It is very good. And Canada is definitely beautiful, but for me his series on his first trip to Alaska for tops them all. He conveyed a sense of wonder that was almost spiritual. But this video certainly makes me wish I was young and newly married again.
That series in Alaska was indeed the first time in my life when I was truly at a loss for words to describe what my eyes were seeing. BUT, we’re always looks for the next adventure! 🤙🏼
I have been. fan of your videos for a few years now. As a Canadian I enjoyed watching you clear Customs at the Sault (YAM), where I worked for a number of years as a Station Manager for Canadian Airlines, now merged with Air Canada. It was great listening to you speak to the Tower Controller at YAM. I have sat up there and had Coffee with the Controller on many sunny afternoons. Then your trip to Collingwood was also cool because it was my backyard growing up. I spent many days skiing there and boating in the Summer. Looking forward to the Toronto Leg and to Billy Bishop Airport. Welcome to Canada 🇨🇦

Great story!! My GF and I just came back from Sedona last week. We flew there from Lafayette, La in a Cherokee 150. I watch all your Grand Canyon videos to help plan my trip and I also went to marble canyon and Paige, Az. I never would have known about these places without watching your videos. So thank you so much you def helped me plan a great trip and my GF and I will never forget. Can’t wait to see your Bahamas videos to help plan that trip next summer!!!
Yesterday I did my Discovery Flight, the first time being in a GA plane and my first time having the controls. It was amazing. I was completely blown away by the feeling of having the airplane in my hands. Now I'm planning on pursuing a Private Pilot license so that one day I can also make these fantastic trips you do. Following you here for almost 10 years (July 2013), you are a giant motivation for me. Thank you for sharing these videos, your knowledge, and your experiences.
As a 16 year old student pilot, these videos are incredibly educational and always very interesting to watch. Thank you for yet another captivating video!
@@MuffledBlueberry you can fly as young as 13 I believe. Depends on you instructor. You have to be 16 to get a student pilots license and 17 to get your private license
Years ago I would come to this channel to get my “flying procedures” fix, being an aspiring pilot and aviation nut. I find myself coming back with the intent of getting the same fix, but find myself sticking around for the story. The cinematographic nature of your videos has come a long way I’d say, and it’s beautiful. Thank you making the content that you do and sharing these experiences.
0:18, for a second I thought Chelsea was going to skydive out of the plane as I thought you guys were flying through a cloud, lol😅 Amazing video btw man, I’ve been watching your guys’ whole adventure from the start and I love that you guys are making memories from these flights. 👍
Awesome to see you enter through CYAM, home to myself and all the boys at Sault College. Your videos are a big inspiration to why I'm here flying the Zlins. Keep up the awesome content.
Sad that we missed you! Our plane was based at CNV8 Edenvale (you could see it when on approach to Collingwood) for 18 months while we re-built / restomodded it. Now based in Oshawa (Toronto)... but we have a weekend place in Quebec City. So open invitation to visit us there and fly around rural Quebec - doing your radio calls in French!
I didn’t even realize you guys were passing by SSM. I’m a student at the college there for aviation flying the Zlins! Awesome to see you stopped by there!!!
Hi Josh and Chelsea, you have the best videos ever! We met you at Oshkosh last year, I’m the guy that showed how not to land in the gulf of Mexico with a bonanza. I checked my logbook and of 320 hours last year, We landed in Canada seven times. It’s like the customs agents get to know our names. Looking forward to Chelsea’s live stream.
Excellent, as always, and inspirational! Once we get the money out of the shop with the new panel, we plan to explore America and beyond. Thanks for another great video. Hope to get you guys here for one of our safety talks soon.Doc
@@Highmaintenance_chels It's a great airport! So busy though. I'm from PEI Canada but I have flown into Toronto Island many times. Always a great time and a great city to boot. Glad you guys had a good time.
It’s videos like this that remind me of where I am and where I want to be. The place my 6yr old me wanted to be. I’m currently going into multi engine training in September. I had had so many friends reach out with similar stories since that video posted! It sounds like there are many pilots that never make it above ground affect and some even have to dodge trees at a wings length above the ground while looking for safety. I thought my 1000agl was scary. Thankful for a safe outcome and being able to wait till the next morning to try again! Hey Josh, love the vids and welcome to Canada! Just fyi, the ADIZ for U.S and Canada runs solely along the coasts, not along the boarders. The ADIZs are for aircraft entering our country's/continent's airspace from outside, it does nothing for aircraft already here. Safe flying man!

12:10 always odd to go south and stay in Canada. the ADIZ thing is cool though. did that on the south border once.
14:55 "do we need to eat them or is this a bad idea" [video edit showing it was a bad idea] heh
Hey Josh, enjoy Canada the scenery looks very beautiful. Also, it was nice meeting you at SNF on the last day before you guys departed
What a great episode, Josh! Love watching you two enjoy flying!
I really hope you got the Mackinac Island fudge
Or some saltwater taffy. The best!!!
I've been to CYAM once. Took a Q400 back to Portland! Cool vid man
Fantastic video guys, some really spectacular scenery around there👌
Beautiful flight...
Been close to 50 years since I’ve been to Mackinac with my folks! I was just learning to ride bike back then, & we rented bicycles & took a bike trail around the island! Only remember bits & pieces. Great times!!!!
Mackinac is such an amazing place! If you haven’t been as an adult, there is SO much to appreciate. I can’t wait to go back.
Welcome to Canada! I often fly into CNY3 as we have a Chalet in Blue Mountain. It's an amazing flight down Manitoulan Island. I often take that route to Oshkosh but clear customs in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan.
Nice! The mountains there are so pretty. So much more of Canada to explore too!
Oh, Canada! I miss you so much. Great video, Josh.
Awesome content mate, you guys will have to do a trip to Australia and do some flying/filming over here !!.
That would be fantastic! I’ve met lots of great aviation folks from Australia while attending OSH!
YES 🇦🇺
@Chelsea Smith it would be awesome to have you guys over here, so you can experience how we do things in aviation in Aus and see our beautiful scenery !!
19:34 Is that Coors Banquet?! Yeeyah!!!
Yep! 🍻
Great videos. In Part 4 you mentioned you had some kind of logistical issue with customs. We would love to hear what those issues were and how you remedied them. Thanks!
Happy stuff 4 sure TY 🙂
Hey Josh great video yet again! wondering what cameras you are running as I have been having problems with some of my Hero 8's
From KSLH (Cheboygan) HI ! So glad you guys had a chance to visit our neck of the woods.
It’s a beautiful area! Definitely want to come back.
Better and better, each video.
Love your videos, keep up the incredible work! Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Great video Josh.... Love seeing u clear customs at YAM, my home airport... although I haven't been flying for years, I have landed on that runway many many times. Come back to the Sault again and explore....good luck on the rest of your adventure...always look forward to your videos...
I definitely want to explore Sault!
RIP josh, hoping your memory lives on through this channel.
Love your channel..
Question. DO YOU USE " Jeppesen " maps with foreflight..
