 99.8% of them have it?? pathetic.
They are so precious when it come to their own safety.........pity they are not so concerned with the public's safety when it come to muggers, rapists and paedophiles.

Cool , nice to know I can pop into my local police station and do my business , don’t want to be caught short .😏
He was a pure bully and a tyrant and he insulted you which is all bang out of order, he has no respect for the public or our rights. Good for you for standing your ground. Ill pay them a visit and hopefully ill be as calm as you 😊
Go get em.....!
Too right, it will be interesting to see if they treat a woman any differently, Ive only done one audit so far and got a mixed response.
Trying to criminalise a legal activity.
They are obsessesed with getting their own way over every little point and they hate people who argue! Six people wearing costumes to try and force you to move 20 feet, you could stand on the pavement, lean over the wall and document every registration plate. It's a joke
Tbh I have no time for the police abusing there powers, but they are spot on here.
The fool was told he was not committing any crimes yet he walked away
Make a video showing him how you do it .
@@LarryKapp1 deal!
@Sam Williams now this is wisdom right here.
The beard guy at the end was sent out to make the other muppets look ok
"The climate as it stands" are they police men or weathermen?
Brilliant shots of the dog sitting on wall looking at camera proper funny 😂😭👍💯 🐕💩
Admits he's bothering you - the amount the sausages incriminate themselves is hilarious they aint the brightest breed. Everything is logged on and offline. They will all be held accountable don't need a camera to have a witness to their actions, they're in a for a shock when they find out who's been monitoring them and how. Auditors are the least of their concerns.
Visit St Helens alot for hospital appointments from the Wirral it's honestly like going back in time! Ha the way he spoke to you as a member of the public was out of order
Absolutely brilliant. Brilliant footage. Big Respect mb
Nice one Marti, will give your'e Hmp's a watch when i get back 2mo night! 👊
Ah matt. The last guy was being OK.
I love it coz basically they are saying can you please tell me why you are not breaking the law
Oscar the top dog 👍. Good job and keep up the cracking videos 👏👏👏
I love oscar, mat is OK as well
I saw on the building behind had arrows pointing up sayin Beacon - at first I thought it said bacon - I wondered why the arrows wasn't pointing at him :)
fat boy never be slim, absolutely wounded, he came to you like superman and slinked away looking a fool dressed up as MR, Muscles lol
I wonder what the burglary clear up rate is in St Helens.
So you want to follow a copper home, do you a) Search the whole of St Helens and Liverpool for these number plates shown on RUclips or b) Just wait outside the police station and follow them home.
It is pretty obvious he uses his dog to get their scent and then the dog can do the tracking. I am surprised the cops get fooled by the decoy camera.
OMG this is my local police station 😂
Now you know what to do if want a copper when someone nicks your car or breaks into your house...
You have my sympathies!
@@mat12128 Thanks 😂
Well done fella. You're nice mannered to everyone.
dog got more common than the entire lot of em
I only watch these videos for the dog 😀
That’s how I get my kicks. Period
I googled it and it is a genuine phobia here it is:
People who suffer from fear of cameras.
Love the content from maine usa
Desperately trying to get the last order barked in toss pot.
I still believe these UK audits are well produced / directed comedy shows. The Modern Monty Python.
So ridiculously (un)real.
Keep it up, they need to ;earn to leave you alone!
"Private police vehicals."

Always reply to you Marie :)
tyrant
a. : a ruler who exercises absolute power oppressively or brutally. b. : one resembling an oppressive ruler in the harsh use of authority or power.
Why does it take 6 officers standing for one to clearly tell him n his dog where he can't walk on public path 🙈

A land owner has rights under common law to evict the illegal occupier without recourse to the courts in accordance with Halsbury’s Laws of England (Paragraph 1400, Volume 45, 4th Edition)
Police don’t own the land it’s public they can have private car parks which they did at the back with the gate which he never went in
@@owainhopkins425 unleash the dragon cop lover crying over all anti police comments cry baby
@@owainhopkins425 Well that totally depends who owns the land. You're making it way too simplistic. And it doesn't matter whether whoever owns that land is funded by the public. Remember that implied right of access can be removed by whoever owns the land.
Any public road is the most clear example of a real public place. Anything else may well be privately owned.
Just tell them you don't trust them with your details and refuse .
The only person that's sad here is the officer
